• Matthias (9/5): Overall, excellent value for money - Central location. Very close to shop an slopes. Good -sized bedrooms. Pillows a little lumpy and worn. Had to get used to the fact that the toilet had no sink and you had to go to the bathroom for washing your hands.
• Alexander (8/5): super lage und preis/leistung - preis/leistung fast unschlagbar, die lage ist perfekt mitten im ort, direkt an der piste und über dem spar wo man gleich einkaufen kann. das badezimmer war sehr groß mit 2 waschbecken. das zimmer war groß genug und gut aufgeteilt. die küche war ausreichend ausgestattet sogar mit geschirrspüler. der ausblick war im 25er zimmer perfekt auf den gamsleiten. es war keine seife vorhanden, weder in der küche noch im bad (nicht so tragisch). man hat die anderen gäste im flur gehört wenn sie vorbeigegangen sind. da es direkt an der piste war hörte man morgens den lift. bzw den skido, für mich persönlich aber alles halb so wild.

• Martin (10/5): Gerne wieder - Alles wie beschrieben und abgebildet, sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Wir konnten den Parkplatz bereits am Vormittag benutzen und nicht erst ab 15 Uhr wie beschrieben.

• Svend Erik (9/5): - Beliggenheden er fantastisk. 50 meter fra en lift og en Spar i stueetage. Masser af steder med udlejning af ski m.m. lige ved siden af. Ligger tæt på alt.

• Claudius (7/5): - Unkompliziertes Einchecken, durften sogar morgens bei Anreise in das Apartment obwohl offiziel erst ab 16.00 Uhr. Unterkunft direkt am Lift. Sparmarkt direkt im Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes. Preise allgemein im Skigebiet, Skipass, Gastronomie zu hoch.
• Iwona (10/5): Świetne miejsce na tygodniowe wakacje z rodziną latem. Blisko wszystkich atrakcji. - Świetnie położony obiekt. Na parterze sklep spożywczy. W odległości 5 min piekarnia. Komfortowe łóżka. Przemiła właścicielka. Super strefa saun. A okolica ... szkoda że odkryliśmy jej uroki dopiero ostatniego dnia. Na pewno wrócimy . Austria nas urzekła. Wszystko było ok.
• Regina (10/5): Top und sehr zu empfehlen - Einfach alles. Das Appartement war super schön und super sauber. Meine Tochter und ich konnten jeden Abend die Sauna genießen. Der Kontakt zur Eigentümerin (?) war super nett. Da gibts nichts zu sagen
• Yan (10/5): I recommend it, a wonderful place! - Very clean. Large and spacious apartments. Has everything you need. There is a shop in the same building, on the ground floor, very convenient. Personal parking space. The dishwasher didn't smell good because it seemed to have been closed for a long time. We wanted to drink coffee in the morning, but the coffee machine hadn't been cleaned of scale. If you fix these little things, it will be just great.

• Francesco (10/5): Excellent - Wonderful holiday at Appartament Christophorus in Obertauern. A special thanks to the staff and especially to Mrs. Doriana, always helpful and caring, who made our stay truly special. The places are stunning, even better than the Dolomites, which are now too crowded. Austria is still a hidden gem, with breathtaking landscapes and very welcoming people. Highly recommended! The only little drawback is that the supermarket downstairs closes too early, at 1:00 p.m. — but of course this doesn’t depend on the staff 😂

• Miroslav (9/5): - výhled do krásně zeleného svahu, pro nás dobrá lokalita - bez přejíždění autem jsme mohli vyrážet na výšlapy celých 6 dní přímo z domu, supr sauna v ceně (vzhledem k menšímu počtu hostů v létě stačilo napsat pani domácí den předem, že druhý den chceme do sauny, která pak byla vyhřátá od tří do osmi) být kuchyňská linka o trochu větší, bylo by to za deset!
• Alexander (9/5): Perfect for a weekend away and good price. - We were here for a weekend in summer for the trail marathon. Perfect apartment with a well equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the winter garden out the front. Despite being just off the main road through Obertauern the apartment was quiet. Also the host is a former Austrian snowboarding champion 😀 Minor gripe, you had to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom.

If you’re visiting on a December weekend, the Tauren Advent market is conveniently just across the street. 🖤 The wellness facilities were really nice, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the staff was absolutely lovely. We will definitely return!

• Gergely (7/5): We got our money's worth, but mainly because of the location and friendliness, not the room itself. - The location of the guesthouse is excellent. Right in the middle of Obertauern with a wondrous view of the mountains. We could also enjoy the view in the little semi-walled part of the room, which had a 2-person sofa, a chair, and a coffee table. That was our favorite part of the room. The room came with the facilities and amenities advertised. The host was very kind and helpful as well, and there was an option to pay the city tax preemptively by bank transfer, which we prefer to cash. The room was clean and spacious, with lots of storage space, and a nice, clean bathroom. The hosts also provided some coffee pods to use with their pod machine, which was a kind gesture. Their messaging was very clear too - they made an effort to communicate in clear and understandable English, which we appreciated, as we don't speak German too well. They also told us that there would be no one at the reception, but we ended up meeting one of the hosts, who helped us retrieve the keys from the lockbox, which was a kind gesture as well. For us, the sleeping situation was the worst. First of all, there was only one pillow given per person, which was quite uncomfortable. Second, we visited during summertime, which meant the Sun rises early. This was an issue because the curtains didn't do a great job of blocking sunlight. Furthermore, since the room was located right above the store, there was quite a bit of foot traffic and chatter in the early hours. Then, our other gripe was that some basics were missing. For example, soap in the bathroom or dish soap in the kitchen. There was a dishwasher with 4 tablets to use, but sometimes you want to wash certain things by hand. I think this latter issue could be chalked up to the hosts, on the whole, feeling like they did not exactly anticipate guests to come over the summer. I understand that Obertauern is mostly famous for its winter activities, but if you choose to offer service during the summer, that experience should not be subpar. This unpreparedness was further expressed by drilling noises and a general atmosphere of "you came at a time when we do our yearly maintenance". Another small issue we had was the kitchen and the size of the kitchen counter, which had the width of one kitchen cloth folded in half for you to work on. We didn't expect much, and we did get perfectly working equipment (microwave, electric hobs, 2 kinds of coffee makers, dishwasher, etc.), but there were no spices, no aluminum foil, and no oven.
• Todd (9/5): Spaceous accomodation for 4-5 persons, 5 minute walk from next lift. Supermarket on ground floor! - The appartment was spaceous, with each of the two sleeping rooms having a winter garden with seating and table. The kitchen, while small, was very functional and allowed us to prepare evening meals in instead of us needing to go out to eat. The depth of the shelves above both wash basins in the bathroom in combination with how close to the wall the wash basins were made washing ones face without a facial wash cloth (not provided) difficult. Pack wash cloths!

• Michal (9/5): Superb - Roomy apartment with a well-equipped kitchen. Clean bathroom, comfy beds. Nice view from windows as well as from the practical terrace/ covered balcony. Nice location- apartment is a good "base camp" for trekking around. In summer good parking possibilities next to the apartment. Shopping just in the same house (SPAR). The kitchen was missing good knives (I used my own).

The drying room for gear was great, there was a supermarket directly underneath, the view was fantastic, beds comfortable and room was clean and warm. I liked everything.. a spa pool would have topped it off to be absolutely exceptional, and maybe a wee toaster oven.

• Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Lady at desk incredibly helpful. Lovely apartment (13) with view of the street as well as the closest lift. Short stroll from most of the bars, restaurants and shops as well as ski schools. Perhaps 100m from closest lift. The room arrangement is perhaps not the most efficient but there was room for the 5 of us to relax. The kids are 15, 12 and 9 and had enough room with 2 sharing a double bed though I think another sofa could have also been a sofa-bed if necessary. Beds not the most comfortable and pillows not amazing

Spa should work longer (instead until 20h - until 22h will be perfect, to have fresh towel for every day in sauna and bademantel will be just perfect
