• Susan (9/5): We had a wonderful time hiking and eating in this beautiful place. There were hiking poles to borrow in our apartment if - It was a great location for walking to restaurants. Clean and cozy with free parking. Lali was a was a wonderful host. We were assured we could pay by credit card. Unfortunately, their machine would not accept our Visa card despite our being able to use it all over town. We were forced to pay by cash.

She made everything easy and comfortable. We had a truly magical time in El Chalten. Muchos gracias Cynthia! Staying here may be hard without a car as her home is up high on a hill. We had a car so it wasn't a problem for us

Really, everything you need — solved. They even provided us with the baby carrier to go on a hike with our kid! Not mentioning all the piece of advice Cinthia gave us on trails, taxis, supermarkets, cafes. She even left some toys, knowing we’re with the kid! She helped us buy the entrance tickets to trails as there were some issues with our email or sth. Perfect and impeccable. Mostly feels like coming to a friend/relative but super far away from home 😀🙏🏼 impeccable! Everything’s lovely. Millions of recommendations and also thanks for the delicious alfajores when we were leaving! Will never forget your kindness. Absolutely nothing. Perfect stay! The best!

The apartment is spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable. The property is located on the edge of the town with an up slope.

Her recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and groceries were spot on. The apartment was newly remodeled so it was clean and bright. And the best part - very close to trails and town!!

Lots of great advice on how to maximize your time in El chalten. The property is clean and in a great location close to many trails. There are useful amenities at the property including a kitchen set, shower soaps and very good wifi. Had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. They did great, no complaints. I would suggest adding a blackout curtain for the bedroom.
• Jody (9/5): Excellent! - The apartment was very cozy and comfy. It is exactly the same as the photos. The showering system was perfect! We enjoyed a very hot shower after hike! The host is very nice and helpful. She provided a list of restaurants and other useful information. We had a pleasant stay! The location is somewhat hard to locate. If you don't have a car, you'll need to walk up the slopes.
• Joep (7/5): Comfortable and great communication - Communication was good and efficient with Cintia and Lolo. They are very responsive and it is easy to talk to them. The offer of keeping luggage while we were going on a hike was great! Warm welcome, good information about the apartment and the town was very useful. Responsive for additional questions (e.g. taxi to the bus station). The apartment is spacious and private. The two heaters kept the place nice and warm. The owners live upstairs/besides the apartment with young Children. Therefore there is quite some noise of running feet, playing noise, things falling and dragging of chairs at times (especially in the evening, which for us was a little tricky as we try to sleep early). The Village is developing quickly and street/ houses are still in development. The street the apartment is on, is not paved yet. Therefore you cannot roll your luggage along it for the last few 100 meters. We had a lot of heavy luggage, which made our arrival challenging. For the way back we used taxi of 6k to get to the bus station, that solved this item. Lastly, the policy of this place is 'cash only', which is stated in the policy section. Never seen this before and did not expect it. Got a note explaining this the day I could no longer cancel or change reservation (2 weeks before). In my opinion this needs to be more clearly communicated upfront and not just in the small print of the policy on booking.com (especially as getting cash in Argentina is very hard). Fortunately, they do offer Debit (4% surcharge) and Credit (6% surcharge). Also note, that in Argentina they quote in USD, but charge in ARS and use the bank exchange rate, not the actual XE.com or worldwide exchange rate (means it is more expensive than you think). Lastly, I stayed at another place in El Chalten that was a little older, but 40% of the cost and more central. Therefore, I would say that the value for money could be better. Having said that, El Chalten is incredibly pricey in general.

They were so warm, friendly and considerate regarding everything in the apartment. The apartment was so clean, warm, well equipped, had everything we needed and was in a phenomenal location with great views, access to the hikes and within walking distance of town. It was perfect for our 6 nights exploring this beautiful area. Nothing. We loved it all.

Cintia and Lolo did everything they could, far beyond expectations, to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. This brand new, beautifully furnished duplex was spotless — complete with all the comforts of home. The location was perfect, only a few hundred meters from two of the trailheads in a quiet section of town with gorgeous views of the mountains and yet within three blocks of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Most outstanding, though, was our incredible hosts! We cannot say enough good about them and their concern for us! We arrived as strangers and left as friends! Nothing
