- Sonia (10/5): - Excelente lugar para relajarse, tranquilo y cómodo. 👌
- Natalia (10/5): Lindo lugar - La tranquilidad del lugar Todo le gustó
- Mykolas (10/5): - Amazing garden and quite place. Just magical for the first morning in Costa Rica. Everything else is just the details, but would definitely consider visiting again. Next time I will be better with my Spanish to avoid using translator too much.
- Angelika Hedy Fryklind (8/5): Beautiful gardens, sunsets and pathways - It’s a bit chilly in this area, so bring extra sweaters

No descansamos nada bien.
- Guest (9/5): Great garden heaven, awesome views and swings - The scenic and magnificent view, the swings and the nice walk in the coffee garden. There was also a washer and dryer. The kitchen was missing some basic ingredients.
- Eliza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darius (1/5): Bad - Unreliable and disrespectful hosts, canceled our booking without any reason on the last moment. We found it after 20 hours flight at 11 p.m. and had to look for another place to stay for a night.
- Catherine (9/5): Beautiful Property, Minimalist Room: A Unique Stay - This place was so nice. The studio is small but the property is massive and beautiful, and this is the real value of the place.
Our studio featured a basic kitchenette (a microwave, coffee maker, utensils), a small private bathroom with a shower, a desk, a TV and sofa that we never used, and a comfortable bed. While the room was generally clean, it didn't quite meet our personal standards - little details like worn towels and bed linens suggested it could use a bit more attention. Also, would be nice to have a place to hang stuff (but there are drawers where you can store your clothes). Phil helped us overcome the hanging situation quite effectively :) The internet connection was stable and we had a parking spot inside the property, which was a plus.
The true magic of this accommodation is its breathtaking property and location. Imagine expansive gardens, stunning views, and a serene meditation space that invites pure tranquility. The silence is profound, the air pristine. You could easily spend days just exploring the grounds, soaking in the natural beauty. Keep in mind you'll need a car (either rented or using Uber/taxis) to move around.
The host, Phil, is a highlight - very nice, friendly, and incredibly responsive. Phil understands that the value of his place isn't in luxurious interiors, but in the extraordinary environment he has created.
If you're looking for a fancy room, this might not be your spot. But if you want a peaceful retreat that connects you with nature, this is absolutely perfect. A bit more attention in the cleaning (behind the couch, renewal of linens, and towels). It was ok but could be better. It's not a dealbreaker.
Make sure to bring your own toiletries.
- Carolyn (10/5): Very relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. - Idyllic gardens with many viewpoints from which to soak in the amazing landscape. Phil is a great host, lovely to chat to and listen to all his stories about the ranch and Costa Rica. His coffee is exceptional. It was the perfect stay for a late afternoon landing at the airport & breaking the journey to Tortuguero or Puerto Viejo. Nothing it was all great.
- Angelika (9/5): Superb -
- Miriam (9/5): Superb -
- Stefan (10/5): Laid-back stay at a coffee farm in San Isidro - Stunning location next to the coffee plantations and beautiful coffee farm gardens. Spacious accommodation, perfectly maintained, with all equipment including coffee maker, grinder and beans from the farm. Outdoor terrace and outlook with amazing views. All quite a perfect harmony.
- Vanaty (9/5): Hidden gem in near San Jose - Loved the property! So well maintained. The bed, pillows and sofa were very comfortable. The owner is a very laidback, friendly guy. Would recommend! The garden and coffee ranch is AMAZING 😍
- Norbert (8/5): A bit pricey for a cabin in the mountains - Nice garden No breakfast as advertised!
- Angelica (10/5): Peaceful panoramic view - I really enjoy the view points inside the property is so nice that you can taste fruits's trees and is a peaceful place, also you can taste de coffee produce in the finca :P thanks Diego! na
- Christoph (10/5): A very nice place to stay. Includes a nice garde to walk around and a very helpfull host. - There is a very nice garden (including coffee plant, ....) which can be visited during your stay. Really beautiful.
We were also able to test the home grown coffee.
Also got some very good recommendations where to go for food by the host.
- Linn (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful and Great host! More beautiful than described! Will definitely stay here again!
- Londono (8/5): Very good -
- Marjan (6/5): Pleasant - The garden is very pretty. The parking space. The bathroom. flexibility of finding cash through a restaurant thanks to the host. That it says bed and breakfast but there is no breakfast at all. Also I had to pay tax and I still don't understand why as in all other hotels it was never the case. Cushions too high for sleeping.
- Arudappa (10/5): worth it - location and host
