- Faysal (10/5): It was awesome - It was near to the IGA, property was clean and spacious I love everything, if you can add a lock in the toilet that would be great
- Stephen (7/5): -
- Darren (9/5): - Great stay would book again on next trip.
- VISHNUPRASAD (10/5): - Really nice place. Gavin was so understanding of the issues that could happen in a long drive, and wholeheartedly changed our booking to next day without any hesitation. He was so supportive and kind. I will choose to stay at Gavins place when I am at Coober Pedy next time as well.

- Aayush (7/5): -
- Johann (John) (10/5): - Thank you for the opportunity to stay underground, quite an experience. Nothing.
- Alisha (8/5): - The place was lovely experience It was a little run down and a little dirty but main problem was how hot it got making it an uncomfortable sleep
- Isaac (9/5): -
- Jane (8/5): Lovely - Sleeping underground and a place to park the trailer
- Fiona (9/5): would recommend it - definitely value for money - great location and all the facilities you need TV isn't great reception
- Ellie (9/5): - The contact by Kevin was great. Very helpful and accommodating. Easy to find the property and there was everything we needed.
- April (1/5): Very disappointed. - I was very disappointed with our stay. The booking recommended contacting the host 1-2 days prior to get the door code. I messaged the host on booking.com and texted them twice days prior with no reply before having to call again to finally get a response. The code given was actually wrong, and we then had to call again when trying to enter. The airconditioner in the main bedroom did not work and neither did the fan in the master bedroom or the living room. Overall the stay was very disappointing with poor communication and a lack of working appliances which were advertised and one of the main reasons we booked the place - especially given the heat in coober pedy.
- Harrison (10/5): - Was very clean and spacious and staff were lovely

- Deepa (9/5): -
- Jeanette (8/5): - Location was great
- Elizabeth (10/5): Gavin went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. - Despite arriving at 6am Gavin made sure we had a spot to leave our luggage and even allowed us to check in early.

- jared (10/5): - Everything, even though the apartment is above ground the aircons keep the room cool and the size was excellent The name is misleading and I did believe I was getting an underground room
- Rochelle (8/5): -
- Leanne (10/5): Great experience of Coober pedy, I certainly loved the quietness at night. Had a few riff raf around - The underground cave bungalow was a once in a lifetime experience, felt very lucky to get the room. Had all we needed Bit old but had ever6qe news. Upstairs was a bit dated, great we had a washing machine to use and clothes which dries clothes fast
- Tara (7/5): Excellent location! We loved the experience! - Loved the location and the underground experience! We had quite a lot of issues with ants in the kitchen area, and noticed a fair bit of dust/ rocks in the 3 person bedroom.
- Seshadri (10/5): -
- Sasindu Dilshan (8/5): -
- Hermann (7/5): Cooober Pedy umderground stay - Underground stay experience, spacious bedrooms

- Terina (10/5): - It was fantastic to have a unique experience. The beds were amazing.
- Jemma (8/5): -
- Aoife (6/5): - The host was very responsive which helped in an ideal location to shops and restaurants. Cheap too No shower toiletries only a bar of soap. The house also smelled musty as if previous people had smoked.
- Meredith (8/5): Very good just what we needed - Easily accessible and close to facilities plus very quiet
- Debra (9/5): -
- Karen (9/5): - The place was massive and well maintained. Wonderful experience to sleep underground. Gavin let us in before check in time without any problem (after a long trip that’s much appreciated). Location was great just a block away from the IGA. Everything was good.
- Catharina (7/5): Cute cave Living experience Downstairs. - Had all appliances needed.
Was clean. The double beds were comfortable. 4pm check in is crap after a long day driving and all you want is a comfortable place to revive. TV reception was crap.Could only get Chanel 10. Single bed uncomfortable. Didn't like that bits of the rock ceiling kept falling down and the bits of stone hurt when you trod on them getting out of bed. Didn't realise it had stairs which made it a little difficult for someone with mobility issues. No hand towel for bathroom. Only 3 patio chairs in outside area when there are 4 people.
- Peter (8/5): Just fine. - Good size apartment. Easy walk into town. Ideal for two couples. Good parking. It was perfect for us. Nothing that I could remember.
- Lucia (8/5): - Clean rooms with good cooking facilities, well kept. Thanks Gavin for an early check-in. All good.
- Geoff (8/5): Great for an overnighter whilst travelling to and from the centre - Being underground

- Patrick (5/5): - Kettle did not work and wifi stopped working after first day. Contacted host but no response.
- Anca (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Judith (1/5): Bad - Nothing Told us we could not check in until 4.00pm.Gave us code to open door which did not work.Outside was filthy with leaking tank,,long weeds and looked like it had not had a clean for months.Left in disgust and stayed elsewhere. Booking.com should check places like this before allowing them on the sites.
- Peter (8/5): A great stay and will book here again for our return trip. - We stayed in the above/below ground unit and found it very comfortable, the unit was very clean and the bed and below ground bedroom made for a great nights sleep. Only a 2 minute walk to the well stocked IGA. The kettle didn’t work. This wasn’t a big issue for us.
- Maward55 (7/5): Good budget accommodation in Coober Pedy - The entrance is stark, but the inside is quite comfortable and cosy. Bathroom sliding door needs repair
- Kerry (8/5): Exactly what we needed. - Everything was very good. Hole in the bathroom ceiling was letting a draft in. Some dirty plates in cupboard & mirror had hand prints on it. Needs a drying clothes rack for inside during winter.
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Lucia (8/5): Very good - Neat and tidy home. Nothing all good
- Matthew (10/5): Loved it -
- Trevor (8/5): well appointed and large accomodations - Well appointed
- Jane (7/5): Good -
- Zane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amit (9/5): Superb - Cost, 2 bedroom unit. Bedroom are underground and was a good experience. Good facilities. Very comfortable house
- Courtney (8/5): Will always return! - Super close to iga, space for a family of four, space to park family car with trailer behind closed gates, place to cook dinner, great aircon/heating, towels and linen in good condition, great for a night stop over. There was a property near by smoking something horrid smelling. This kept wafting through the house even when fully shut up. This is no fault of the hosts though. Wifi didn’t work but it had only just been changed over and we had our own anyway. Shower head sprays the bathroom if you try to move it, a simple replacement and not a major issue.
- Kitty (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (10/5): We only stayed one night but would definatley stay again - Very comfortable clean.
- Heather (9/5): Happy Days - Roomy, quiet and very comfortable bed. The owner was excellent. Very friendly. Coober Pedy! Ticked it off our Becket list!
- Siguenza (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Superb - Location - a short walk to the supermarket
comfort - comfy bd and a 3 seater and 2 seater couch,
Separate kitchen, lounge and bedroom
Superbly quiet for a great nights sleep
- Kitty (9/5): Superb - Comfortable bed
In town
Lots of room
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything, great place to stay. Great communication with the owner and the cleaner. Loved the underground experience. Can't fault the place at all.
- Courtney (8/5): Always a pleasure, a safe comfortable space away from home while on the road - We are regulars at Gavin’s Cave Place Units. It is perfect for our family of four and has good heaters/aircons to keep the place comfortable. We feel right at home and have everything we need to cook a basic meal when we have been on the road all day. Being literally down the court from the local IGA is a huge flex and makes it easy to grab the essentials with a 1 minute stroll. Couldn’t get into property but Gavin very promptly rectified situation. The Telstra tv has been decommissioned but could be good if a Google chrome or Apple TV (some sort of smart tv device) would be good for travellers to log into their streaming services to relax and watch tv as they unwind in this lovely property after a long day.
- Lynne (7/5): Good - Have stayed before and found it adequate Weather very cold and air conditioning was inadequate for the space involved
- Deb (10/5): Exceptional - Really quirky ..super comfortable..Fantastic owner and staff everything you need and more Nil
- Suzanne (5/5): Passable -
- Lance (7/5): Good - No breakfast My brother
- Deb (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and cute semi underground. Very accommodating owner Nil
- Nada (6/5): Pleasant - No breakfast. Location good The unit was tidy but the floors were dirty. They needed a vacuum as nuisance had to wear shoes inside as kept stepping on dirt. Maybe even a mop
- Karen (5/5): Comfy beds, easy access - Not entirely clean. Bathroom, floors
- Hedley (9/5): Superb - Gavin was a responsive host - particularly with our last minute booking. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and great value for money. Recommended!
- Debra (8/5): Very good - Needs airconditioning in the second bedroom...
- Jason (5/5): Passable - Great amount of space and to experience the underground life.
It's a shame as a lot of small things make this stayess than it could be. Toilet paper,.about 1/4 of a roll on rail, 1 in cupboard is not enough for a family of 4 leading to an unexpected IGA trip. At least provide 2 full rolls!
Wifi didn't work downstairs underground as the Eero devices weren't synced,.this kids not happy.
Fan in main bedroom appears same speed as low to high and no air movement. Turned on AC unit and the smell was horrible it needs a clean.
- Jose (1/5): Bad -
- Kim (7/5): Good - It’s very clean nice kitchen, lounge area, main bedroom was very comfortable. Easy access to shops. Really enjoyed my stay. The only issue was the mattresses in the second bedroom were extremely uncomfortable so my friend told me. He said the mattresses were very hard and hardly got any sleep. But enjoyed the stay other than that.
- Dympna (9/5): Superb -
- Hayley (8/5): Very good - Great central location in the town. Parts of the ceiling were crumbling and fell down the guests and bedding.
- Barry (7/5): Good pleasant quiet place to stay at a reasonable cost - It was roomy and reasonable cost and close to shops Unit had not been cleaned prior to arrival and we had to call the owner to get the cleaner out. Having said that they got someone out straight away and even refunded us $50
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - We have stayed here heaps of times
Its clean close to everything and secure
My children 💙 it it has a dishwasher
- Virgil (10/5): Exceptional -
