We would stay here again if we come back to Nelson Bay. All windows were shut so we felt a little lack of fresh air in the hot summer, especially in the bedrooms.

• Rebecca (10/5): Perfect central location, we enjoyed our stay, will rebook in the future! - Clean, host was fast at responding, perfect central location close to beach and short work to the marina. Kids loved the toy box and Nintendo!

• Jayne (6/5): Pleasant - Unfortunately the property smelt and living room furniture very tired and in need of replacing - window blinds dirty and going black. Kitchen had broken units and smelt of smoke (downstairs flat?) washroom downstairs shared but very dirty area. On a plus, the bedrooms were clean and bathroom was reasonably new and layout good with separate toilet and bath/shower area. The location was also good.

• Max (10/5): I Highly recommend the accomodation and area. - The property is well maintained with all the all the comforts of home available. A few minutes walk to a family friendly beach, piers for fishing and a boat ramp. The beach was never crowded and had a good vibe. Despite storms and a blackout when we arrived everything worked out. The came by to welcome us and provided candles the first night. The local RSL had its own generator so we managed to get a good feed. The next day the power was back on and the hosts offered us an extra day stay which was great. There’s multiple shopping areas locally and in Salamander Bay and plenty of beach options a short drive away. Nothing

The kitchen was full of essentials amongst other things to make our stay easy and enjoyable Nelson Bay had a big thunderstorm on our last night and a blackout occurred and we remained without electricity until our check out the next morning. Not the property’s fault

• George (10/5): Fantastic - Very well kept property. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our holiday and it was refreshing to have a place to stay that was very well set up and looked after. Everything was in good working order.

Ceiling fans were very effective at cooling. Access to a washing machine and dryer downstairs was very helpful. Host was very responsive.

The location is central to all the local haunts/beaches. 15 mina beautiful walking trail all the way to the marina for rock wall fishing, marine activities, markets etc .Little Beach is less than 5 mins walk away and gorgeous beach- fantastic spot for night fishing . the bedrooms are huge and the beds - most comfortable bed I have ever had . My teenage sons loved theirs as well. Bathroom facilities well appointment and the shower- amazing. The kitchen is small but packs a punch being well stocked. Really appreciated this as mentioned I cooked every meal - breakfast to dinner. Weber BBQ an excellent add on , although found it easier to use the stovetop and pans. The addition of the Nintendo was a pleasant surprise and a hit for my teenagers. WIFI was a saviour in keeping teenagers occupied and not in my way :) Living room is a huge space with sitting for 4 and enough room for the family. Instructions for access to the property well set out. Nothing worth mentioning .

• Sean (7/5): Overall it was well worth a stay and visit to this beautiful part of NSW. - Great location - one street back from Little Beach and nice and quiet. Good quality beds and new bathroom. Cutlery could have done with some attention - not enough cereal bowls, no bottle opener or bbq scraper/ cleaner. Cleaning could be better - hadn't been cleaned under the beds and found a lighter down the back of the couch.

• Tang (7/5): Good - The location of the accommodation is very good, close to the beach, the environment is very comfortable.The house's kitchen utensils are complete and very satisfying. The house is on the first floor, and the laundry room is on the ground floor, which is very inconvenient. The sound insulation of the house is relatively poor, and only one toilet is not enough.

• Duane (9/5): Exelent place to stay, i will definately be booking this place again. - ease of getting the keys without having to go anywhere else, the place has been renovated just recently and the whole place had a great feel to it. close to all shops, club, restaurants, the beach on both side of the head land. even better the boat ramp is within walking distance. The only ONE thing i would say, the door to the balcony needs a handle. The key is not sufficient enough to close the door properly as i found out when i went to close it and it slammed shut.
