Robert (6/5): A decent apartment but poor user experience - The positives... The apartment is nice and new, modern and clean. The on-site manager, Angelique, is lovely and very helpful, she was responsive when we had questions. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beds and linens are new and comfortable. Heating worked well, we were cozy. Kitchen is well stocked. The town is quite small and the apartment is central so everything was easily walkable (restaurants, groceries, bus station, and all the main hiking trail heads). Bathroom facilities and shower were pretty good. The booking was to be paid at the property and the listing was worded such that we understood the property took payment is USD and could be paid with credit card. After arriving we were given the option to pay USD in cash only or in local currency exchanged at an informal rate (were told it was the official bank rate but information online clearly showed it was not, but we were told it was the only rate they would offer). Our cost for the stay ended up being notably higher than the quoted amount. Had these policies been clear in the booking, we'd have either chosen a different place or come prepared to pay a different way. Exchange rates in Argentina are a little weird, but we were not happy to be surprised at the property like this. We couldn't walk away and find another place because of the non refundable cancellation policy. About the apartment itself, there is no sofa or living room, hanging out at the kitchen table is not very comfortable. The wifi routers are in central locations, the apartment itself did not have a dedicated router. As a result the wifi connectivity was inconsistent and slow when it connected. It's not a hentai service issue because all the restaurants in town had great internet. We were not able to use our normal streaming services. Our mobile data kept kicking in when the wifi connection flickered in and out and we ended up using a fair amount of mobile data while there. We needed to do laundry while there but they weren't able to supply a drying rack so we had to hang laundry over chairs and coat hooks.

Francesca (3/5): - Our experience was negatively affected by how a situation after check-out was handled. We were not given any clear check-out instructions, so we left the apartment around 7:15 AM and returned the keys to the keybox, as is commonly done. Shortly after, we left the property and can fully document our departure (taxi and bus). Later, we were informed—based on security camera footage—that other people had entered the apartment, and we were held responsible for this. This was very surprising and unfair. The same cameras should clearly show that any entry happened after we had already left and returned the keys. At that point, we no longer had any control over access to the property. We have no connection whatsoever to those individuals. We also want to point out that the day before, people from another apartment entered ours without permission while we were inside, which we immediately reported. We believe this situation should have been checked more carefully before making such accusations. Overall, this was handled in an inappropriate way and left us with a very negative impression.

JC (8/5): Bonito, cercano a calle principal, anfitriones amables, estancia en dos pisos con escalera angosta - El baño muy funcional, esta acondicionado como departamento pues tiene utensilios de cocina, nosotros no los utilizamos pero nos parecio que puede ser de utilidad, diseño del complejo bonito y a seis minutos caminando se llega a la calle principal, amabilidad de los anfitriones, se puede dejar el equipaje mientras nos vamos del Chalten La recamara esta en primer piso y el baño en planta baja, un poco dificil subir el equipaje, por el techo a dos aguas tiene que cuidarse de no golpearse la cabeza, pocos accesorios y lugares para colgar ropa y poner equipaje

Karen (9/5): Nice apartment! - Well kept property with inviting exterior and flower garden. On a paved road, easier to walk there from bus station with suitcases. Solid construction, nice cooking facilities and pots, comfortable bed, warm with gas heater. Helpful hosts - able to borrow hiking poles to use while we were there. Much appreciated! The stove was very tricky to light, had to try 15-20 times to try to get it to stay on. Hopefully they will fix the problem! Stairs to the loft were steep, especially the top two steps- descend carefully!

Las camas, poco cómodas. El agua caliente de las duchas, al cabo de cierto tiempo comienza a salir fría. Alcanza para bañarse, pero no para un baño relajante después de una extensa jornada de trekking.

Very good! - We arrived a couple of hours before check in time and the owner, allowed us to store our bags in the office. The place is very nice, fenced, nice garden and very close to trailheads and restaurants.

La zona es muy buena y la comunicación con el anfitrión fue fluida y amable en todo momento. Es un lugar donde se está realmente bien, con todo lo necesario para una estancia sin preocupaciones. Tras cancelarnos nuestro alojamiento original a última hora, Booking nos reubicó aquí y asumió la diferencia de precio, lo cual agradecemos mucho porque el sitio es excelente. Como punto "negativo" (por decir algo), es que por nuestra cuenta no habríamos elegido este sitio debido a su alto precio. Es un alojamiento fantástico, pero solo apto para presupuestos elevados si no es a través de una reubicación.

Miers (10/5): Excelente ubicación y vista, estadía muy confortable - El hospedaje fue muy lindo y muy cómodo. Contaba con todo lo necesario para cocinar y la vista, fue espectacular. La ubicación es un punto muy fuerte: se encuentra cerca del centro, se puede llegar caminando a todos lados y está a unas ocho cuadras de la terminal, lo cual resulta muy práctico. En la zona hay varios lugares para comer y también algunas tiendas para comprar, lo que hace que la estadía sea muy cómoda. Como único detalle a tener en cuenta, la cama del segundo piso está ubicada en un altillo, con el techo bastante bajo. Si bien es cómoda, el espacio puede resultar un poco reducido.

Marcela (10/5): PUEBLO MARAVILLOSO - DPTO EXCELENTE - Es un dpto super equipado, la ubicación es excelente, y las instalaciones son inmejorables, super completo, tuvimos solo que pedir un abre latas ya que se ve lo habían sacado huéspedes anteriores, pero el resto es super completo y muy limpio, se nota que esta todo nuevo y muy cuidado. Volvería sin dudas. Dante es muy buen anfitrion están disponibles para cualquier duda. Lo único ni siquiera malo fue que en el ingreso que decía a partir de las 13hs tuvimos que ingresar 13.30 ya que estaban demorados en la limpieza porque los huéspedes que se iban lo hicieron mas tarde, encima el día era lluvioso y llegamos re temprano, pero nos cuidaron las valijas al ingreso y a la salida también. Por otro lado el wifi anda muy mal, pero creo que es un tema de la zona, a menos que tengas antena STARLINK no funciona en ningún lugar del chalten.

Mª Jesus (9/5): Muy bien - Apartamento muy nuevo, limpio,bonito,calentito y dueños muy agradables. No pongo un 10 porque le faltaba un pequeño sofá .
Armenio (8/5): Very good stay - The apartment is very well equipped, specially the kitchen. The bed was comfortable. The shower water pressure is amazing! The bed sheets had hair, but they were promptly changed. The kitchen heating was super hot and since the regulator valve was broken we couldn't turn it off. Eventually the apartment heating was completely turned off.
Alba (10/5): Excelente elección:) - Trato súper amable, sitio muy práctico y cómodo, muy limpio. Son excelentes los dueños! Muy bien ubicado, te ofrecen descuentos para restaurantes ricos, y tienen mate y yerba en el departamento! Unos genios!!

Gabriel (9/5): מקום טוב במחיר טוב ובמיקום מצויין. - המיקום, בעל הבית שנתן שירות מצוין - היה זמין לכל דבר, הבית מאובזר עם כל מה שנדרש. הדבר היחיד שהיה פחות מוצלח היו המדרגות לקומת החדר- מדרגות צפופות ומעט מסוכנות.

Recibimos ayuda para orientarse en los paseos, para dejar maletas en recepción, pedir taxi, etc. Siempre muy buena disposición. Nada en particular

Michał (10/5): - W mieszkaniu było bardzo czysto. W mieszkaniu była bardzo dobrze wyposażona kuchnia z nowym sprzętem AGD. Było to dla nas ważne ponieważ sami gotowaliśmy śniadania i kolacje.

Diana (10/5): Recomendable - El depto tiene todas las comodidades y detalles. Es muy cómodo. La ducha y el baño en general funciona muy bien. Tiene buena ventilación. En la habitación hay muchos lugares para acomodar las cosas. El comedor es muy cómodo y tiene vista al Fitz Roy. Todo funciona Excelente. Lo recomiendo.
