Sincere thanks to our warm and considerate host, who couldn't have made us feel more welcome, even meeting us towards midnight, due to our late flight arrival. The downstairs cafes were very convenient, and you only had to walk up the street to access the tram at the Shrine of Remembrance stop. Wonderful find - we'll be back. Nothing.

Small apartment with separate bedroom, living bit, and kitchen in one space. The host kindly waited late for our check-in. Everything was set, nice bar downstairs too. Would definitely book it again

• Nadene (10/5): Comfortable accommodation with good access to trams but if you’ve got a car/4WD expect to pay overpriced parking fee - Great location with Cafe and supermarket close by. Parking issues. Have to pay for on street parking around appartments and the only free on street parking over Saturday & Sunday (which I wasn’t able to get either days) was a street away - not great when Melbourne weather wasn’t the best.

• Tri Anggraini (10/5): I love it so much, so recommended - Toni is a very nice lady, so helpful and so kind, i am absolutely recommend her place and definitely will stay there if i am going to Melbourne again. The place close to tram station and only took me 18 minutes walk from Flinders train station, and it so close to the CBD, you can walk from the CBD to this place while enjoying beautiful view dan places in Melbourne CBD nothing, everything is perfect, anything you need is provided in this apartment, so basically i can work, cook, relax and also this place have gym facilities and swimming pools, that we can use and that's fantastic.

• Carina (10/5): Perfect stay in a quiet and great location - The apartment was spotless, modern, and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay! The neighbourhood is super quiet but still central, making it easy to walk or catch the tram. There are great cafés, grocery shops, and restaurants nearby. Toni was lovely and made us feel very welcome — she explained everything clearly and gave us great recommendations for places around.
• Elizabeth (9/5): The apartment was very comfortable and convenient for our short stay. - The apartment was exactly as had been described, so no let downs on the description. Some real milk (ie not tiny long life capsules) was in the fridge to make drinks as soon as we arrived. Our host called to say we could stay later on the final morning; that was a lovely bonus. There was hair shampoo in the bathroom but no conditioner - not a problem, just a small item which was not really significant, but we get used to finding it supplied.

Situated in a modern building in a nice area (great cafés and botanical gardens nearby); town centre is easy to reach by tram; beautiful view of the skyline from the apartment; dishwasher and washing machine came in very handy.

Warm and friendly, very communicative and went out of their way to meet - Location was perfect for its proximity to the locations that we needed to visit. Security was very good and the apartment was quiet. Our hosts Toni and Terry could not be faulted. We felt warmly welcomed. Unit is showing areas of wear and tear. Not major but noticeable. Bathroom has water damage, exhaust fan needed cleaning, no bathroom amenities that you would receive in a hotel, and towels needed upgrading ( they had bleach stains). Like I said, they’re not big issues, but they’re noticeable.

All amenities as advertised (would have preferred an electric kettle as opposed to a gas hob one). Excellent shower. Comfy bed. Allowed to stay in the apartment after the official departure time & seeing as we had quite a late flight this was much appreciated. Bit cluttered in the living area. No drawers to put anything in, though plenty of wardrobe hanging space. For non Australian travellers a mobile phone adapter/USB port would be advantageous/appreciated.

Nice and quiet location with a great view from the balcony. Cafes and a mini supermarket also really close by made this a great place to stay if you're wanting to experience Melbourne without staying amongst the hustle and bustle! There really wasn't anything I didn't like. Would have loved a microwave but thats a really minor incovenience that wouldn't impact my decision to want to come back here again. Will be looking to rebook ahead of the Melbourne marathon again next year!

• Su (9/5): A lovely return to a beautiful city, enhanced by a welcoming apartment & good public transport - Everything worked out fine. the only regret was that we didn't meet our host, Toni. to thank her in person for crucially getting the key fob to our son's flat in Brisbane, ahead of our visit to Melbourne. In the meantime, we built up a constructive warm relationship by email and I hope to keep in touch. The location was great, with excellent transport links & the botanical gardens within walking distance. The room itself was lovely, well equipped and with nice personal touches. The only regret was that we didn't meet our host, Toni in the end.

• Bateman (10/5): Exceptional - Very close to trams to take you to the city, very convenient. Apartment was stunning, shocked that an apartment as good as this was as cheap as it was. Toni was understanding when we were having trouble getting to the apartment due to roadworks.
• Janette (7/5): Good - Excellent location. It is very easy to access all the central sites. Botanical garden, art gallery, AMCI, and migration museum very close by. It was very easy to contact the owner who was quick to respond. Unfortunately, it is completely out of the owners' control, but major building work taking place on the block of flats. It was very noisy from 7.30 am in the morning. Drilling started at about 7.40am. Unable to use the pretty balcony as builders working on the exterior of the building and it was too dusty.. When the work is completed, it will be a great place to stay as the apartment is centrally located. Weekends no building work, so we had a peaceful Saturday and Sunday.. If you are bothered by noise, suggest you check out with the owner if the work has ended.
