• Katr (8/5): - Good location. Lovely furnishings. Bathroom is downstairs, which is indicated in the photos. The stairs are steep and there is no handrail for the top 1/3 of the stairwell. My partner had just had a shoulder reconstruction, so descending the stairs was difficult. I found it a little unnerving as well at night. The driveway is also a tight fit for larger cars.

• Caroline (9/5): The apartment had a very nice feel. - Lovely little apartment in a great location very easy walk to town and lovely costal walks. Our main reason for booking was the small outdoor balcony, but we didn’t realise it was shared. This isn’t clear on Booking.com. It wasn’t an issue for us as the weather was a bit overcast, but if the neighbour had used the table and chairs they would have been sitting right outside our apartment, looking straight in.
• Taryn (7/5): - The location, lovely complimentary snacks, has all the facilities you need, modern bathroom and kitchen The balcony is shared with a neighbouring unit, doesn’t as feel private as I would have liked. The bed is quite firm and uncomfortable. Had kids in the neighbouring unit who were very loud, the unit doesn’t keep outside noises out very well

• Glenys (7/5): Overall good because of the location and well appointed accommodation - across the road from the beach walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops good walks close by Beautifully decorated toilet downstairs from bedroom and living area staircase was steep and dangerous because the top 3rd didn't have handrail for safety no clothes airer - had to hang clothes on a shared line in the back yard shared balcony that results in people looking directly into the living space - this was not clearly stated in the apartment info given it's a beach location, a hairdryer would have also been handy

• Donna (10/5): Exceptional - The property is so lovely. It has everything you need. It is nicely decorated, the furniture is practical and very comfortable. The place is spotlessly clean. You can see the water from the balcony and the living room. It is an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Just 5 minutes along the footpath. And you are far enough away that it is quiet, from both cars and people. I really enjoyed my weekend away. Definitely keen to stay here again.

• Adam (10/5): My fiancée and I adored our stay - Staying in this apartment was a fantastic experience! The whole place felt spacious, yet cosy with a lovely beach vibe. The bed and couches were supremely comfortable, and hard to leave once laid apon. Both the kitchen and bathroom were clean, and large enough to move around freely without feeling claustrophobic.

• Carolyn (1/5): We booked this accommodation and paid a high price for the opportunity. We could not locate it....I - Loation would have been good if we could find the property when we booked! we booked it because it said it had great views over the water. We could not see the ocean or find the property. booked the property at the end of a long days and could not locate it in the dark. The property was not lit. We walked for blocks around the location and asked people on the street, one with a family in the car but they were searching for their accommodation also!! No lights on the corner and no signage to indicate a property for rent!! As a result we had to pay again for another room in town. We would hope that booking.com will refund or at least partly refund this booking as we found it impossible to find Moana Blue property through no fault of our own. The owners will be well aware of this as the room was not used but they will have our money in their account!
• Elizabeth (3/5): Property Description lacking. - The facilities upstairs, ie kitchen, bedroom and sitting room were good. No bannister on the top part of the stairs. They are very steep and we needed to almost crawl up the last 6 or 7 to feel safe. Bathroom downstairs, very inconvenient when getting up in the night. My husband slept on the couch below the stairs. No comment in property description that bedroom and bathroom were on different levels, would NOT have booked if we had know.

• Yolande (10/5): Delightful! - The property was stylishly decorated, comfortable and in an amazing location. I would buy it if I could. We ended up staying here because there was no accommodation available in Nelson Bay at the time but this was so much better.

Nicole was wonderful, helpful and made the stay feel so much safer. Nicole ensured we would be comfortable and left the room in beautiful condition, so very clean and modern. we had a blast being so close to the beach and felt so safe and welcome. I cannot thank you enough, Nicole. nothing. the room is beautiful, spacious and a home away from home
• Stephen (6/5): 6/10 overall but could have been a 9/10. - the view, proximity to beach, decor, sea breeze at night, sound of the ocean at night. the lock box that is faulty, the unit number is partially scratched off so it is not straightforward in identifying and would not open to give us the keys. the smoke alarm system in the whole block of units that kept waking me up throughout the night. if these technical issues are fixed then the whole experience will be greatly enhanced. Instructions on how to work the TV remote would be helpful for those not so tech savvy.
• Sue (5/5): Expected more for the price - Fit out was great Quality First impressions of building was poor however inside was well present. 14 steps down to bathroom was problematic at night so we only stayed 1 night not 4. Sharing of outdoor space could have been awkward & thought of others sitting outside our window was not great.
