• Donna-Lee (4/5): Stressful check in - Location was great Check in was stressful. We begun to think we had been scammed. We had asked for an early check in, wasn't accepted nor denied. They done a face recognition check on our way from the airport then wouldn't give us check in details when they knew we were on our way to accommodation. Due to stressful check in we wouldn't stay here again, id go with a hotel room before here again. The list of rules was excessive when the air-conditioning remote didn't even have working batteries, and the blinds may have been non existing as the rooms were so bright
• Rachel (6/5): Could be much better with a bit of money spent on it. - Location was great, building was ok. Needs some money spent, main bed was very uncomfortable and there have been numerous mentions of this, blinds were damaged- it felt uncared for. Having to pay a large deposit and wait for ages for it to be retuned was not great.
• Cici (1/5): Bad - we don't like the property. because they told me need deposit more 300$, if not they don't give me the key for check in. i was pay full price before, and then when i deposit for them my family arrived at 5pm. We waited outside till 9pm for check in. And now they don't refund 300$ for me.
• Paula (9/5): Great apartment, a couple of little things that are easy fixes. - Location and the clean apartment. Pool was great on the hot day also. The key kept getting stuck in the lock. The remote for the apartment was missing so we had to keep pushing the manual button on the unit.

• Imogen (8/5): Really nice thank you - Beautiful location! Great layout. Good beds. Good bathroom. Nice living room and kitchen. Got in so last minute. The couch was uncomfortable. The vacuum didn’t work. Broken bathroom door. Kitchen lights didn’t work. Sugar and coffee tins had ants and dried up bits in them.
• Mark (7/5): This property should not be on Booking.com. It's a disgrace that they still are. - The accommodation was ok. More than enough space for the 3 of us. View from lounge and main bedroom is very good. Just look at all the previous reviews and you'll see what I also didn't like. For example, being asked to provide images of both sides of my credit card (not likely!), being asked to pay $300 security deposit and waiting a month for it to be returned (after many calls to the owner and Booking.com), going on a treasure hunt to find the keys, bathroom door can't be latched. And finally, the smoke detector battery was beeping every 30 seconds which is not surprising given it had expired in 2017! After contacting the owners I bought new batteries but would not be compensated by the owners.

• Courtney (8/5): I’d happily stay here again. Was nice and cosy. - The location was awesome. Close to the city, trams and everything you need. Awesome views and a nice cosy apartment. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of would be the key pickup. It was hard to find easily and being on my own with 4 kids having to lug the luggage over and back with 4 kids to get the keys was a little hard. Could probably do with fixing up a few things though but not huge problems.

Very spacious. - The size, everything in the apartment, the views The bathroom door didn’t shut and the shower head was broken and terrible. Very frustrating to shower. A lot of messages about the place before during and after my stay. One message with all info before or on the day would have been better.

• Nancy (4/5): disappointing - The location was great. Close to shops, park Key pick up felt like treasure hunt, kitchen sink was leaking, missing and broken blinds, but most of all my $300 bond did not get returned to for 4 weeks, way to long as I left apartment in good condition

• Colleen (7/5): Good - Iocation was great Nice and clean, except someone had drawn on the wall in the second bedroom, unsure why the cleaners did not notice this, We found it strange that we had go across the road to access the lock to obtain the key. This was very inconvenient

• Christine (7/5): Great Location. - Great location. Walking distance to the tram and train station. A very happening area. All is good but just need to make the key collection and handing over to be more convenient. It can be a little complicated and daunting when in a rush. Also an extra floor mat and a broom could be useful. And also heater in the rooms would have been great.

• Richelle (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfy beds. Clean, good location and great views. Limited kitchen items and no condiments. Would have been handy to have salt, pepper and oil.
• Shauna (7/5): Basically comfortable but initially stressful. - The apartment was well located with good access to public transport. Nice views over the city and out to the port. Communication with owner was difficult. I did not receive information about key access until over an hour after arrival. When I tried to call the owner the voice bank was full so had to try and contact via email. I had not been advised that the key would be in a lock box attached to a bike rack some distance from the apartment. If this had been provided prior to arrival it would not have been as stressful and frustrating. Bond by credit card and ID was requested the evening prior to arrival. I felt uncomfortable providing these personal details. Linen and towels were good quality but kitchen and bathroom were very dated with leaking kitchen tap which I advised owner about.
• Clifford (9/5): Good location with views of the ocean - Location was good. Close to most things we wanted to do and easy to find transport to other things. Good facilities. Booked for 5 people. Only had four towels. Would be good to have enough supplies of this sought of thing for amount of people booked.
• Anna (8/5): Nice but can be improved - Great city views, nice location. appartments is tidy and clean. Bed is comfortable. Only provides 1 set of the keys. The building entry door and the elevator all need key tag, when only have one sets of it is very inconvenient for the family of 4. Not able to use Heatpump as no battery in the controls. Building receptions is not able to do anything regarding any issues or problems. No place to store the luggage’s after 10 am check out, but our flight is at 11pm.

• Erica (9/5): Excellent location and great little clean and comfortable apartment. - The apartment was in an excellent location and nice and clean. The pool in the building was nice. The check in procedure was difficult. It would be better to send photos in future rather than a link as the drive link was broken and unable to access it from multiple devices. Standing out in the rain for 10 or so minutes was not enjoyable.
• Katherine (5/5): Could do Better - The location of the property was pretty good - easy walking distance to Southbank Beds were very comfortable and the unit had air conditioning Great view of Port Phillip Bay from the lounge room Fairly well equipped premises We were given the wrong combination to the lock box and the lock box was attached to a bike stand down the street - it was raining and I couldn't reach anyone on the phone number provided on the initial booking. Finally got hold of the "cleaner" who gave me the right combination. On entering the property there was a hole in the wall where the front door had banged against the wall. There were some wires exposed in the kitchen, someone had drawn all over one wall in one of the bedrooms with a black marker and all the cords on the blinds were hanging down which would have been a hazard if we had a small child A bit more thought is needed on the presentation of the property, otherwise it was very clean.

I said just my card on the booking and they said it is blocked on their system so the needed photo of my credit card both front and back. I refused and cancelled.

• Sylvia (7/5): Good - Clean, close to shops, great view. The main bed was broken, the dishwasher didn't work, couldn't get into apartment because couldn't find where the keylock was because couldn't copy and paste instructions.
• Taryn (5/5): great location but beds need to be changed - Location was fantastic and staff were friendly. The beds and pillows were terrible. One was really hard and the other fell in the middle. The blinds are also broken and one was completely missing which allowed light in at crack of dawn
• Srikishan (8/5): Good stay marred by few issues with the room and security deposit follow-up! - Excellent location - stone's throw from the heart of the city. Amazing views all around the apartment. Check-in was a bit complicated, but the room itself was well kept, clean and had all the amenities required for a short stay in the city. Host was very responsive and helpful for most of the time (more comments below). Unfortunately, there were issues we faced with our trip: 1. The bed in the second bedroom sags a lot in the middle. Can be a big problem with someone with back issues. We were ok, but the host really needs to get this changed asap. 2. Dishwasher was not switching on. Not a big problem for us as we didn't do much cooking. But can be an issue if you are planning to cook. 3. Finding the keys for check-in can be a challenge if you do not check properly with the host prior. 4. The host could not use credit card details maintained on the website for deposit or room charges. This was not a card problem as host/properties we stayed in just a couple of weeks earlier/later didn't have similar issues. We had to make direct bank transfer to host's account for security deposit and room charges. 5. Host was unable to return our security deposit of $300 even a week after check out. There were no issues with how we left the room, just the security deposit was not transferred even after multiple reminders via chat and phone. Accounting problems were given as a cause and but no further follow-up/updates from the host. We eventually reached out to the Booking.com customer support and raised a complaint. After this, the security deposit was returned within a day of the complaint. This whole thing could have been avoided if the host could use card details maintained on booking.com or been more responsive regarding the deposit.

• Nicole (8/5): Time saver - It was super close to everything so we didn't have to spend a ton on ubers and taxis, and very spacious! The blinds weren't very good at keeping the light out so it was a bit hard to sleep
• Kerry (8/5): Was a good experience. - Location was great and unit was comfortable. Getting and returning the key was done in away I haven’t used before. Also I would recommend that you should have more we than 1 key. Mattress in the main bead room needs replacing as it sags in the middle.
