Veey friendly and lovely host 👌 Very hilly for bags but grateful for the free bus and the warmth of Magdalena to drive us to the station.

• HEUNJI (10/5): 진짜 개좋음 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 - 정말 또 가고싶은 숙소 이고 시간과 여유만 괜찮다면 한달 머물고 싶은 숙소 입니다 뷰도 다들 생각하는 스위스 그 풍경이고, 그린델 역에서 걸어서 10분 정도 내리막길로 가면 됩니다 (대신 올라갈땐 힘들지만 버스타면 바로 갈 수 있어요) 그리고 숙소가 다른 숙소와 거리가 있어서 조용하고 정말 프라이빗하게 즐길 수 있어요 식세기, 오븐 커피머신, 전자레인지 냉장고, 바람쎈 드라이기, 인덕션 4구 등 그냥 필요한건 다 있습니다 침구가 아직도 생각나는게 바스락거리는게 너무 좋았고 인테리어 하나하나 정말 신경쓴게 보였습니다 또 정말...... 깨끗하고 침구나 식탁보 등등 감성 넘치고 그냥 너무 깨끗해요 욕실에 물때하나 없어서 막 씻기도 미안할 정도로. 막달레나 할머니도 직접 보았는데 너무 친절하시고 젠틀하십니다 정말 모든게 마음에 들어요 이탈리아에 온 지금 아직도 생각나는 숙소 입니다 최소 3박은 머물러야 좋을 것 같아요..... 2박 했더니 너무 아쉬워요... 숙소 들어가서 바로 맡는 그 향기, 그리고 걸을때 삐걱대는 나무 소리, 해지기전까지 나는 새의 소리, 침실 창문으로 보이는 잔디와 꽃이 흔들리는 모습,,,, 너무 최고입니다 제발 2박으론 모잘라요........ 언젠간 또 가고싶은 숙소입니다 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 없어요

Magdalena fue muy expeditiva para guiarnos cómo llegar y siempre respondió inmediatamente a nuestras consultas. Tuvo hasta la amabilidad de llevarnos hasta el tren cuando dejamos Grindelwald. Super recomendable!! No hubo nada que no me gustara.

• Henry (9/5): - The host is incredibly welcoming and kind. Fabulous location. The only thing to bear in mind is neighbours above who wake up early, if you are a light sleeper the footsteps will wake you - out of hosts control and not reflected in our review. Would stay again.

Even a dishwasher. Located down a steep hill from the village with buses running every hour. We chose to walk but should have waited for a bus with our luggage. Our host Magdalena drove us back to the train station when we were leaving which was very generous of her. The pillows were a bit too soft

• Coffee Tinge (9/5): 超乎期待的住宿体验 - 地点很好，离火车站和缆车站不远，而且屋主会提供Guest Card，免费乘搭区内巴士。那边的Coop超市很有规模，价格合理。小公寓的周遭非常安静，最重要的是它就面向Grindelwald非常漂亮的梦幻山坡，就算不出外，也能在屋内度过一个非常美好的时光。 这家住宿是百年老房子，非常宽敞，内部装潢和保养都做得很好，卫生和舒适度几乎无可挑剔。我非常喜欢屋内的一些老家具和摆设，是难得一见的老古董。厨房设备和用品都很有品质也很足够，但这里并不提供咖啡喝茶，有需要的记得自带。 屋主夫妇是非常干练有效率的人，态度亲切。离开那天她还送我们到车站，感激不已。 Nothing
• Gopinath (9/5): Dream holiday - I had an amazing stay at Endweg Homestay. The place offers excellent views that truly elevate the entire experience — waking up to those sights was a highlight of the trip. The host was exceptionally warm, helpful, and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the stay. The home itself is beautifully furnished, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need. It strikes the perfect balance between comfort and style, making it feel both homely. The host also dropped us at the station on our way back which very kind and thoughtful of her. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area — I would gladly stay here again! Remember if your travelling with heavy baggage you can take bus 123 and get down at the Glacier stop, ie second stop. • Roelien (10/5): Top locatie en appartement. - De locatie was top: precies tussen het dorp en de andere stations in. Bovendien was Magdalena erg vriendelijk! We werden zelfs opgehaald en afgezet op het station. We hoorden de bovenburen soms lopen.
• Andrea (4/5): Grindelwald top, Wohnung ... - Die Lage ist ein großes Plus. Grindelwald ist ein super Reiseziel für Wanderungen. Alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen, wenn man fit ist - es ist alles sehr steil Wir haben nicht die Wohnung bekommen, die wir erwartet haben - die Fotos von zwei unterschiedlichen Wohnungen sind gemischt, sodass man nicht weiß, was man bekommt. In der Anzeige steht, dass die Böden aus Holz oder Parkett und Fliesen oder Marmor sind, was auf eine sehr hochwertige Qualität schließen lässt. In "unserer" Wohnung waren Wohn- und Esszimmer mit Laminat in Holzoptik ausgelegt, Küche und Bad mit PVC und das Schlafzimmer - was für mich gar nicht geht- mit Teppichboden. Des Weiteren waren die Backofentür, das Kühlschranklicht und ein Deckenspot defekt. Laut Vermieter würde sich die Reparatur nicht lohnen, da Küche und Bad in zweit Monaten renoviert würden. Das hat uns in dem Moment leider nicht geholfen :( In der Anzeige ist auch von einem separaten Eingang die Rede. Wir mussten den Eingangsbereich mit der "Dauermieterin" teilen, die früh morgens auch regelmäßig über die Veranda, direkt an unserem offenen Schlafzimmerfenster vorbei, zu ihrem Auto gehen musste. Auch hat man ab 6 Uhr morgens ihre Schritte über dem Schlafzimmer gehört, genauso wie den seeehr lauten Kaffeeautomaten. Die Kaffeemaschine unserer Wohnung benötigte im Übrigen mehr als 45 Minuten, um drei Becher Filterkaffee durchlaufen zu lassen - 6 Tassen!!! Falls man die Zeit am Morgen vor den Wanderungen hat, bitte großzügig einplanen!!! Der Abfluss der Dusche war anfangs verstopft, allerdings wurde dieser Mangel nach 5 Tagen - direkt nach dem Urlaub der Vermieter - behoben. Wissen sollte man auch, dass Waschmaschine und Trockner nicht in der Wohnung zu finden sind, sondern in einer im Untergeschoss befindlichen Waschküche. Fotos und Beschreibungen auf der Booking-Seite stimmen auf jeden Fall nicht mit den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten überein. Die Größe der Wohnung könnte für diejenigen ein Pluspunkt sein, die es großzügig mögen. Ich mag es eher klein, gemütlich und hell.

Ubicata in una stradina molto tranquilla e silenziosa a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro di Grindelwald e a 10 minuti a piedi dal terminal delle funivie principali. Se non si deve andare in un’altra città o paese l’auto si può lasciare nel parcheggio di fronte, riservato, per tutto il periodo del soggiorno. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. Nulla

Apartament w pełni wyposażony, przestronny i czysty. Bardzo miła właścicielka:) Zapach świeżo skoszonej łąki - bezcenny.

• YUMIKO (9/5): グリンデルワルトの別荘で過ごした2週間 - グリンデルワルト駅、ターミナル駅、どちらにも歩ける立地で便利です キッチンも完璧で、2週間快適に過ごせました 台所の窓からの朝日が気持ちよく山々がすぐそこに迫ります オーナーもとても良い距離感で接してくれました ・Wi-Fiが少し弱く、台所までは届かなかった ・トイレットペーパーが2個設置されていましたが、それ以上は自分で購入だそうです　Coopにはちょうど大きな袋しか売っていなくて、ウーーーンって感じでした ・タオル類は沢山有りましたが、そろそろ新しいタオルと取り替えて頂くと嬉しい

Easy access to buses and trains. Our host is amazing and has included every comfort. I felt very safe, and the kitchen facilities were stocked above most places I’ve stayed.

This was a true Swiss Chalet overlooking beautiful mountains, lush green fields and other Chalets. The kitchen was well equipped, instructions for directions were clear and a local bus route was a short walk away to take us up to the main village. Our hostess got back via a message straight away after we had queried a couple of things. Good wifi.

The apartment was dog friendly, had all the facilities we required and was very clean. It was very homely, warm and perfect for our winter break. The hosts met us at the apartment when we arrived, showed us round and answered any questions we had. They are very friendly and helpful. It's also a 15min easy walk to the Grindelwald Terminal. Magdalena was great, super responsive and easy to deal with. The house is super nice and feels like a true home (and the views out the windows are great!) There is parking (free) right in front of the property. Nothing!

• Kayla (10/5): Magical winter stay with cozy atmosphere and lots of nearby activities - The property was cozy and spacious, offering great views of the mountains and surrounding hillsides. Magdalena was welcoming and made us feel right at home in her space. It is about a 10 minute walk from the city center, which is also serviced by a bus at a nearby hotel. Just a little difficult to get uphill in the snow with a small suitcase. Just keep this in mind if you prefer taxi or bus

Provision of Tea/coffee would be a very nice touch and I am sure guests would really appreciate it.

We didn't meet the hostess until checkout but she was very friendly and responsive to messages. Would definitely consider returning. Only Minor things- a few things in the kitchen, like the kettle need updating. Basic cooking oil, soap would have been nice. But overall it was still fantastic.

• Angi (10/5): We loved this property and had a fabulous holiday in Grindelwald. - The chalet is set a little apart from the main town of Grindelwald on a very quiet lane, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. It is perfectly set up for two people and very well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the balcony after a long day's walking. The host, Magdalena, was very friendly and even drove us up the (very steep) hill to the train station at the end of our stay. I can't think of a single thing that could be improved.

The home is beautifully decorated with complete kitchen and bathroom set up. The check in and check out was very easy. The host - Magdalena was very kind and always responsive. She even offered us a free drop to the train station which was a saviour for the luggage we had. Thank you for the amazing experience. The bus accessibility from home to station isn't very frequent. Have to walk nearly a kilometre to get around 1 way. Wish the weather was good as we dint get clear views at Grindelwald First.

• Christine (8/5): Spacious apartment with an amazing mountain view! - View of the mountains from the kitchen window was picture perfect! The apartment is very spacious. Being able to use the washing machine and dryer for free was great. There were two tvs (one in the lounge and one in the bedroom). Large modern bathroom. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook with. Reasonable walking distance to the main centre of town and the First cable car station. Guest / Visitor pass provided gives free access to buses but they don’t come that regularly. So we ended up walking most of the time. The host gave us a free lift to train/bus station at check-out which was kind. Apartment was warm enough in the cooler weather. Mattress feel was a medium. Bed was large. There was a massive hole in the road, and barriers were put up to prevent all access, which made it impossible to even walk along the road to access the apartment. Had to figure out ourselves that we needed to walk down the grassy hill (at end of another hotel’s carpark) to reach it. Had to pay a fee for paying for the accommodation via credit card. Weren’t advised of these things in advance though. No breakfast, tea or coffee was provided (as per the booking.com description), but there is a Co-op about 10-15min walking distance away so it wasn’t an issue for us.
• Sing (10/5): Probably the best apartment in Grindelward - A cosy apartment with lovely host. Located just a few minutes walk from the train station or bus terminal. Awesome view from the apartment. 😊
• Simone (10/5): Our breakfast table view was to die for. - A short walk from the main village but a feeling of being really out in the country, with the mountains to ourselves…and the cows. A warm comfortable stay with very welcoming hosts. Getting dropped at the station was a thoughtful touch. 😁 Really glad we chose Grindelwald as we had lots of fun on First but also enjoyed visiting nearby but smaller Lauterbrunnen.

We couldn't wish for a better place to stay in Grindelwald. Magdelena and Jurg are very kind and welcoming, meeting us at the station and taking us back there at the end of the week. We walked to all the cablecar and railway station but the ski bus is only 3 minutes walk away. Nothing
