Kitchen was fully operational. Response time was slow. We did not get the city paas the day we came in. Only 1 washroom for 5 ppl.
• Lorenzo (8/5): The perfect, no-frills home base for hikers and budget-conscious travelers who prioritize a killer location over fancy a - I’ll be honest, I saw a lot of mixed reviews online and had my doubts about booking this place at first. But after staying here, I think it’s a fantastic option depending on what you’re looking for! The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes’ walk from the Interlaken West train station. If you’re like me and spend your entire day out hiking or exploring the mountains, this is a total win. I really only used the room for the basics, showering and sleeping, so I didn't need anything fancy. While I can see where some of the more critical comments are coming from, you have to keep expectations realistic. If you're looking for a budget stay or are traveling as a group of students, this is it! The stay was great overall, though there are a couple of things that could make it even better. The room could really use some sturdier curtains to help block out the light, and I noticed a few spots that could use some minor maintenance. It’s nothing that ruined the trip, but a little bit of upkeep would definitely go a long way in making the space feel more refreshed!

I used the shared one in the hallway because the one in the appartment had mold on the ceiling, and behind the toilet. The light sensor was broken, plugsockets were broken, shower leaked, ventilation inadequate and the smell was horrible.

• Vitalij (6/5): - Die Umgebung ist schön, alle Geschäfte sind in der Nähe, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar, und viele liegen auch nicht weit mit dem Auto Leider entsprach die Wohnung nicht unseren Erwartungen. Sie war schmutzig!. Die Küche war veraltet, das Geschirr alt, und Gläser, insbesondere Weingläser, waren kaum vorhanden. Überall waren Ameisen, vor allem in den Zimmern und in der Küche, sodass Lebensmittel nicht unbedeckt stehen gelassen werden konnten. Zudem hatte die Wohnung einen starken, muffigen Geruch, offenbar aufgrund mangelnden Lüftens. Insgesamt war der Zustand der Wohnung enttäuschend

Ne Keine Begrüssung, Kein Personal für Auskünfte, Kurzes Tel zum Schlüssel,Sauberkeit,Elektrische Geräte die Kaput sind.Der Kühlschrank war so vereist, dass ich einen See hatte am nächsten morgen.Beim Auschecken stelle ich fest ,dass der Kühlschrank nicht Eingesteckt worden ist. Egal wieviel ein Zimmer oder ein Hotel Kostet, Sicherheit Sauberkeit Personal ist sowas von wichtig. Schlisslich Bezahle ich dafūr.und mich zu erholen.

• Hoang Duc (8/5): - The location is great because there are many nearby supermarket. The Interlaken West is also close to the house. The flat is roomy and there is lots of natural light. Be aware of walking on the street with your luggages. However, most drivers are polite and we reach the house safely.

• Christian (5/5): Für eine Nacht OK - Der Preis ist OK für 6 Betten Alte Wohnung welche schlecht ausgerüstet ist. Zudem funktionieren einige Küchengeräte nicht. Für eine Nacht OK, doch sollte man nicht auf die Küche angewiesen sein.

Sehr abgenutzt agschnittener Vorhang (Sperrmüllsofa davor) somit etwas Sichtsvhutz, zerkratzte Pfanne. Eisfach tropft in Kühlschrank. Für eine Nacht ok aber kein Urlaub.

Had to buy my own garbage bag and dishwasher liquid as host never responded. Do not recommend staying at this place
• Aya (6/5): Magic Interlaken. The room might be okay for 1 night - In general, this apartment is really very good! All facilities are provided and I see some attention to every detail in everything. You have kitchen for cooking with all facilities. The room is pretty warm which is highly important on winter time. The bed is comfortable even if Im not sure about its cleaning. The location is top (you can see mountain from your window) and can easily go on foot to the restaurants and cafes. The main problem was a smoking smell which totally ruined my night sleep in this room. I can’t stand it, I couldn’t open the window to get fresh air because it was cold on December. The hotel owner is indifferent - a couple of messages for check-in, no any clear info and any basic care. Maybe she doesn’t know English but some “could you check-in, is everything okay, let me know if something needed” might be so-so basic, I think. Pretty late check-in and early check-out so basically for 1 night you have no time to observe this magic Interlaken. Interlaken deserves more careful attention and observation.

• Ganesh sha (8/5): Good Stay and Close the railway station - stay was really good. Fully equipped kitchen and decent beds. Pillows can be a bit better, not used to that type of soft flat pillows but it was okay. There is a leak in the bathroom where after taking a bath the water was over the floor. The water coming from the shower was too hot or cold, difficult to adjust the water heating level. Management can have a look in replacing the shut off valve.

• Cindy (2/5): Total heruntergekommen und ringhörig - Die Kommunikation via Whatsapp hat gut geklapppt Leider hat die Unterkunft nicht den Bildern entsprochen. Es war sehr heruntergekommen. Dies war auf den Bildern nicht ersichtlich. Mein Zimmer war zu unterst und es war so ringhörig, dass ich jede Unterhaltung der Familie über mir gehört habe. Ich habe mich so unwohl gefühlt, dass ich nach einer Nacht die Unterkunft verlassen habe (4 Nächte gebucht). Ich wurde nicht nach einem Grund gefragt.

• Stephanie (7/5): Cheap and alright for a short stay, wouldn't recommend staying longer though. - Check in was easy after we got the code for they keys, and the flat is really quite spacious for the price! The location is also really central, it's just a short walk to the train station, the supermarket and some restaurants. Still, it's quiet because it lies in a tempo 30 zone. As mentioned in other reviews, the place is rundown. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, and the shower sadly leaked water across the bathroom floor. The water pressure in the shower was also quite low. Additionally, the whole flat smelled of take-out like it hadn't been aired before our check-in.

No communication on how to do check in, no email, no texts. No responses received to texts send through Booking.com. We had to call directly to get instructions on how to check in.
• Lutz (5/5): Sehr einfaches Zimmer in guter Lage - Freundliches Personal, so dass ich schon vor 16h "einchecken" konnte. Das Zimmer war sauber. Gute Lage wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof West. Die Türrahmen zumindest der Parterre-Zimmer sind extrem niedrig....habe mir fast zwangsläufig einmal heftig den Kopf gestoßen.... Die Dusche im (Flur) Bad hat nur kaltes Kaltwasser. Das WC ist so eng installiert, dass ich (1,85m) nicht aufrecht drauf sitzen konnte. Für eine Nacht ok. Allerdings war ich 3 Nächte dort und fand es dann trotz des für die Schweiz niedrigen Preises grenzwertig.

Ya sé que con ese precio no se puede pedir mucho pero un mínimo de limpieza eso si. Además anoche no sé que estaba pasando en el edificio que había una persona gritando (hello hello help me ) desde las 23h hasta las 2h (esa persona estaba alojada también en el edificio) así que no dormí nada.

It was a little hard to find. And the family upstairs was noisy, but that was okay. However, there was a leak in the kitchen ceiling on the last night that I was there.

• Туник (10/5): Bei mir hat alles geklappt und ich habe nichts zu beanstanden. - Das war richtig gute Zimmer für eine Nacht, war cool, und hat mir sehr gefallen, wenn komme ich noch mal wieder in Interlaken, dann gerne wieder diese Zimmer nehmen. Ich bin sehr dankbar. Was mir nicht gefallen hat war, dass es keinen Wasserkocher zum Kaffeekochen gab.
• Katja-Melanie (6/5): Ganz ok, wenn kleine Reparaturen vorgenommen werden und der Schimmel behandelt wird - Dusche, WC war im Studio. Die Matratze ist eher dünn, aber für mich eigentlich in Ordnung. Check-in: Ich wartete 30Min. auf den Schlüsselcode. Der Mann, der die Wäsche aus einem andern Zimmer holte, konnte mir nicht helfen. Die mit "Check-in" angeschriebene Klingel beantwortete niemand, Anrufe wurden weggedrückt. Auch vorgängig (Juli 25) wurde nicht auf meine Mails und whatsapp Nachrichten eingegangen. Bad: an der Decke, wie auch hinter dem WC-Deckel hat es Schimmel. Daher auch Schimmelgeruch im Zimmer., Fehlender Spühlknopf, offene Steckdose im Bad. Defekte, sehr dünne Gardinen, so dass jedes Auto ins Studio blendete. Vor dem Fenster mit dem zerrissenen Vorhang steht ein Sofa, so konnten wenigstens die Nachbarn nicht ins Studio blicken. Die Küchenzeile habe ich nicht ausprobiert.

• Shaikh (2/5): Not recommended at all. - Location Dirty villa with spider webs and very low lights, seems haunted at night. Not recommended for families.
• Laura (6/5): Ok for a budget short stay - Having a private room with some basic cooking facilities. Bonus being able to cook! Location is short walk from main town. The bathroom was awkwardly shaped and very damp. The main door is left wedged wide open and unlocked, other guests were very loud in the evening with music. Location sent initially was wrong, staff weren’t overly helpful to begin with in sharing correct location so was waiting in another hotel entrance as was bad weather on arrival.

• Gurpal Singh Chahal (4/5): disappointing - the location of the property is good, its like 5 mins walking to the train station. Our experience at this property was very disappointing. There were no clear instructions for check-in, and when we arrived, there was nobody at the property. We stood outside with our parents for over an hour, repeatedly calling but receiving no response. Eventually, a housekeeping staff member showed up and told us to return after two more hours because the rooms were not ready. The property itself is very old and poorly maintained. The kitchen was dirty, the linen was not clean, and overall hygiene standards were far below expectations. On top of that, despite asking multiple times, we were not provided with the local guest pass that every visitor is entitled to. The host did not respond to our messages either, which made the stay even more frustrating. Overall, we would not recommend this place— both the service and the property were far below acceptable standards.
