- Hua Guan (10/5): -
- Neil (10/5): 2 Night stay in Airlie Beach - Perfect location opposite the beach and just a short 4 minute drive to town and lagoon All good
- Lisa (10/5): I highly recommend. Excellent all around. Thank you! - The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable!
- Bernard (5/5): It was alright nice location, shame about the mattresses - Unit was clean and tidy Single beds in 2nd bedroom were terrible to sleep on.
Some difficulty getting out of tiolet as thedoor almost hit upon the tiolet bowl.
- Michelle (8/5): - clean, convenient location Noisy , no aircon in 2nd bedroom
- Scott (8/5): -
- Yvette (9/5): -
- Helen (10/5): Bright, modern seaside apartment, next to great beach, playground and cafes. - Really clean, well thought out, great location right on the front. We only had 2 nights, would have loved to stay longer if time allowed.
- Delisha (10/5): - Great location!
Beautiful apartment. The oven was a little difficult to work out but eventaually
- Mitchell (7/5): Comfortable stay. - Affordable accommodation in a quiet area. A clean apartment. Parking a larger vehicle on site was a challenge.
- Lanie (8/5): -
- Carl (10/5): -
- Browne-Clark (10/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kara (10/5): Perfect location and welll equipped and comfortable - Being able sit on the balcony and watch while the kids played in the park was fantastic. The apartment was well equipped, right across the road from the beach and next door to The Fat Frog. The onsite manager wasn’t overly friendly, avoid him if you can.
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views. Clean and tidy.
- Serena (10/5): Loved it! - The door lock needs replacing or repairing; and it would be good to have brighter bedside lamps to read a book (without the ceiling light on).
- Michael (10/5): Will definitely be staying again. - The location was central to everywhere. The apartment was lovely and clean. Contacting the owners was a pleasant experience, very nice to talk to. There was nothing that we didn’t like.
- Meagan (9/5): Superb - Nice and clean unit. Great location. Easy and close to either Cannovale or Airlie Beach
2 bedrooms so everyone has their own space.
Beautiful cannovale beach at the front. N/A
- Manuel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sean (6/5): Pleasant - The price was fair, the place has been renovated. Access and parking was good.
Good location across from a nice beach. The hot water took ages to come through, kitchen cabinets were clunky.
- Teresa (7/5): Great location, super clean and well appointed. They’ve done a great job modernizing and updating the accommodations. - Its location was great, easy access to Airlie main area, easy parking, ocean front, quiet, clean, very well stocked with new appliances, nice shower, easy coffee maker & toaster. It was much smaller in person than it looked in the photos.
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional - Was lovely locations and very clean and modern The parking is terrible
- Leila (8/5): Great, cozy, was far from where we needed to go everyday but we either walked or taxied. I recommend - Nice, had most appliances, air con was nice and cold, netflix, comfy beds, ice, toilet paper, towels for beach and for showers so your not using the same one, vaccum, it was thought out and was great. Great price for the $ and after long days it was great to be in the room felt cozy and homey The kitchen cabinets did get on our nerves they suck, tv was hard to turn off and on and the shower took a while to get hot and it would be boiling hot. I think the shower could use a better clean the shower heads but other than these things it was amazing only minor issues. Only bigger issue was location, was a 45 min walk to where everything was but it was fine we either walked or taxied we ubered once. Went in pool but felt watched so we left I’m sure they have randoms come for a swim and leave so understandable. Oh and the oven was so hard to figure out how to turn on
- Demi (9/5): the best would stay again! - being near the beach need more cloths
- Therese (8/5): Unit was clean and had most items to make the stay enjoyable . Check in was easy. Was a little overpriced, but in line w - Unit was close to Airlie, across the road from the beach Being in Queensland, top sheets should have been provided on the beds. The doona provided is so impractical at this time of year in Far North Queensland.
Hot water literally takes 5 minutes plus to come through. Was mentioned in the house rules booklet, but did not know this until after I attempted to have a shower.
- Ioan (8/5): Very good -
- Lockwood (5/5): Passable -
- Sabina (9/5): Superb -
- Jemmeson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (8/5): Very good - Comfortable beds
- Leanne (6/5): It was fine - Clean good location Wasn’t happy to receive a message just before we checked in about things that may not work and might require mucking around with. I would expect everything to be in working order without having to play around with things. Carpark was a bit of a nightmare
- Talbot (6/5): Great location!! - It was freshly remodeled. Cabinets are junk. Hot water takes forever.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (8/5): Very good - Clean, keyless entry, balcony, fans and air-conditioning and location Bed and pillows were too hard for us.
- Minal (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ulla (8/5): Very good -
- Dudley (8/5): Enjoyable, affordable break away in a great location. - Being right next door to Fat frog Cafe and having the playground for the kids visible from the balcony. Lots of towels available. Not enough power points in the kitchen. Not enough cutlery (eg.only 3 teaspoons for 4 guests). Old clothes drying rack needs replacing(or put overhead line)Takes almost 5 mins for hot water to come through.
- Melissa (8/5): Good clean accommodation and fits price point. Provides all you need for your stay - Property was clean and tidy and reflected the price we paid.
Bathroom new and clean. Suitable for family of 4 Cook top wasn’t easy to navigate. Outside sensor light came on numerous times during the night
- Sutton (8/5): Worth it! - Location: Fat Frogs, the beach, the bike and walking path Nothing. It was great.
- Antoinette (9/5): Clean and comfortable. - Had everything we needed, Comfy bed, excellent shower. Lots of room and a couch to relax on! Toilet was tiny and could not close the door unless you stood on the toilet.
- Aguilar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanika (7/5): Good - Very clean & tidy, a great little apartment for our family to stay in The security lights outside are very annoying when trying to go to sleep and it going off every minute maybe some better blinds or a blackout blind.. to block out the super bright lights that keep people awake all night.
- Priscilla (10/5): Relaxing weekend - Located close too the beach and walking areas. Nothing
- Lynette (9/5): Superb - Unfortunately not beach facing but everything else was really great.
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Kimberly (10/5): Awesome room - We loved the big shower, the coffee machine and how it had everything we needed No aircon in the two bedroom room
- Kerren (9/5): Superb - Very clean and modern Don’t have any negatives
- Pratima (8/5): Overall enjoyed the stay. - Location and cleanliness The sensor light outside the bedrooms were very annoying. We did not get a good sleep at all.
- Beth (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the thoughtfulness of leaving coffee pods for our use and bathroom Products too, that was great.
- Julie (8/5): Very good - The location was great and the apartment was very nice. The car parking wasn't good. We took our 4x4 and the driveway was very tight, we were lucky to be able to drive down it. The car parks were very tight and not enough for the number of rooms but didn't like the idea of leaving our car out in the street.
- Dominique (8/5): A beautiful apartment and well maintained. - The cleanliness was impressive. It had everything we needed. There was no top sheet on the bed- only a doona.
The car parks are small and difficult to get one.
- Wade (5/5): Passable -
- *carebear* (10/5): Perfect apartment near Airlie Beach - This apartment exceeded our expectations. It’s right at a beautiful beach and the apartment faces a quiet park. It’s very well styled and had everything we needed. The location was excellent being a close drive to Airlie Beach centre. We would stay again! 🩷 Nothing to note
- Marc (10/5): Stay with the private owned unit - This unit was excellent
Clean, comfortable and so easy to liaise with owner The management staff who look after the motel
I would recommend using this privately owned unit
I wouldn’t use the motel if I had to liaise with the reception staff
- Emma (9/5): Excellent place to stay, modern and well furnished - Well furnished, good size. Lots of nice little touches such as beach towels to use. On site parking. All great!
WiFi could be a little slow
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely well decorated, well planned, and really well equipped. Comfy beds, great facilities and a good night's sleep! Really impressed with it overall, would definitely recommend
- Kristie (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Macayla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): fabulous - clean , comfortable, everything we needed for a family getaway for a week, great location
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Across from beach front. Clean apartment. Wifi was next to useless, so couldn't use internet or watch Netflix.
- Hill (7/5): Great place to stay , stair only access to the unit . Paid laundry in the complex . - Great location, would be wonderful if you had young children with the playground next door , beach across the road and a swimming pool. Lovely walks nearby , Check in was easy good communication. Lovely little unit . Unfortunately thee stairs were a real challenge for my husband, I hadn't realised it was on the first floor and no lift. The toilet door was difficult to manouve around very compact space.
- Sonya (9/5): Superb -
- Taraka (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Melhuish (9/5): Superb -
- Valerie (7/5): Beautiful location - The apartment had everything we needed. It had been renovated, modern furniture, nice kitchen and bathroom. It is located directly opposite a beach, providing great views. Within walking distance to a shopping centre with Coles being located there. It was spotlessly cleaned. The apartment was accessed by a PIN number which was sent in advance of our stay. It was on the first floor, up 16 steps which were difficult for us to navigate. The outside lighting was none existent and I even fell down the bottom stair in the dark and twisted my ankle. The. Apartment was really quite small and even though there were 2 bedrooms, the living arrangements were quite small for our party if 3 adults. The car parking was very tight as well. Not suitable for larger vehicles.
- Carolyn (8/5): owners lovely, manager not so much - good location, shower was nice, couch was comfy. the manger yelled at us when we arrived.
I had my car parked and a second vehicle for our group entered the car park to unload their bags. the manger came out waving his hands yelling “you can’t park there” and “only one car”
we tried to explain we were only unloading our bags. he continued to yell “only one car is allowed move it out of here” we told him we will move it over the road once we unload. we tried to make small talk and jokes to no avail.
made us feel very uncomfortable, and we were worried about getting in trouble for anything all weekend.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brett (7/5): Won’t be back - Building management extremely rude
- Manickam (9/5): great location in Whitsundays - location, ambience, balcony price
- Gregory (9/5): relaxing and will be back - We absolutely enjoyed the extra touch of chocolate left for us as well as some chilled bottled water. Having a coffee machine with pods provided were appreciated. Perhaps some coffee satchels for the people who prefer would be awesome x Nothing
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Good value for money. Good location for young kids.
- Jennifer (8/5): 2 bedroom unit with playground view - Wonderful location. Close to walking track along Esplanade and 10 minute walking path to shops, including Coles through park. Unfortunately the photos advertising the unit were from other units not associated with this air bnb. I finally found one photo towards the end with the playground view. All photos showed front units with balconies overlooking the ocean. I wouldn't have minded the unit at the back with the playground view but my expectations were of something else so was quite annoyed.
- Josh (9/5): Superb -
- Shanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Maurice (6/5): This would be fine for basic holiday needs. - Breakfast wasn't supplied. We provided our own, or used the Fat Frog Cafe next door. Bed room was tiny. The toilet was tiny, it was very awkward to go in it and out. I had to run the hot water for 5 or more minutes for shower (low water pressure) and washing hot water.
No DVD like most motels, although they did provide Netflix and YouTube.
- Mia (8/5): It was a nice flat. Very Clean and fresh. - Easy to get in with door code I missed your note informing “not to go to reception”. There was a man sitting there at the reception window looking at me, so naturally I just asked him. He was rather rude, the lady was friendlier and informed me they have nothing to do with air b&b. All good, and we found our room smoothly after that.
- Kowsigan (8/5): Very good -
- Tee (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Clean, modern, handy location, affordable - Clean and modern Main bed wasn’t comfortable and the hot water took a long time to come through in shower! Carpark not designed for 4WDs.
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Mahendra (6/5): Will not stay there again given the negative comments I have presented. - 1. Location is central to tourist precinct.
2. Clean apartment 1. Reluctance to provide beverage pods and sugar for two days. Provided with 5 initially and then when asked if I booked through Booking.com, there was willingness to supply coffee pods. Very disappointing with this attitude and approach when top dollar was paid to rent the apartment for 2 nights.
2. No hot water to have a shower at 5 am. Quite annoying.
As a rule I don't give bad or negative reviews. But thought I should be honest and true to others and myself.
