Glogov (10/5): A place that stands out - When you travel frequently (and especially when setting similar quality filters) then most accommodations tend to blur into a uniform mass from which it is later hard to distinguish their rather minute differences. With Dr Faust's place the situation was different and it still stands out quite vividly in my memory. This was due to the extraordinary hospitality of the host and the general cleanliness and atmosphere of the place. I highly recommend it for a stay in this unique town. -

christian (9/5): Mitten im Zentrum, in renovierter Wohnung - Die Kommunikation konnte sehr gut in deutsch erfolgen, war notwendig, da die Nr. für den Schlüsselsafe und die Lage der Zimmer nicht im Vorhinein bekannt waren. alles war sehr neu hergerichtet, speziell das Bad war ganz neu. Küche voll ausgestattet. Bei diesem Zimmer war der Raum mit dem Bett nur über eine Wendeltreppe erreichbar. Lage zentral, aber ruhig. Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommende. Der Schlüsselsafe war sehr schwer zu öffnen, ev. kann man das verbessern. Das Licht über dem Tisch brannte nicht oder ich habe den Schalter nicht gefunden
Gail (7/5): Okay for a night. - Liked being on the ground floor. The bathroom was a good size, and the shower was nice. Good size couch. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Space available for the beds. Host spoke great English and was easy to talk to over the phone. His housekeeper Nela let us in since he wasn't able to be here to let us in. The apartment is on a busy corner with a street lamp nearby. No blackout curtains either. The garbage truck came with its flashing lights around 5 am. and was VERY noisy. No fan above Hob nob.

Komunikácia s majiteľom bola nadštandartne skvelá, bol veľmi priateľský, pohostinný a ochotný nám poskytnúť mnoho odporúčaní o tom, čo zažiť a vidieť v okolí. Vidno, že mu na spokojnosti hostí veľmi záleží. Ubytovanie malo historickú atmosféru, bolo dokonale čisté a veľmi komfortné.

Sylva (10/5): Nádhera!👍 - Jedno z našich nejlepších ubytování v ČR. Útulné, vkusně zrekonstruované, krásný dvorek pro posezení, večeři či snídani. V lednici na nás čekalo po příjezdu víno a voda, to nás potěšilo. Pan majitel se s námi přišel osobně pozdravit a zajímal se, zda je vše v pořádku. Oáza klidu a romantiky v historickém centru Slavonic. Příště jedině sem!❤️

Michele (10/5): Perfect base for exploring the region - U Dr. Fausta was the perfect location for a weekend exploring Slavonice and Czech Canada. When we arrived, we were lucky to chat for awhile with the owner about the history of the town and some recommendations. The room was very comfortable with everything we could need.

Sarah (10/5): Peaceful, simple, modern accommodation in historic town - Beautiful rooms in recently renovated ancient building in the centre of lovely town. Simple, clean, carefully designed. Comfortable bed on upper level accessed via small spiral staircase. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Best night's sleep during our 2 week cycling trip. Excellent bike storage. Coffee and tea provided. Great communication with kind and thoughtful owner. Nothing (maybe a mirror in the bedroom would be nice?)
