It was a cosy apartment and we enjoyed our week there. So good to have a washer and drier in the unit; very helpful! Car park was secure and safe. Good gym (albeit a bit small, but definitely helpful and I enjoyed using it). Pool looked gorgeous (was too cold for us but we wished we could’ve used it). Such an easy walk to The Wharf. Lovely, lovely, lovely staff :) Wifi service was AWFUL; free wifi at the local shopping centres was even better. It was quite a noisy location (heaps of noisy boy racers around, and even conversations from other guests travelled quite loudly to us all hours of the day and night). The worst part was that we ended up being too scared to have decent showers and to cook anything because the smoke/heat alarms were super sensitive and if you accidentally set off the alarms from steam from your shower you’d have to pay $1400 for a callout fee for the fire service (understandable, but it affected our stay. We had planned to cook a lot at the start of our trip but didn’t want to risk setting the alarms off! So ended up with microwave meals and non-cooked meals instead. Unit was fairly dated (which we didn’t really mind), but that probably made it cheaper than some other places.

• HolidayReviews82 (2/5): - Location Check-in was fast and simple. We booked a two-bedroom unit with a rooftop hot tub and BBQ area, and we were really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub for my birthday. Unfortunately, when we tried to access the rooftop area, the key wouldn’t work in the gate. I called reception and was told someone would come to the room in 20 minutes. I tried the key in the neighbouring gate and it worked, so I realised we had likely been given the wrong key. Wanting to save time, I took the key down to reception. The staff member sternly insisted he would come to the room to “show us how to use the key.” I explained I was only trying to save time and that we clearly had the wrong key. After checking it himself, he admitted we had been given the incorrect key and swapped it over. The new key worked, which was great, but the problems didn’t stop there. After turning on the hot tub and getting in, I kept finding long black hairs floating in the water and getting caught on my fingers. There was also a film and debris floating on top, along with gritty sand-like residue on the bottom. The following morning, while we were out at breakfast, I received a message stating that “it appears there may have been an additive put into the pool” and reminding us to remove sand, salt water, and sunscreen before entering. I found this message extremely disappointing and accusatory, especially since we had both showered before using the spa and had not been to the beach or applied anything to our skin. Later that day, when we turned the hot tub back on, large amounts of bubbles formed on the surface. The bubbles were full of black hair and a grey film, and we had to repeatedly scoop the foam off the top before it settled down. On top of this, the overall cleanliness of the unit was poor. There were hairs in the shower and long black hairs throughout the room, food smears on the fridge handle, and the rangehood filter above the stove was heavily caked in oil.

• Kathryn (9/5): Very happy in the end - Location Was given a key for apartment 41 and the card said level 4 only to find out that 41 is on level 3 and had to ask other residents for help as was a pub hol and office closed So I worked it out in the end as the access was for level 3 as well which was where apartment 51 was located

Dark black hair on top of bedding. Blanket in cupboard was not folded to a hotel standard and dust behind bedside tables. Air con doesn't reach bedrooms. Shower holder for body wash and contioner was hanging by one rusted screw.

• Ian (10/5): - Our stay exceeded our expectations. Great communication and welcoming staff. Super easy parking. Fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Clean self-contained unit and a comfy bed. Having a rooftop unit with its own private spa was awesome it really made for a relaxing getaway for me and my partner. Hard to find any issues with our stay, If I had to pick something the fan in the main bedroom was a bit wobbly and noisy. It's an older resort but everything else it offers outweighs this, we will come back again!

• Evelyn (4/5): - I love Nautilus Resort, I've stayed multiple times, it's easy to navigate and always good communication from the staff. Beautiful place Unlike any of my previous stays at nautilus, the room we had was tiny.. could barely move around properly due to the table in the living area. Really disappointing view/balcony. Wifi didn't work. It's usually a lovely and positive, relaxing feel with beautiful vibes but it was just not like that at all this time.
