• HIU TUNG CRYSTAL (10/5): Overall, a great place to stay! I really enjoyed it. - Perfect location with easy access to grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and the harbour. The loft was very cozy and had everything I needed. I also loved the little extras like the bookshelf, board games, and DVDs! The only minor issue was that the WiFi was a bit unstable, but it didn’t bother me much as I was there to relax and put down my phone.

• Dan Happell (10/5): Achieving Lofty Heights - Small space that has been brilliantly designed to feel larger, chic, but homely. Terrific location on the main street. Excellent communication from Fiona, including some terrific local tips. Thoughtful welcome package. All-in-all a lovely place for a couple to use as a Queenscliff base.

We visited to enjoy a mystery picnic on the Bellarine and the Blues Train, Salt Loft was the ideal central location in easy walking distance to all the attractions, highly recommended!

• Sabbadini (9/5): Beautiful cosy place on the main street. - Fantastic location and a really nice cosy place. My partner and I loved it and would definitely return. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was perfect for us. It was nice to cook one of the nights and eat dinner on the balcony. The shower was a good pressure and the place was clean. The only thing I would upgrade is the tv, or at the very least attach a chromecast or something. After going to the beach on a hot day we just wanted to chill and watch one of our shows but were unable to. Mind you, this is a very small gripe.

• Paul (10/5): Private & restful place for a break @ Salt Loft, we intend returning again in the future. - This was our 2nd visit to Salt Loft. We enjoyed our last stay & were keen to stay again. It’s very private & quiet, & close to everything in Queenscliff. Salt Loft is ideal for a restful few days away, with everything we needed available. The treats on arrival were appreciated. Everything was great.

• Ria (10/5): Perfect home away from home. - Location was perfect, the loft was the perfect size for me and my partner. We loved being able to open the doors and windows and listen to the birds. The seperate toilet was handy and the sheets and towels were lovely. The couch was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The whole place was cosy and we loved the shower gel! From a female perspective, it was great to have a face washer and extra towels. The bed was a little bit small and slightly uncomfortable for a couple but would probably be ok for a single person.

• Tracey (9/5): Fabulous Thankyou. We will be back! - Superb location right in the main street which meant we could walk to resturants etc. It was also an easy walk to the harbour and beach. There were thoughful thing like extra towels, beach towels, loose leaf teas, a coffee machine with pods... all teh little things that make a stay so much more welcomung one tiny thing - we do like a long tall glass to drink from . There weren't any so we picked up an odd couple from the op shop next door and we have left them there. They can go back to the op shop, or perhaps be replaced by something more stylish :) Might be a good idea to mentioned the narrow parking space to guests. I'm glad we took my small sedan! It just fitted! :)

• Christopher (8/5): A jewel of an apartment - just the ticket for a stay of a few days. - Location, fit out, well appointed and suited our needs. Not being a user of microwaves, pod coffee makers or induction cookers they restricted our ability somewhat. But that is a totally personal experience and wouldn't impede other guests.

Comfortable and clean! - Loved having salt and pepper provided and great having an oven to warm goods from the bakery over the road. We walked everywhere so didn’t use our car for 3 days. Loved having sofa to relax in evening. Wonderful location near main shopping street.You need to be able to walk up/down stairs from ground to first floor to access this apartment, but this is no problem for us. Tiny space to hang clothes, many shelves provided.

The garbage smelt below the balcony so we didn’t make use of the balcony. No view, all we could see was the back of a roof and the laneway. More storage to put our bags, stairs very steep.

Close to everything Queenscliff has to offer; just park the car under the carport @ Salt Loft & walk. Everything was just right

Very central right off the main strip of shops. Had some info cards on places and spots they would recommend which made for some good ideas when we weren’t sure what to do that day.

Bed was a little soft for me, but that's personal, and others would find it in the "goldilocks"zone. The builders a few houses over were noisy from 0730, but that's out of everyone's control.

• Joanne (9/5): Excellent stay in the heart of Queenscliff! - Excellent location in the heart of town but set back from the road so it was nice and peaceful. The apartment is super clean, modern, comfortable and cosy. The bath is an excellent bonus and a great size. The sherry and other little extras of cookies and chocolates were a welcome addition. Highly recommend Salt Loft. The gutter is right behind the bedroom and was quite noisy when it rained one night but this was mentioned to the owner who will look into it. This was the only negative thing about our stay.

Salt Loft was beautifully decorated and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again. Superb! That I couldn't stay longer!!

• Emma (9/5): A cozy stay in Queenscliff - Open and spacious, great natural lighting and view over the balcony. Fiona was a lovely host and we enjoyed having a look in the gallery on the way to the room. Perfect for two people. There was an audible pest alarm in the driveway which we could hear from the bedroom, however it wasn't too loud to be bothersome.
