- Craig (10/5): - Amazing host and a beautiful little scenery, very happy!
- Peter (7/5): Clean, convenient and comfortable. - Friendly, helpful host. Clean, tidy, well provisioned and comfortable unit. Close to town. It was a bit difficult to locate. The entrance is off a side street.

- Madeleine (1/5): I won’t be booking with “Linda” again as the experience was the worst of my life. We did not stay there and suggest that - The price. Only we paid for literally a room within a house that a bunch of other people were also staying in. It is advertised as an apartment. It is far from that. The host was rude, didn’t introduce herself on arrival and while we were in a conversation she noticed and commented on my kids in the car and said they aren’t to stay there, they’re not allowed. The booking never advertised this nor did she even consider approaching that in more respectful way. She was demanding and dismissive on the phone call organising to return the key. And every time we were trying to have a conversation with her she was on a phone call or speaking to other people she was checking in at the same time. Very in genuine and we felt unsafe.
- Mitchell (8/5): Very good -
- Steffen (8/5): Had a good time, nice place! - Had a well needed few days rest & the place was just the perfect choice for it! Tracy was very kind to me and told me a few tips regarding some places around the area! -
- Green (3/5): Poor - Location & style of the house & room. Bed was way too hard & no air conditioning.
- Ryan (1/5): This was without a doubt the worst booking.com experience I’ve ever had. - This was without a doubt the worst booking.com experience I have ever had.
When I checked into this room all of the PowerPoints/appliances were off and the fridge door was wide open leaving a musky odour.
I tried to turn the air conditioner on to cool the room down after a 30+ degree day and it wouldn’t work. I sent a text message to the host asking “does this aircon work” to which she replied “no, sorry.”
Naturally, I assumed it was also turned off at the wall like the rest of the appliances so I followed the cord to find it was simply unplugged. I plugged it in, turned it on and it worked. Brilliant! This worn out room is now worth what I paid for it.
…Fast forward to 9:45pm as I’m falling asleep and she messages me saying that the police are on their way because I broke the house rules!?
I scanned the listing five times over and there is ZERO information about the property not having an aircon, ZERO information about the aircon being broken, ZERO information about the aircon not being ‘allowed’, or the aircon being ‘dangerous’ to use for risk of shorting the electricity, etc. All of which this host claimed was “clearly written on the website.”
I took screen shots and screen recordings of ‘Host information’, ‘facilities and services’, ‘property description’ and ‘important information’ to prove that she neglected her duty to inform potential guests of these ‘rules’ that do not exist.
She called and told me to leave and that she would be coming over to remove me in 5 minutes. It was nearly 10pm at this point!! I consider this exchange to have escalated to the point of blatant harassment.
I was in town for hospital treatment and got barely any sleep over this ridiculous ordeal.
I asked multiple times if she would refund or compensate for disturbing my stay because her obvious mistake and she never showed a shred of care or responsibility. Just pathetic. Stay as far away from this place as possible!
- Shannon (7/5): Good -
- Geoffrey (1/5): I didn't feel safe here. You won't either. Check out other bad reviews. - I did not feel safe staying in a dimly lit room. What was the host hiding? I inspected the room within 10 minutes of booking. It wasn't anything like the advertisement. The host refused a refund.
- Jacob (8/5): Great hospitality shown by the host :) The place was clean and tidy. Short easy walk to country bank stadium. Would book - Very close to the city.
- Natasha (7/5): Nice little cottage/bungalow stay with lovely host but unfortunately not the best value for money - Very comfy bed and pillows. Loved that it was like a little cottage with different rooms, had a very homely feel to it. Host was so friendly and welcoming, I had to make a last minute booking as my flight was cancelled late at night and she kindly let me check in after 11pm. Also provided a delicious and generous breakfast. Also thought it was a nice touch to include books and DVDs. Wasn’t as clean as it could be (there was a giant dead cockroach on the ground next to the toilet), the hot water didn’t work properly and I thought it wasn’t the best value for money as my one night stay was very expensive.
- Dwayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ketchup (5/5): Passable -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - While the property is an older one the location and hospitality more than made up for it
Host was wonderful and full of local knowledge
- Tickell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (1/5): Bad -
- Christine (1/5): It’s the worst place I have ever stayed at with no exceptions. - Well it was advertised with breakfast and if you call a hot fridge with no milk and a stale old jar of rice bubbles left on the bench breakfast, because that’s what it was. I told the host I was leaving early in the morning, so she sent a text at 8.30 and I left at 6.00am so no breakfast, very bad service. It was very very over priced $414.00 for one night and not even a proper kitchen and she even offered to cancel it with no refund as she had it booked 3 times for the same night! Then I could of slept in my car!!! She is a very very greedy person and takes advantage of people.
