The water pressure in the shower is amazing The cleaner made us feel quite uncomfortable when she arrived as we were leaving at 10:30 am due to confusion with the checkout times.

• Catherine (10/5): Quiet apartment on outskirts of WaggaWagga. - A very homely apartment with good facilities in a quiet part of town. The apartment had a good air conditioning unit that heated downstairs to a comfortable level. The TV was fine and a comfortable lounge to view it from. This was separate from the kitchen and dining area. A very easy house to be in. Also a tidy front garden we parked in the street rather than use the garage to enter the house from the back . Nothing

The lock up garage was very handy to securely store our bicycles. There were several pubs, the brewery, Woolies, cafes and restaurants within walking distance and secure on site parking. The communication from the host was excellent.

• Ck (1/5): Stay ruined by poor cleanliness and a rude, unhelpful host, leaving us unwilling to return. - The apartment offered secure parking within a gated garage, which we appreciated. Access was convenient as no key collection was required — a code was provided for the door lock. The kitchen had the expected facilities, and our children particularly enjoyed going up and down the internal stairs — a small highlight during our stay. We had a very disappointing experience at this property. The apartment was not cleaned to an acceptable standard — there was dried urine around the base of the toilet, hairs in the shower and basin, and a persistent sewage smell from the bathroom floor waste, rendering the bathroom unusable. The kitchen and living areas were also unclean, with dust, cobwebs, and food debris on surfaces. The main bedroom’s bed was sloping and sagged towards the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep. We were also disturbed at night by ongoing noise from the road outside. While these issues were not raised with the host at the time, they contributed to the overall poor experience. When we raised the cleaning concerns with the property host, Peter, his response was dismissive and rude. Rather than acknowledging the issues or apologising, he repeatedly asked, “What do you want me to do?” in a confrontational tone. Although he did clean some areas, he used a cloth from a locked cupboard and returned it unwashed, which we found unhygienic and inappropriate. His attitude throughout was unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. These problems go beyond minor oversights and reflect poor standards of cleanliness and conduct. Due to this experience, we cancelled our upcoming booking, despite forfeiting the full cost.

The apartment was absolutely pristine clean. It was amazingly staged. Location excellent and very quiet at night.

We would have loved to stay for longer. The hosts were extremely helpful by allowing us to check in early after a drive up from Melbourne to attend a wedding in the afternoon. The property was spotless and very spacious. Having access to a locked garage was great. Cannot fault the property or the hosts.

• David (10/5): Exceptional - I have travelled to QLD every year for Christmas for many years. It is the first time I have stayed at Travers street apartments and I wish I had discovered it earlier. I plan to make it my go to stop destination for my annual trips from here on out. There was an undercover car space, chocolates on the pillows and even ice in the ice trays. It was fully stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and all living spaces. I can't recommend it highly enough Nothing

The dryer made a horrendous sound to the point we had to stop using it so as not to disturb the neighbours. Something in the area of the lounge triggered my allergies though not experienced anywhere else in the unit.
• Phillipa (5/5): Passable - The living area was comfortable and the kitchen dining well equipped. It is a strange layout with windowless amenities. The main bedroom has a French door but no insect screen and there is a lot of road noise if that door is open. It was also heavily scented.
