K (10/5): Exceptional - We came to the opera festival in Bayreuth and wanted to stay not too far from Festspielhaus but still in the countryside to profit the excellent hiking trails right out of the front door. This place was perfect! Lovely house and garden, very comfortable apartment with the kitchen exceptionally well equipped with pots and pans and every imaginable little utensil for cooking like at home which I did because there were no restaurants at a walking distance. A very good small grocery store in the village where you can get everything you need. Also a bakery. The couple keeping the apartment lives downstairs. They are extremely kind and considerate. We would love to go back!
