• Christian (10/5): - Die Wohnung befindet eine Straße vom Strand entfernt. Senora Daisy war immer da für uns und hat sofort ausgeholfen. Es gibt Wasserkanister bei ihr zu kaufen. Besonders schön ist der Innenhof. Die Nachbarn machen täglich am Nachmittag laut Musik. Aber dafür ist ja nicht die Unterkunft verantwortlich. Am frühen Abend ist aber wieder Ruhe.

• jessica (8/5): Iluminado pero Lejos del centro - El apartamento era grande, apenas para dos personas, entraba buena luz y podíamos ver el mar y el amanecer. No hacen aseo si no lo solicitas un día antes, no nos dejaron jabón en la cocina para lavar la loza que usamos, está cerca a la playa San Luis pero no nos gustó mucho porque había Sargazo y queda lejos del centro, como a media hora en carro.

• ALBA ROCIO (10/5): económico y confortable - Es practico para ir en familia, si quieres algo económico y confortable está bien a una cuadra esta la playa, no es muy concurrida y eso nos gustó, cerca se encuentran supermercados pequeños y se pueden comprar víveres y prepararlos en el alojamiento eso estuvo perfecto. Si vas con pretensiones de hotel 5 estrellas no es para ti, mi familia y yo lo recomendamos 100 x 100

• Ryan (8/5): Beautiful chalets close to the beach - Clean, beautiful area with decent facilities and a great host. The local area doesn't have a lot of options for food despite appearing to, and the facilities could be upgraded a little.

• Giorgia (7/5): Ok - Casa molto grande, sei posti letto e un bagno. Struttura un po’ datata. La casa è di fronte alla spiaggia ma l’intento dal centro. In agosto la spiaggia di fronte era impraticabile, essendo bassa stagione tutte le strutture erano chiuse ed intorno ci sono pochi servizi. Non saprei giudicare in alta stagione ma credo che il panorama cambi completamente. Autobus 5000cop per arrivare in centro (20-25 minuti). In bassa stagione consiglio un appartamento in centro. Abbiamo chiesto un asciugacapelli e ci hanno detto che i beni personali non vengono forniti. Abbiamo invece chiesto asciugamano in più e ce li hanno portati il giorno dopo.

• Cristobal (7/5): - Muy cómodo el lugar y todo muy limpio. La gente que está a cargo del lugar es muy amable. El sector queda muy retirado del centro y prácticamente no hay nada que despues de las 6 de la tarde. Esperábamos que playa San Luis hiba a estar mejor cuidada, pero no fue así.

• Moritz (3/5): Clean but very loud and uncomfortable apartment - Next to a nice beach and some restaurants, clean Very loud and directly next to the road with heavy traffic. Music blasts from neighbours all day and night long, few windows so you need artificial light which has a very uncomfortable color temperature, needs maintenance, air condition weak, owner really dishonest, recommended us a taxi service for 40000 for 5m, although we trusted her to not get taken advantage of. TV is not functional.

Està a pocs metres de la platja de San Luís i durant el dia té bons restaurants i bars a prop. A partir de les sis és cert que la zona es queda més apagada i per anar a San Andrés centro cal algun transport privat. Una estància còmode i correcta.

• Juan (10/5): Wonderful Apartment. Best ever - I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chalet del Mar, and it truly stood out as a delightful alternative to conventional tourist destinations. Nestled close to a stunning beach, its location is unbeatable. My experience at the counter was exceptional; the staff was exceedingly helpful, enhancing my visit in every way. N/A

• Dalius (10/5): A cozy stay next to the sea - The location is superb - just across the street from the San Luis beach. The hostess was very helpful with whatever issues would arise. Also, she made us her home made ceviches, which were absolutely yummy :) Thank you! The wifi strength could reach better into all the rooms of the facility. But as long as we knew that the modem was in the patio, we managed to get our connections there.

• Magda (8/5): Very nice stay, would come back again. - Beach is across the road (30m), supermarket 3min walk, the staff was friendly, rooms were tidy, good neighbourhood, generaly a good experience. Good standard for the price, especially in San Andres that is more expensive than mainland Colombia. WiFi was on and off, especially flimsy in rush hours (morning and afternoon), room was orginally clean however during our 4 day stay it was not cleaned (if I’m not mistaken - I do not know spanish - cleaning on demand was available, however I think it should be obvious that during 4 days at least trash bins need to be emptied). Nevertheless the stay was very pleasent and we would definitely return again.
• Stephen (10/5): Fantastic Apartment in San Luis! - A great place right by a beautiful beach in a quiet little part of the island. Close to some lovely little bars and family run eateries. The staff and owner were very kind and helpful. We felt completely at home here! The AC is strong, which was nice considering some of the hot days. Beds were comfy. The bathroom had 2 showers. The kitchen was fully stocked, full fridge and stove. Cool back garden with a variety of fruit trees.They gave us a late checkout (1:30 PM!) and arranged for transportation to the airport. The owner even gave us some amazing breadfruit snacks for the road! Quality place run by people who care. And great value for the money. Would definitely stay here again - and for longer next time! Nothing comes to mind

• Elle (9/5): We would absolutely stay here again, it was a great set up for our family of 5 and ask the staff were great. - The accommodation for our family of 5 was perfect. It's an easy 2 minute walk to the beach. It has hot showers, which was very nice, the a/c worked great and it was very clean. All of the staff were lovely. When asked, they directed us to Anthony for help arranging a cart and tours. Anthony and his wife were fantastic. All they helped us with worked without issue. I fully believe if there had been any issue they would have fixed it. I accidentally overpaid for one of the activities and I didn't notice. A few hours later when the payment went through they alerted me to my overpayment and refunded me. I highly recommend connecting with Anthony and his wife for arrangements outside of The Chalet. The Chalet staff were so helpful too. I needed some sewing done on a broken floaty and a dress and they were able to have that done in town very easily. It being close proximity to the beach also means it's close proximity to residences and businesses that play loud music. You can say that for almost all of the rentals but, we were able to sleep perfectly fine as the Chalet is well built. The electricity went out after our first day and the internet never worked again. That isn't their fault, they called the technician to come out to fix it. Before it went out it seemed to work very well.

• .drew. (5/5): Where is My Refund? - Proximity to the beach. The a/c. The taxi driver recommended by the hotel was great, met at the hotel and transported me to a new accommodation, but he charged double the normal taxi rate, FYI. No hot water. Freezing cold water. Very tiny room. The proximity light outside of window came on every few seconds for the entire night. Zero internet. I had to leave after the night. For almost $300 for 8 days w/o those facilities, it wasn't worth it. Initially the host was cordial, but after 9 days of not having my money refunded, I have my character insulted, slandered and had my integrity challenged. THEY did not send the refund through the proper Booking.com channels, so Booking.com refuses to do anything but apologize over and over again. In no way should a simple refund take over a week in 2022. Zero. This is tying up possible emergency money needed on a credit card, and possible interest. To be told that it's MY bank, and accepting no blame for their mistakes is even more enraging. I wasn't going to leave a negative review, but after last evening when I flat out told the host that I trusted them, she comes back screaming at me, as if I've done something on purpose to hurt her childlike feelings (typical Colombian response of horror). I WANT MY REFUND. But when I do leave a negative review, it's always backed with facts and the truth.
