• Nešporová (8/5): Skvělé bylo, že kousek od domu byla zastávka MHD a snadno jsme se dostali až k pláži v Puntaneras. - Yazmín byla velmi ochotná, komunikovala velmi dobře, poradila nám s mnoha věcmi a byla moc milá. Děkujeme. Místo bylo trochu hlučnější. Je u silnice, takže brzy ráno už je provoz a o víkendu tam byla nějaká zábava dlouho do noci.

• Jean-Marc (9/5): - Très propre, Mario est accueillant. Place de stationnement. Il y a une plage à distance de marche (pas la plus belle mais avec des vagues et du sable). Le fait qu’il n’y ait pas d’eau chaude n’est absolument pas un problème, c’est de l’eau tiède.

• Gabe (9/5): Great place to crash for the night - Perfect place to spend the night with the family in two rooms. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were good, the host was very friendly and helpful. Took a minute to find it, and fortunately happened to catch someone walking past who could help me out. Not necessarily anyone's fault, just wasn't quite sure what I was looking for.

• Bonafide (10/5): Great for a Short stay- close to Dekra - This was a great little cabina or apartment, very clean, comfortable bed, secure parking, they were kind to check me in very late.. this isnt a vacation area of puntarenas, but it was exactly what i needed for my overnight Dekra stay. Close to El Roble. Even tho i didnt cook- it had a very well stocked kitchen. Everything was perfect.

• Robin (8/5): Very pleasant, but in a strange location. 🤔 - Clean, spacious and comfortable. Very accommodating owner. The air conditioning wasn't dehumidifying properly. This may well be a temporary issue that is now resolved? If on foot it wasn't close restaurants or bars. The Malibu was a good recommendation... but a twenty minute walk away. The photo is of the nearby beach. Which is obviously not in the control of the property... and is not a reflection on them!

They cooked a delicious dinner (the best I tried in CR so far) and tasty breakfast. This lace is on the first place by comfort and friendly owners in CR so far :)
• Zuzana (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice appartement,well equipped, clean, with a very kind host, on demand ready to prepare supper or breakfast - we choosed the breakfast,which was very tasty. The place is perfect for one night while travelling from mountains to the Pacific. a little bit noisy, because of the location near the main road
• J.p. (8/5): Wonderful host, delicious meals. - The host was wonderful, very friendly, and made a delicious Costa Rican style fish dinner. One of our best meals of the trip. Other than a few safety complaint the room was comfortable and clean with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen area. The AC blew cold. The beach access is blocked off, so this isn't really beach front property. There is no fire escape, if the place caught fire you would burn alive. I wasn't super comfortable with this but I guess it's quite typical in Latin America. Our room had no windows, and a key was required to leave the property.

• Donna (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comfortable. Lots of detail to decorating, very cute apartment. The dinner was outstanding, brought right to our table. She even brought us wine glasses for the wine we brought. The next morning she brought us coffee (offered us breakfast but we don't eat breakfast). Very friendly couple. They even brought our car into the garage for us. There was a little highway noise but it didn't keep us awake. Would have liked to have a night light for middle of the night navigating to bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom light if (which automatically turns on a fan) so that my husband (who is mobility challenged) could safely get to and from the bathroom. No hot water for the shower was a bit uncomfortable because my husband has sensitivity issues to cold water.

• Robyn (9/5): Excellent value and very nice hosts - Hosts Jazmine and her husband were welcoming and very helpful. The apartment is in a rural part of town but we felt very safe. We parked our car in their garage and they let us use their washer machine. Excellent value for the price. All the basics in the kitchen. No hot water in the shower. We are finding that this is quite common in Costa Rica but just in case that is a deal breaker for others. Water not freezing.
• Mangini (9/5): Cute and great hosts - Hosts are great. Fed us and took us to a grocery store. Let us park a car inside. Room was spacious, AC worked. Kitchen was a nice plus. Bathroom was big and shower was great. We weren't able to walk to a restaurant very easily. My kids are little and we can't walk far.
• Mwstebbins (8/5): Basic Needs but Comfortable - Jasmin and her partner are nice people; they are very welcoming and accommodating. The place is comfortable and has the basics for one's needs. 1. The AC needs fixing. 2. The kitchen has no stove.

• Alison (10/5): Super friendly hosts at a small but well-kitted out flat, convenient for boat trips to Isla Tortuga - Our hosts were very kind and welcoming. We have stayed in a number of different places in Costa Rica, but this proved to be one of the most memorable. We enjoyed walking round the streets nearby in the evening seeing the locals sitting outside their casitas, kids playing football barefoot and old men at games of dominoes, and feeling that we were seeing something of local life. A little tricky to locate initially, but worth the effort.
• Claire (10/5): Yasmin is the best host - Jasmin is such a charming and gracious host. And she made us an excellent Costa Rican breakfast. And there’s a great restaurant in walking distance—Malibu. It’s really too close to the road but otherwise well located.

I stayed at here lovely house because it’s super close to the hospital where my son was hospitalized. The studio is super comfortable and made my stay in Puntarenas so much less stressful. I will definitely come back here every time I have to stay overnight in Puntarenas. Yasmín thanks for everything. i liked everything
• Walsh (10/5): A perfect stay with wonderful hosts who showed us a side of Costa Rica we would never have found. - Our stay at Casa victoria has been truly amazing. The hosts, Yazmin and Mario, are naturally hospitable and accommodating. You can feel that they genuinely just love what they do and so they offer exceptional service without even trying. The accommodation is clean and tidy, with little details thought of to make your stay easy and comfortable. We didn’t need to ask anything of them as everything was already taken care of. Asking them what we could do in the area, they offered more possibilities than we had the time or money for. We opted for the abandoned goldmine trip, and spent the day with them both. It didn’t feel like we were with hosts as they were so genuine and friendly it really felt like we were just spending a day out with our friends. We really had the best time, and if we ever visit Costa Rica again, we will absolutely stay with Yazmin and Mario again. Unfortunately the area surrounding casa Victoria is a poor neighbourhood and does not feel very safe to be in unless in the bright daytime. but the hosts drove us everywhere we needed to go.

• Jesse (10/5): heartwarming - we absolutely loved our experience at casa victoria , the first thing we noticed when we arrived was the warm-hearted smile of yasmine (host) that lead to a very personalise care fill with love and little attention that made the whole journey exeptionel . the place was very clean and gorgeous with a lot to offer for any kind of travellers . Mario the chef offered us the best food you can get in costa rica fully customized to our special needs . there so much to say about those two incredible humans there are both true gems and recommend anybody to stay there. wish we stayed longer

• Patricia (8/5): Very good - I arrived and was hungry and Mario cooked me an amazing meal. Who knew that I had my own private chef (he actually is a chef) that came with my stay. He also made a beautiful breakfast while I watched and listened to the birds on their balcony. Awesome coffee! Also when I found out the bus was not traveling to my next location my hosts Yasmin and Mario offered to take me themselves. They made the drive scenic and stopped off in a few vista's to take it all in. Even packed some amazing local fruit to snack on for the journey. Great hosts! Chester the dog is also a wee bonus.
• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Jasmine and her husband were absolutely wonderful. They really made me feel welcome. The apartment was spotless. Inside parking. It's not on the beach (near) and a 10 minute drive to Puntarenas, but I highly recommend staying here and using it as your base. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely go back. Very good service and room for the price
