Guest Reviews
- Alexandra (10/5): Lovely apartment - highly recommend! - Lovely apartment that is fully equipped. The bed was very comfortable and made for falling asleep very quickly after a long day of walking. The building feels very secure, and like many have commented already, it is located above a bar but we didn't hear anything at night.
The building is located on the main street with many shops (food, clothing, cheese, etc.) and cafes as neighbours, and there is a grocery store nearby as well. The walk to the Old Quebec took us about 30 minutes.
We traveled with a 9 month old baby and had a lovely time! Tight parking space, but not impossible if you reverse in. We drive a Subaru Forrester and were able to get in and out without any issues.
FYI - there is no elevator. The apartment is on the second floor and there aren't too many stairs to climb.

Absolument rien!
Rien.
- Sylvie (9/5): - Great location 5 min bus ride to downtown! Very clean and quiet. I'd go back anytime.
L’appartement s -
- kathryn (7/5): Enjoyed our stay despite disadvantages - The neighborhood was quiet with local bars, shops restaurants and supermarkets.
We liked the free parking space provided.
The kitchen was well equipped enabling us to cook meals there.
The double bed was comfortable. The interior corridors are cold and concrete.
Front door of the apartment needs a security/ privacy blind.
The oven wasn't clean. My husband cleaned the base of the kitchen waste bin.
It needs a wardrobe, not an open hanging rail.
The sofa bed needs to be replaced, as it sags in the middle and is very uncomfortable.
It's quite a long way out of the old town requiring a car or bus journey. It would be useful to have information provided about local bus routes into town
- Lisa Maria (9/5): -
- Julia (7/5): - The location is great, and it is nice to have a parking spot. The instructions to access the room were clear. The room is quite spacious, with a kitchen. Unfortunately the cleaning was not done when we checked in. Although it seemed to be an isolated incident and the management company was really reactive and apologetic, that was disappointing. The AC kept leaking water on the floor, even when turned off.
- Gauthier (9/5): Super !
- Norma (10/5): Comfortable and clean apartment in a good location - The apartment had everything you need . Plenty of kitchen equipment and the washer and dryer were a great bonus .
It is in a great location with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.
There is a pub underneath but we weren’t disturbed by any noise. The front door to the apartment was difficult to open
- Muriel (8/5): Very good -
- Kathleen (9/5): Superb - Had everything we needed. Doors were all secured with passcodes so felt safe. Lots of restaurants close by. Parking is very tight, I couldn't park in the spot one day because the car next to me was over the line. There is not much room to maneuverer around to get in and out easily.
The balcony is over a patio of a bar below and it was loud at nighttime.
- Anica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Han (5/5): Passable -
- Kerry (9/5): Superb - Apartment was better than expected and very comfortable. Bed had good mattress and linen .
Well equipped kitchen and good location being a short car trip to old town .
Very clear access info and parking was included
Also handy having an IGA just around the corner We would have loved some hooks and coat hangers . Otherwise it was great .
- Joan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thu (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (9/5): We extremely enjoyed out stay in Limoliu. - We loved the location and the clear and concise instructions about the unit. We would have appreciated a recycle bin and body wash as opposed to a 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
- Patricia (9/5): Superb -
- Rupal (9/5): Great - The property is great and very convenient to downtown. We had everything we needed and stay was pleasant. The instruction to access the parking and the apartment is abit confusing at first.
- Deepanshu (9/5): Louis place is perfect for small family, cozy home with all amenities, -
- Zyad (9/5): Wonderful - The size of the studio and cleanliness Location is ok but nothing much to do
- Quinn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent stay, wonderful facilities and location, - - having full kitchen & laundry facilities
- spacious room for family of 4 with luggage
- new and clean - parking was very narrow and challenging with lots of luggage being upstairs with no lift
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location with a short drive to Old Quebec City; quiet neighborhood
- Sally (10/5): Great little apartment in a great area! - Self contained apartment with every thing you needed. Loved having the washing and drying facilities and lots of TV channels. Nice outside balcony space in a great location with many bars and restaurants nearby! Nothing!
- Ed (10/5): Enjoy the quietness around Québec - Quite spacious and ideally located! Great options to eat/for coffee just around the corner. Took us 30 min with 2 young kids to reach Old Québec. Absolutely amazing! Nothing really...
- Glen (8/5): Great area with lots to explore. - The location was fabulous. We enjoyed coffee shops and wonderful restaurants. Nice to have parking available. East access although there was a lot of construction in the area.
Very quiet at night as the window was sound proof. Nice to have air conditioning. Would have liked a separate bedroom (studio unit). It was good for our short stay of 3 nights.
We needed a bath mat for the shower.
Definitely in need of some new towels.
Wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend it.
- Lori (10/5): Great place not too far from Q City! - Very good communication. Easy to access with digital keys. Clean, large space. Good instructions for the AC and Heat. Comfortable bed and futon. Parking was insanely tight. 3 different codes to access the property was a challenge.
- Chris (3/5): Not recommended - Decent bed, large space, balcony, washing machine/tumble dryer.
Immediate neighbourhood decent Didn’t realise it was one room. Kitchen and bed all in the same space.
Entry code instructions confusing and inaccurate.
No welcome or welcome pack.
No wardrobe or hanging facilities of any description.
Light from the glazed door and ill-fitting curtains made sleeping difficult.
Bathroom fan not working.
The walk to Quebec City Old Town takes 30 minutes and goes through a large rough sleeping area. Quite intimidating.
CONTACTED ON DAY 3 OF OUR 5 DAY STAY BY MESSAGE AND PHONE DEMANDING THAT WE IMMEDIATELY RETURN TO THE APARTMENT AND VACATE IT AS OTHER GUESTS WERE DUE IN OUR ROOM. I ADVISED THAT WE HAD A 5 DAY BOOKING AND AFTER CHECKING I WAS GIVEN A BRIEF APOLOGY AND THEY HUNG UP.
Overall disappointing accommodation and not recommended.
- Cam (9/5): Superb -
- Phil (7/5): We enjoyed the apartment and the location. However, our experience was soured by the false claim of there being a separ - It was really well set up for two people with everything we needed. The website clearly stated there was a separate bedroom with a double bed, plus a sofa bed in the lounge. On this basis we booked the apartment for our party of four adults. Unfortunately as soon as we walked in it was obvious the separate bedroom did not exist. The two beds are directly next to each other offering no privacy at all. Because of this our friends found alternative accommodation.
- Loren (8/5): Very nice apartment -
- Nadja (9/5): Very cosy appartement in nice neighbourhood - Very nice one-room appartement, cosy and all clean. Equipment of kitchen was simple but all we needed. Bathroom modern and clean as well. The bed and sofa were ok for us. Balcony is a plus!
The neighbourhood Vieux Limoilou is very likable, good shops and restaurants, running can be done in the park along the river St Charles, bus into the old city center is very close. Also private parking space was really good to have! There is a light shining from the corridor outside the flat through the glass front door, so at night it is not dark - was a bit difficult for sleeping.
- Lidwina (9/5): Superb - Wonderful neighborhood, very comfortable little apartment. We loved having a kitchen and washer and dryer, since we had been traveling and bicycling for a couple of weeks before arriving in Québec. Need a spot for suitcases
- Oliver (8/5): Very good - It is a good location, clean, and comfortable place. The fees added onto the listed price were significant. more up front, total pricing would be better.
- Parastoo (8/5): B - Either the fridge or the air conditioner kept making sudden loud noises. It kept waking us up.
- Rohaizad (7/5): Good -
- Catherine (9/5): Funky little apartment in a cool neighbourhood. - This was a really beautiful and well-equipped place - perfect for our two-night stay. The kitchenette has everything you need to make your own meals and there is also a washing machine and dryer if, like us, you've been traveling for a while and need a refresh! We loved the cool, non-touristy neighbourhood which was full of little restaurants and cafés. We also enjoyed having free parking (although the space is tiny!) The four of us - two over 75's, an 11-year old, and a 50-year-old, walked to old town Quebec in 25 minutes. We would stay here again.
- Sheng-chieh (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (9/5): Great locations - Great location. Easy walk (35 minutes) into the old quarter of the city. Great restaurants and bars where the apartment was. Really good value for money.
- Aziz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dexter (8/5): Very good - I like the room size, the fournitures, the deco theme, the size, the location and the parking. I didn't like the matress, pillows, cushions, bed sheets and TV. The TV is 40", it's too small for the room
- Cf_sg (8/5): Cosy, clean and convenient. - Very close to a fairly comprehensively stocked IGA and various eateries. Parking on site very appreciated. 30 min walking time to Old Quebec. Not a fantastic idea in winter!
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional - Well furnished, stylish and spacious apartment in an up and coming area of Quebec. The apartment was also clean, comfortable and well equipped. The free parking place was really appreciated. Lots of great places to eat nearby. It was quite a long walk from the city centre. There are buses reasonably frequently, get bus tickets from the convenience store next to Soupe and Cie. There is no elevator and apartment is one floor up, so if you have mobility problems might be difficult.
- Raissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raghavendra (10/5): short and sweet - clean and comfortable parking slot
- Christopher (4/5): Disappointing - clean and spacious getting the codes to open the door was very complicated - assume I had to go on Booking.com app instead of receiving an email. I had no phone connection on location so cannot be assumed I can go on app
- Kim (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Watheq (10/5): Exceptional -
- Todd (10/5): Nice local private place away from the tourists - A quiet apartment with all the necessities of living: refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, washer and dryer, espresso maker, nice balcony. About a 10-minute walk to Old Quebec. It’s great if you plan staying more than 1-2 days. Can’t complain!
