• Kerry (7/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay, a bit overpriced. - Great view, clean open living. Close to everything. Bed was so hard, didn’t have a good nights sleep. Lighting in bathroom poor, obviously wasn’t to have a bath, no plug ! Found the decore basic, perhaps some cushions, prints etc to soften.

• Margaret (7/5): Unique property but designed for a crowd. - The location was great. The people friendly. Fresh flowers and well equipped kitchen. It was a massive 3 bedroom apartment for 2 people. The only natural light coming from the huge sliding front door. Onto a huge outdoor area for private use but not private. The parking area was frightening. Right on the water edge. Very steep.

• Jamn_s (9/5): Great views from a nice apartment - Large rooms with comfy beds, lovely waterfront position with a view to the jetty and over the bay. Easy walk to shops, pubs and the waterfront. Nice outdoor BBQ area to enjoy the sunset. All the amenities for a self-contained stay. Good communications from the owner. A little bit noisy when deliveries to the store upstairs arrived.

Big kitchen with all amenities for cooking up a feast for the family. Excellent location next to cafe and only meters from an IGA, a bakery, a pizza joint and a Sip ‘N Save.

• Alexandra (8/5): Great Central Location - The Captain's Apartment is centrally located, well equipped and comfortable. It was easy to walk to everything in town and to wander on to the jetty. It would be a perfect location for a swim in summer.

• Marcus (7/5): Apartment 6 - The views are amazing, the location is awesome, the apartments are newly renovated and are very good despite my long didn't like review. As I said we travel often so we are just being honest, many others do better. However, do not for a minute think it's not worth the stay just be aware of our dislikes. The apartment has a bad smell after you close up and go out, it's quite bad, to be honest. They don't or didn't supply tablets etc for the dishwasher but supplied every other chemical possible. The book states 2 remotes but only found one, which meant there was no access to some options. The TV is not a smart TV therefore you can't stream or use your Netflix etc. There are TVs in any room which are rare these days and we travel a lot. The back deck of apartment 6 is used as a through fare for anyone who chooses to walk through which is bad for privacy it needs to be gated or book apartment 1or2. The main room needs a king bed, the small double bed is for teenagers, not couples. You don't get a key for the side entrance and my partner reckons it needs a full-length mirror but only girls will understand. No windows or sliding doors have light curtains to offer some privacy, it's either completely closed with blinds or block out curtains or open for all to see. No coffee options other than the plunger or pods, the pod machine works but without a milk frother it is useless, you need a frother or bin the pod machine.

I loved how easy it was to go to the shops and beach it was right near the main street we had everything we needed at our finger tips
