• Carl (8/5): Very clean and comfortable with Apple TV, great pano views of ocean and friendly host. - Great location just outside Port Lincoln city. Close to beach and good pano views of ocean and sunrise :) There wasnt a lot of room to park a large trailer (as requested) but luckily I chose not to bring my trailer due to fuel prices.

Door actually not possible to lock No night lights on the descending pathway to front entry. No sms response to a request sent days’ before a one hour earlier arrival time. We also tried on the day but owner message bank full. Was 5 mins before the actual advertised arrival time that we received contact from the owner

The host was easily contactable if there was anything we needed and was happy to help. There was nothing we didn’t like.

• Xiachun (7/5): - Spacious and bright with a great view. The place was very clean with no smell at all. Bed sheets and covers were fresh and clean. Everything we needed was provided, including basic kitchen supplies and simple seasonings. The property itself is in a very quiet location, but unfortunately the appliances are very old. We happened to stay when both the stove and the toilet flush button were broken. Most of the appliances seem to be at least 30 years old. The fridge caused strong vibrations throughout the room, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy. At night, we had to turn off both the fridge and the air conditioner in order to sleep. Unfortunately, we also stayed during very windy weather. The outdoor bins were positioned right outside the bedroom window and kept banging loudly all night, making it impossible to sleep. This resulted in severe fatigue and even contributed to a minor traffic accident the next day. Many of these noise issues could have been avoided. With some improvements and better appliance upgrades, the overall stay experience could be greatly improved.
• Janett (10/5): Gemütliches Apartment mit Meerblick und geräumiger Ausstattung - Ich habe meine Zeit im Flaxmann Studio sehr genossen - Die Unterkunft ist hell und sauber und verfügt über alle wichtigen Sachen - von der voll ausgestatteten Küche, komfortablem Bett und Sofa bis hin zum Badezimmer. Auch wenn die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, befindet sich alles im einwandfreien Zustand. Der Kontakt zum Host war einfach und sie hat sich bestens um meine Anliegen und Fragen gekümmert. Cafés, Restaurants, Supermärkte, sowie das Zentrum von Port Lincoln sind mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Mein absolutes Highlight der Unterkunft ist jedoch der direkte Blick aufs Meer! Wer eine schöne, ruhige und zentral gelegene Unterkunft in Port Lincoln sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

• Yudi (1/5): Awful - The location. We were disappointed with our stay at this studio. When we arrived, the refrigerator had a bad odor — there were rotten strawberries and an old apple left from the previous guest, which showed that it hadn’t been cleaned. Some of the cutlery was also dirty, with visible red sauce on one of the forks. The built-in induction stove was not allowed to be used, and the portable one provided was extremely weak, making it almost impossible to cook. The hot water ran out quickly during showers, and the air conditioner was old and made loud noises throughout the night. The “ocean view” shown in the pictures was misleading — in reality, it was mostly blocked on both sides. After we left, I realized I had accidentally left some personal items in the room and contacted the host immediately. She only replied five hours later, by which time we had already left Port Lincoln. Although I told her it was fine and thanked her politely, she responded in a very unpleasant tone, saying that we should have cleaned and organized the studio to make it look exactly as it did when we checked in — and even threatened to give us a bad review because we didn’t. This was confusing and unreasonable, as this is Booking.com, not Airbnb, and there were no clear instructions or requirements stating that guests must return the property in such condition. We were only two guests, cooked a simple meal, and left no significant mess. Overall, the apartment was not clean upon arrival, the facilities were not as described, and the host’s attitude made the experience uncomfortable. Definitely not the kind of hospitality we expected.

• Sylvia (8/5): Great location - The location was excellent and the apartment well appointed, although it does need a little maintenance. Great water pressure and hot water in the shower and the bed was very comfortable . There was very little to dislike. To be picky, somewhere on the bathroom to put wash bags would be useful.

• Dylan (7/5): So much promise with this location - Views were amazing. Close proximity to town & coastal trails. Effective heating & spacious studio. A few simple things would add a lot to this place and elevate it to the next level & facilitate longer stays. eg. Insufficient kitchen utensils & saucepans to cook and properly clean up after a pasta meal. No clothes horse/line for towels or clothes. No bathroom bin. Only 1 bedside lamp for a queen bed. Note there is no washing machine available at this accommodation. TV controls were clunky (some buttons not working), but you could eventually get to where you wanted to be!

• Holly (10/5): A comfy cozy nest to take in the warm sunrises and have a wonderful restful sleep. - The view was incredible and the room was super comfortable and had a very relaxed feel. Loved that there was a seperate seating area to watch TV and a table to eat from The property was great , however it is alittle further away from town centre so possibly having bikes for people to use while staying would be amazing.

We needed better shelves in the bathroom, and a few more kitchen items such as a dish-rack, scourer, serrated edged knife.

Visit Port Lincoln regularly throughout the year and will certainly make this our preferred accommodation. Could not find any faults.

• Suzanne (9/5): A little gem in Port Lincoln. - It was wonderful to arrive and find everything exactly as we had expected after viewing the property online (apart from the kitchen tiles having painted white, which looked good). The location was great, with lovely panoramic views. The studio had a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean and functional, but could do with updating - I'm not keen on shower curtains.
• David (9/5): Great tidy place to stay in Lincoln for a short stay. - Awesome place. Take it all for granted now as have stayed there many times. View across bay is great. Chilled out retro vibe in studio. Quiet and enjoyable stay for a couple of days. Place is open and gets a bit cold in Winter. Using old AC is noisy and struggles to keep up. Probably needs replacement.

• Trevor (6/5): Pleasant - I like the area that the Flaxman studio was in. It was quiet and central. No attention to detail. I had to sweep up the Front door area. The gardens need a good cleaning and clipping so you can enjoy what view there is. Also one of the door could not be secured at night or while we were out. It’s was a little outdated for my liking.

However it does have a full kitchen which was great :).
