• Magdalena (8/5): - Ich war froh um den Wasserkocher. So konnte ich ein Tee etc. machen. Sonst brauche ich ja kein Frühstück amigs. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit Allem.

• Sanja (10/5): - It was very clean, extremely good location for all the mountain exits and quiet surroundings. incredibly good bedding, pillows, really comfortable. The owner is also a very kind person. Not bad, just be aware that you are not allowed to cook in the apartment. However, you can bring a gas burner and cook lunch on the stone table in front of the building and wash the dishes as well, as this is actually part of the campsite. There is supposed to be a microwave outside, but I didn't go there to check.

• Andrea (8/5): Bellissima struttura - La struttura era pulita , ben tenuta,il personale disponibile e cortese che ha subito cercato di risolvere il problema del parcheggio. Il parcheggio. Avevamo riservato la struttura, come descritto nella descrizione, il parcheggio privato gratuito,caratteristica fondamentale per noi, per poi scoprire solo all'arrivo e solo per nostra delucidazione, che il parcheggio sarebbe stato chiuso alle ore 22 ( cosa NON precisata nella descrizione dell' Hotel). Ci siamo trovati costretti quindi a pagare altri 10 franchi in modo da avere un permesso per poter parcheggiare all'orario a noi più consono e fondamentale. Nonostante questo la seconda notte, alle 3 di notte ci siamo trovati con tutti i i parcheggi occupati e senza posto macchina con il parcheggio più vicino a 20 minuti a piedi dall'alloggio.
• Yulia (8/5): Хорошо, но есть нюансы - В целом хорошая комната, большой телевизор, нормальный напор воды, удобная кровать, приветливые владельцы кемпинга. Это кемпинг, а окна номера выходят аккурат на общую площадку. Разговоры, смех, крики, лай собак с 6 утра до 23 часов. Под комнатой на нулевом этаже расположены туалеты и душевые, куда ходят круглосуточно люди. Всю ночь слышен звук льющейся воды, звук шагов по гравийной дорожке. В общем, окна открыть не возможно. А жить с закрытыми окнами даже с вентилятором - тоже нереально. Шторы тоже открыть невозможно, потому что ты как на витрине перед всем кемпингом.

• Robin (8/5): A clean and comfortable option for staying in the Brienz area - The room was comfortable and well set out with a table and two chairs to eat at, and a comfortable king sized bed. The location was fine if you had a car with a mere 5 minute drive to either Meiringen or the Aare gorge. Both were also reachable by foot in about 20-30 minutes.There was a small refrigerator in the room as well as a sink to wash dishes (cutlery, plates and glasses were provided for eating in room) The accommodation is part of a campground which is the major business. It’s somewhat remote although to be fair it does mean that it’s relatively peaceful. No shower gel/shampoo provided only liquid hand soap. While there were kitchenette style facilities, no cooking (a microwave might be nice) so you had to eat at the restaurant downstairs (simple menu), in Meiringen or get take away and eat in the room.

• E (10/5): Great room in a camp area - Price is great. Nice camp area. Room newly renovated with nice bathroom. Location is remote so you need a car but that was known and it’s fine.
• Whittington (10/5): Loved it. - Had a great feel about the place, felt welcomed. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Info and vouchers for local shop and tourist discount were very welcome and the restaurant area while basic was tasty and just what we needed. The only moan was from my daughter who couldn't find any English channels on the TV. Made it easier to turn off, in my view a positive.

• Wojciech (1/5): Horrid - It was very clean This was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I appreciate that the rules are to check in between 15:00-18:00 but we had a medical emergency and we could not make it on time. We would have been there at 21:00 instead. Host showed zero empathy to the situation, refusing to find a workaround solution (extra fee for late check in or something like that). Moreover, the best part is that the restaurant downstairs is open till 10pm and employees/family stay in the room next door. She refused to return the money and we ended up staying there one night but paying for two. On top of that we had to find a place to sleep at last minute and had to pay extra somewhere else. I’ve been in many places around the world before but this is surely the first time someone treated me like this. You can find a better place to stay for the same price in this area.

• Bastian (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect. In nature but easily able to walk to Meiringen. Sandra is very kind too! The room was nice, we slept very well on the bed and the mid room cleaning was also very nice. Room was very clean in general as well. I would happily come back next time! The rooms are maybe a little smaller than expected but definitely large enough. As long as the expectations are correct than there should be no issues. The room serves very well if you stay for a couple of days for sure.
• Sivapalan (10/5): A very comfortable stay, you will not regret it! - Everything was perfect! The rooms were clean and very spacious. Lots of parking and very quiet. The hosts were fantastic and very welcoming. Nothing, everything was great!
• Michelle (8/5): Very good - The room was comfortable, the shower was excellent. The location, although very weird, is a good base for sightseeing the are. We never really met the owner. We received the key from a person who did not know anything about our reservation and couldn't answer any questions. We received several emails in German urging us to pay the local tax of 16 franks. Eventually I knocked at their door and paid them the 16 Francs in cash, only to find out that according to "booking" we were supposed to pay only 13 francs as tax. There is nobody to talk to. We were also told by the owner when I paid her the tax that there was a visitor card that gives you several discounts. However we did not know anything about it because everything was in German only. When I pointed it out to her, she shrugged. The room is just above a camping site

• Mary (5/5): OK accommodation, but I won’t rush back - Useful to have fridge and kettle, cutlery and crockery, sofa and table No shower gel/shampoo (inconvenient when trekking, as we were). Apt was about a mile from town centre for nearest supermarket and most restaurants, so quite a walk for supplies/food. Room was uncomfortably hot (all the time - even at night), so difficult to sleep. Extra cost if you wanted breakfast. Location in campsite reception building overlooked camping area with play areas and seating, so might be noisy in summer season.

• Cady (8/5): Very good - the room is above the main shower/checkin building for a camp ground. It's quiet and a bit more outside the center. It's nice if you want to get away from the sherlock holmes themed center of town. It's not super clear where you are going to check in until you enter the campground. Check out and check in are a little less clear but they were more than willing to help even though I don't speak german and everything worked out fine.
