Ils ont changé nos serviettes durant notre séjour et fait le ménage de notre appartement. La seule chose il manquait un micro ondes. Cela aurait été pratique car il n'y avait pas de four.

- Anna (9/5): Cozy stay @ Calma - Andrea, the host, was very helpful all the way through. We stayed for 5 nights and both check-in and check-out was flexible. The apartment was clean and tidy, with a love for detail. If needed, another cleaning and laundry was very easily organized. Best thing though: the beach is only 10min walk away. The street is close and busy and construction work takes place all over Santa Teresa - but nothing a host can change.

- Congxi (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay here! It is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our 5 days vacation in Santa Teresa. It’s off the main road and is peaceful and quiet but still walkable to restaurants and markets. It also surprisingly doesn’t have as many bugs as other places we stayed in Costa Rica. The AC is a huge plus as well. Francesco is a fantastic host and made our stay extra pleasant. Will come back again! Nothing

- Dani (1/5): Bad - The decor is nice with a lot of attention to detail I booked because on the listing it says “private entrance”, “sound proof rooms” and the pictures made it seem like it’s an apartment alone with a pool. I arrived to discover not only is it not a private entrance but the apartment basically is in the entrance where everyone walks by and there is a big window so everyone can see into the place. Also there were many kids there and in the apartment I had a lot of noise from people running upstairs. I felt very uncomfortable and when I tried communicating with them, their response was “contact booking” so I’m pretty unimpressed. I’ve stayed at many places in my life, my standards aren’t super high but I was very disappointed. I ended up moving somewhere else and was much happier. Maybe for a family with kids it’s good.

Very good location for exploring the area The road in front of the apartment is a little bit bumpy but that’s something that you have to get used to when travelling to Santa Teresa :)

- Andrew (10/5): Excellent small apartment with everything you need - Great little apartment with good attention to detail. A lot of small things which help make a difference like hangers, shelves, a cup for your toothbrush etc. Good pool, cute outside area and balcony, comfortable bed, and a really nice kitchen. Also, the owner was very helpful in sending us public transport schedules and instructions on how to find the place without a car. We loved it and extended one more night (would've extended more if it was available). Would definitely recommend. The wifi could've been better, dropping out from time to time. Minor detail and not sure where to put it, but it would be nice to also have a table to eat at indoors, or another chair for the small desk.

The host was really nice and shared a lot of valuable information about Santa Teresa with us. Our room was very comfortable with a small kitchen, a fridge and a balcony. Also, we had cooled filtered water prepared in our fridge and appreciated it a lot.

- Salken (9/5): we loved our stay at la calma! it comfortable, clean, and has good beach access. - andrea and her husband were the perfect hosts. the apartment was clean and had everything we needed to make it feel like our second home. it was nice to have a functional kitchen and the private balcony overlooking the tiny pool provided a quiet place to start our day, and act as a refuge from the bustle of santa teresa. the property is right on the main road which has become increasingly busy with vehicular traffic. the busyness of the traffic and the construction on the road meant for loud mornings. this is no fault of our wonderful hosts, and sadly more a result of things developing too fast in the area.

The apartment was super clean and they even offer daily cleaner for free. internet speed was 80Mb down 20Mb up when we tested it. We were able to work from there most of the time without problems (but don’t forget that you are in the middle of the jungle and nobody in the whole town can guarantee you 100% internet stability or even electricity!) The attention of Andrea and Txema was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Nothing
