- Julie (6/5): Location not Comfort - Location was good. 46 stairs to get to the room, I asked how many floors before stay & answer was a couple of flights.
Tiny bathroom with poor temp control of water. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall.
No toaster & only 1 fork but 2 of evrrything else.
2 boxex tissues each with 1 tissue each
No outdoor rubbish bins
Parking was bad. It is in a church yard & although we reserved a park it wasn't available on day 2 as other people parked in it. Response from contact was not helpful.
I suggest improved customer service is to allocate a definite parking spot to each guest who requests it, not roulette of being left what hadnt been taken.
Washing machine in lobby, free to use but people left their items in there overnight 🫤

- Archie (7/5): Convenient and good enough. - Convenient location, good price and easy stay. The lock on the door was on its last legs, looked like someone had smashed it in before, but it still worked. I don’t mind a few flights of stairs but others may not appreciate no elevator.

- Wendy (9/5): Comfortable and convenient - The room was very comfy and well stocked with all I needed for my stay. The location was great for my needs and it was easy to find food for dinner. I would use this fascility again in the future. The shower head needs to be repaired as it sprays out to the sudes
- Brandon (9/5): -
- Bethany (10/5): Great service and very clean - Very clean and close to restaurant and bar facilities The stairs were a bit difficult and we didn’t really know about them. The laundry was shared when was a downside

- Michelle (6/5): I have stayed twice and it is value for money. - The location. The air conditioning was not working. The room had no air flow. It also had a damp smell.
- Kristina (2/5): Okay if you are deaf and don't use the dishes. - The bed was comfortable and the location was good. I arrived around 9pm to my studio and my immediate impression was the room had a heavy fake fragrance and sounded like an extremely loud generator was holding on for dear life right next to my room. I messaged the owners straight away to ask what it was-hopefully it was pasta pregos cooking facilities downstairs (I could certainly smell it under the fragrance bombs shoved into every crevice of the room) and it would end its shift by 10pm? Unfortunately I had no reply from the owners and the sound somehow became more unholy as the night wore on, changing in vibration and pitch with each resident's attempt to change their ducted air conditioning setting until the entire system finally broke around 4am and I drifted into a weary sleep similar to that of being released from a torturers grip. Needless to say I wasn't sticking around the second night to see if they had fixed the ducted air con as the only message they had sent me was at 1pm the next day with an automated message letting me know they'd be there if there was anything I needed 😂 I have still not had a reply a week later. Also the plates and cups were unwashed.
- Felix Thomas (8/5): Great place with cosy vibes - Clean and close fo shops and bars. The WiFi is not stable and sometimes doesn't work the entire day.
- Michelle (10/5): Loved my stay. - The room was good and the view was interesting. The stairs with a heavy suitcase are annoying.
- Janice (10/5): Accomidateing - The whole experience They firgot to replace my milk
- Jamieson-luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): good choice and very relaxing -
- Kimberley (3/5): Cheap, but couldnt shower! - The room was very small, basically just the bed (which is fine), good location, easy access. The shower head basically just dripped or you had to hose yourself off holding the shower head, was unusable, and extremely disappointing for a multi-night stay! I was given a code for the WIFI but could not connect!!
- Lori (9/5): Superb -
- Nicolas (1/5): Very disappointed - - Very disappointed. Persistent and noisy water leak, repairman entering without warning, deplorable hygiene (condoms behind the bed, used bandage, and hair in the shower). The owner has stopped responding after my request for compensation. No responsiveness, no regard for tenants.
- Wendy (9/5): Very good, very quiet, clean and easy to find - Property is central to shops The stairs.
- Satya (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (9/5): Perfect for me - I'm a return solo traveller. Always a simple, comfy and pleasant base for my stay. Beds are great and check-in/communication is seamless. Location is the best! I'll be back.
- Sarah (8/5): Clean room, easy to locate and get into, great location. - It was tidy and in a great location. Self service was really helpful for late check-ins. Couldn’t get hold of the property manager on the phone (we tried to help someone who was locked out of their room without their phone). The door jamb was a bit damaged on our door, wasn’t sure how secure it was, but it did still lock.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Jamil (10/5): very nice cosy room. - the room is small as advertised, which is perfect for sleeping and basing yourself in Melbourne. its extremely well located on chapel streets and close to the nightlife which is why I chose this place. the bed was comfortable and the check in and check out process was extremely easy. I really felt comfortable in this place, and have rebooked it for my next visit. I had no concerns at all. just a note to those booking, my room was on the third level, which doesn't have an elevator. so there are quite a lot of stairs if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues. other than that the place exceeded my expectations.
- Barker (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (5/5): Passable - The shower and bed Dirty stains on pillow case mold kettle didn't work tv was dodgy not working properly not enuff coffee or sugar
- Harley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (6/5): Quality time with my daughter - The location to the market was great The shower was not clean, very little space for hanging clothing, no tea towel to dry dishes, tiny sink in the bathroom to wash our cups in. Very noisy location at night time, many clubs around.
- Jason (9/5): Superb - Location and cleanliness of the room N/A
- Seyed (7/5): Good -
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- Diana (7/5): Good -
- Marina (6/5): Only book if you don't need to sleep overnight. - It was OK for the price and the hosts were responsive. The only sink was the minuscule one in the bathroom, making it difficult to wash the dishes. No wonder some of them didn't appear clean on arrival. However, the main issue is the excessive overnight noise next door.
- Yugo (8/5): Very good -
- Shantanu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (7/5): Overall a good stay for solo travellers or 2 people. Clean space with kitchenette kettle toaster cuterly, got everything - Great location so close to everything! Easy and safe access to the property. Gets a bit loud at night time especially on weekends being on a busy street and next to bars.
- Barry (6/5): Suited us for a one night stay. - Breakfast was not supplied. Location suited our requirements. Bathroom was too small. Also having to carry luggage up so many flights of stairs was not ideal.
- Katie (7/5): Good - - Bed was comfortable
- Room was modern and updated
- Perfect location for what we required
- Late checkout in the morning
- Quiet building even with he nightclubs below
- Easy to locate from instructions - Room was a little unclean (especially under and around bed)
- Water went brown throughout our stay
- TV reception didn't always work
- Code to get in didn't work, needed assistance
- More pillows would of been great
