• Guest (9/5): Beautiful location, walking distance to beach. Nice accommodation, would recommend - The location of this apartment is wonderful being walking distance to two of the five beaches in Port Hood. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The pull down bed in the living room was comfortable and the hostess was very friendly. Would recommend! Being a basement suite, there was a little noise from above but that's expected and honestly, it wasn't that bad.

• Christina (10/5): Such a serene place! - The view was incredible and a gorgeous sunset topped off the evening. The host came out to chat a bit when we returned from our walk to the shore, and was very pleasant. We were able to watch a great movie on Prime. Check in was easy and the place spotless!

• Andrew (8/5): - Good location, and we had a nice chat with Brian. The bed was a little small for us, and the mattress sloped upwards towards the edges, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Everything else was fine though.
• Rose-Anne O (9/5): Peaceful with lovely views - Location by the beach. View from the chairs on the lawn. Well equipped kitchen. It was very clean. Linda was helpful when we needed it, and it was very private otherwise. It was rather dark, which we did know beforehand.
• Misae (9/5): - I wished we could have more time to explore the vicinity. It was equipped with washer/dryer and all the fixings for the morning coffee ❤️ The mattress needs to be replaced, it sags in the center.

Good amenities. Nicely decorated. Located across the road from a beach and beside a Celtic Coastal Trail entry point. Not much natural light as it is a basement apartment

• Wright (10/5): Stunning view of the beach scenery from a well appointed, comfortable apartment. - The site was close to our sightseeing plans for our trip..centrally located with all the conveniences nearby. The unit was well set up for all needs, full size fridge, kitchen totally set uop like home for appliances, plus washer and dryer. It was very comfortable. That we couldn't stay longer.

• Deborah (9/5): Great stay…would definitely stay again - Great apartment below owners house with its own entrance and easy key pad entry. The whole apartment has been nicely decorated and provides a full size washer and dryer, and complete kitchen, dining room table and living room (even has a Murphy bed if necessary). Nice view and easy walking distance to the bay as it is right across the street. Bed was super soft for our taste, but otherwise it was a great place to stay!! Nothing else to dislike!

• Dee (8/5): Great location. - Spacious, well equipped, good location. Because it's the basement not really a view as cars parked in front of windows. Your windows are located under the owners deck. But close to walk to beach and there is a small deck area beside the driveway. The upper deck in photo is owners. Little bit dusty in spots but overall clean.

Only things that would have helped me more was knowing that washer / dryer was available for a small cash fee. Also, the host needed a heads up we were on the way but confirming through booking.com apparently didn’t go through while I had limited access to wifi and no cell service in Canada (maybe operator error on my part?). Other than that, had a lovely time in Port Hood and at Beachview Apartment.

• Shelley (8/5): Good for a 1-night stay while passing through - Easy access via door code, very clean and spacious, good location There was a sign on the washing machine in the unit that we had to pay $5 per load. I would think that could be included in the overall cost, especially when you see the washer/dryer in the photos of the unit while booking. At the very least that information should be included in the description so you are aware ahead of time.
