• Smith (8/5): Great value for money and brilliant location - The location is outstanding. Great value for money. I didn’t love having from collect the keys from a different place to the property, we were under time pressure and it created stress.
• Peter (7/5): Our arrival was very frustrating but once we were in we enjoyed the local eating places. - Location to restaurants. Finding the place on Google maps. Arrived on Friday afternoon in peak traffic, heavy rain and no power - and no answer to my call for help. Not even local hotels could guide me to the building shown my booking sheet. Booking.com must be more clear of the building name not just MA Apartments. No onsite reception and getting keys from another location. Talking to AI that sent many words to my WhatsApp messages.

• Marthinus (10/5): Comfortable stay. - Clean and comfortable apartment. Great location. Collecting and dropping of keys is some distance away, which is a bit inconvenient.

Access to managers excellent with prompt responses to any questions. Would recommend. In a safe and popular location. Very quiet apartment location. Great restaurants within walking distance. See photos. Ps iron is in small bathroom! We never found it! 🤣. Thankyou for a great stay. Not finding the iron ;-)

• Dianne (9/5): Perfect spot - Nice lounge with tv and spacious kitchen 2 nice bedrooms with own bathrooms upstairs It was difficult to find the place (in the evening when it was dark). You have to pick up the keys first at another location.

• Luqmaan (10/5): Melrose Arch Outstanding Apartment - I loved absolutely everything about the apartment! The hosts were super accommodating and responsive to all my requests. They have really pleased & taken care of me during my entire stay. The apartment itself was really spacious & and luxurious, which is what I love especially when travelling. Above all, the location was perfect! Super secure and walking distance to everything in Melrose Arch. I would highly recommend this apartment. You will have no regrets. I will certainly be back & cannot wait to stay again. Looking forward to it. Thank you! I didn't like the fact that I couldn't stay longer !!

• Joanne (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were right at home. Really perfect location, peaceful and well equipped apartment. Wi - Great location, property was clean and well equipped. An Aircon would’ve made it perfect!

You have to issue two keys and two discs, this is a 4 sleeper not a 1 sleeper 2. 2 pin adapters are essential for charging cellphones and power banks 3. Underground parking access helps with luggage 4. Unfortunately we may not consider the place in summer as an aircon is essential for us

• Mari-lize (8/5): Very good - Location was great. We are Jo’burgers, but had to flee a 4-day water outage in our area, and it was everything we needed. Right inside Melrose Arch meant restaurants and especially Starbucks was a hop and a skip and a jump away. The apartment block has a generator which was brilliant during loadshedding. The team was fantastic on comms, very polite and friendly. Linen could do with a quality upgrade.

• Janine (9/5): Awesome location for a group on the same timetable - Brilliant location in safe walking distance of everything we needed, including great coffee bars and excellent restaurants, and close to big-brand hotels so that it is easy for Uber drivers to find. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, although the TVs in the bedrooms didn't work. The security in the complex/area is excellent, which is paramount in Johannesburg. There is only one key and one access tag for four people, each with different itineraries. The last person out of the apartment takes the key and that's it for the day - too bad if someone else wants to come home early. The only solution is to leave the key with security office, which is not on the premises. This requires running up and down and over the road, so for us it was not an option. Also, the buzzer in the apartment to let people in from downstairs has been disabled; & there is no access to the building without the tag, so the person upstairs with the key & tag has to come down to let the others into the building, no matter how late at night or early in the morning. In short, this arrangement is great for people coming and going at the same time, but a nightmare for anyone else. I would have liked an ironing board in better condition, but it's not a deal breaker.
