- Wi (8/5): Location CBD and Access Is The Selling Point - No Breakfast Self Contained
Location So Convenient Air Conditioner Would Have Been An Addtional Saviour For 2nd Bedroom At Entrance Given Unit Configuration & position of current air condtion location.
- Shackleton (10/5): Great budget friendly apartment - Apartment was clean, tidy and had everything we could need. Close to everything too.

- Kyla (6/5): The stay was okay overall, but clearer instructions and a few improvements would have made it much more pleasant. - Location in the city was great, walking distance to lots of places in the CBD and tram stops nearby. Locating the key locker was straightforward thanks to the instructions, but it wasn’t within walking distance to the property, meaning we had to make two stops with our Uber and he waited in between. Finding the actual entrance to the apartment was much harder — we spent at least 30 minutes walking around with our luggage before figuring it out. Some photos or clearer directions in the welcome message (e.g. that it’s down a small alley next to the tattoo shop) would have made things much easier.
When I reached out to the property for help, I was told not to call but to message instead. The responses were blunt and not very helpful. Eventually I was given a number to call, but the interaction felt quite rude and unhelpful. Luckily, someone I was staying with happened to find the entrance during the call.
For a $500 damage deposit, the apartment didn’t feel up to standard. While it was generally “clean,” the walls had many marks and didn’t look properly wiped down.
The beds were also uncomfortable — I usually don’t mind firm or basic beds, but I struggled to sleep on these ones. Street noise was also noticeable at night, which may be an issue for light sleepers.
The big window was great, but it's a little awkward as pedestrians can see in especially at night time. As the window is not tinted. So we mostly had the curtain down.
Overall, the stay was okay but stressful at times. Clearer instructions, more helpful communication, and a few improvements to cleanliness and comfort would make a big difference.
- Richardson (10/5): Excellent great location private - 2 keys would have been great
- Terence (9/5): A comfortable apartment , in an ideal location. Really good value . - Great location, comfortable accommodation.
- Annie (7/5): Good -
- David (9/5): Really awesome apartment in the heart of Melbourne - The location and size of the apartment was brilliant Overall the property was great the beds could be slightly more comfortable.
- Salahaldin (7/5): Pleasant but stressful - The location is brilliant. It was clean. You will find all you need. The pedestrians on the street can see you. The window glass isn't opaque. They require a $500 deposit, which they will release within 5 to 10 days. If you're late, the key's location may cause you concern. They stated it was 025, but we also got 25 out of the box, so we're stressed. The building is not on the street. You must enter No Name Alley, which ends with a tattoo store, and then turn left to discover the building. The key lock requires oil. It was tough to remove the key when you unlocked the door. They require more specific instructions for the address.
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Low alarm battery disrupted sleep the first night. Inquiries with owner/agent were answered brusquely. Maybe language was a barrier. Apt was clean but a little run down. Beds quite hard and low but able sleep. Air con good. Location good. First access to apt was complicated and entry way from Bourke St is a little scary.
- Alex (8/5): Overall good - The location was very good as it was close to most parts of the city and next door to Chinatown and the theatre districts. The pick up for the keys was the only negative experience. The pick-up location was not close to the apartment itself and because we arrived at mid-night and it was raining, we had to spend a lot of time to find the pick-up location and then drag our luggage a number of city blocks in the middle of the night to find the apartment itself. The pick-up location needs to be a lot closer to the apartment as it does not cater very well for late arrivals or people with a lot of luggage.
- Ferguson (7/5): Good -
- Vu (10/5): Great place to visit Melbourne - Apartment very closer with chinatown and shopping center. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, making it easy to see inside from the outside, so the curtains always have to be fully closed
- Tina (4/5): Not good - It was a good location, air conditioning was good, kitchen was functional I hate to write bad reviews, but I'd never stay here again. The beds were uncomfortable, one of them you could feel the springs in your back. The couch was like a 1 and a half seater not a two seater, it felt like you were sitting on a wooden box. The milk provided was off and went lumpy in our coffee. The quilts were stained and couch and cushions had dirty marks on then. You could here the trams everytime it went by as it was right outside. And the fact you have to grab the key 15 mins away from the apartment was a big no for me. And grabbing the key at 3pm is not checking in at 3pm. There was no suggestions for where to leave our luggage even after expressing a dilemma with arriving early.i feel more instructions would help the stay. I found an app called bubble and the customer service from that was amazing. I've stayed in so many places in Melbourne, and this would have to be the worst. Minor changes would make this place a higher rating.
- Maja (6/5): Great location, but not clean at all. Don’t think we would come back - Great location Overall not clean, empty soap bottle in bathroom, dirty with yellow stains comforters, uncomfortable beds, dirty sticky pots, empty alarm battery in first bedroom from the door, it constantly makes sound. Washing machine was smelling terribly and dirty inside. We were visiting with kids and I was counting on washing some of their clothes but didn’t do any at the end. It felt like someone just left apartment without any cleaning nor preparation for guests.
- Tuong (8/5): 9.5/10 - Everything The wifi
- Marianne (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (8/5): Good location and very convenient for restaurants and shopping. - Basic facilities and good enough just for sleeping and resting for the night. The key is a bit hard to get. The cabinet is very low and not an easy access for tall people. Overall, it’s a good value for the location and convenience for food. The place is ok for resting and slepeing although the bed is a bit low.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Close to everything Could be more better but other than that all good
- Rafael (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (7/5): Good - The location was good in that it was close to a lot of attractions and restaurants etc. Getting the key was an ordeal. Had to go to an e-cafe to retrieve the key from a lock box. Then it was a tram ride/15 minute walk to the actual accommodation.
The couch only seated one person comfortably.
- Lacsina (10/5): Excellent, stress free and convenient - In the heart of the city. Close to a variety of shopping and food districts. Nothing
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- Reid (8/5): Very good - Great location and comfy
- Kelly (10/5): amazing location and great price. perfect for what we needed. - close to everything nothing
- Shan (9/5): Superb - location
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Jo (8/5): Good location and apartment, admin needs improving. - Good location for MCG, Chinatown & theatres. the local supermarket was close by. spacious apartment and quiet. The Internet did not work at all, even when the dongle was charged. Being asked to text credit card details for deposit 4 hours before check-in was not ok. A 15-minute walk from getting the keys to the apartment.
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Quinn (7/5): enjoyed - good location and spacious no tissues or face washers
