Guest Reviews
- Panayotou (5/5): - The house was invested with millipedes to the point where they were climbing all over the walls and floors. They really need to reseal the doors / windows.
- Julie (9/5): - The location was beautiful. The house was huge and comfortable. The cooking equipment was a bit sparse.
The millipedes were a bit annoying.
- Lesley (10/5): - Wow! spectacular views of rolling vineyards & sea prolific wildlife large rooms with comfortable beds & excellent quality of catered food plus winery lovely.
- Brittany (9/5): Nice house - Very nice house, beautiful stone and Italian style tiles. Clean bathrooms. Huge house Unfortunately couldn't close the windows fully and so many mosquitos came inside even when we tried to keep the light off. Would recommend bringing mosquito coils and spray if coming in summer
- Dayzz (9/5): Amazing location! - Highly recommend the guest house, plenty of space for 6 people.
Loved the location only 100 metres to the cellar door and a short walk to other wineries.
Thank you for the complimentary wine tasting at the cellar door, and breakfast supplies were a lovely surprise.
Will definitely stay here again! Nothing, great value for money!
- Wendy A. (10/5): - It's a fantastic venue for three couples... plenty of shared space and the bedooms are very generous in size to include their own retreat. A beautiful stay.
- Anne (9/5): - Lovely outlook, lovely beds, lovely fireplace. Not totally clean but ok.
- Cox (10/5): -
- Atchara (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chi (10/5): Excellent location and hospitality - Location was great with views of rolling hills covered in vines with the sea in the distance.
We had 2 bottles of complimentary wine and also complimentary wine tasting in their cellar door.
The breakfast provision was top notch with ham, eggs, juice, milk, tomatoes and fruit basket.
We had the whole vineyard to ourselves after 5.00pm, if you don't count the kangaroos. The weather, we had 2 very warm days, but that's not the fault of the host
- Eddi (8/5): We had a pleasant stay with our friends and enjoyed the facilities. - Great breakfast provisions. There were no rugs on the cold floors, so it wasn't as cosy as it could have been.
- Jillian (10/5): Fantastic. Absolutely will return. - Number of bathrooms same as number of generous bedrooms made it perfect for a group comprising 3 couples. Fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area made catering easy in the evening. Lounge area fabulous and open fireplace a luxury.
- Giselle (10/5): A wonderful chalet style retreat in the McLaren Vale region extremely well located in order to enjoy - As always there is a bowl of fruit, fresh bread,, eggs, bacon and juice plus a bottle of complimentary wine. A home away from home. Plus the bonus of having 4 bathrooms which is especially nice. Also complimentary wine tasting in the Chapel is always a wonderful experience.
- Katriona (9/5): Excellent- would recommend - Location, service and facilities No operating instructions for appliances. Floodlight at night shining into upstairs be room at night.
- Cindy (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (8/5): Relaxing & enjoyable long weekend with friends. - Quiet location with wonderful views. The breakfast supplies, wine & wine tasting were lovely inclusions. Our hosts/staff were all friendly, knowledgeable & professional.
- Robyn (10/5): We will definitely return. - Location and it was just a great place to stay. Nothing.
- John (10/5): Wonderful stay - Great faculty, wonderful views so quiet
Loves every minute we were there Nothing to dislike
- Don (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (9/5): I’d go again and recommend it to others. - spacious, very comfortable, great view, close proximity to wineryies

- Alexa (7/5): Good -
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynne (10/5): really quaint and peaceful - had eggs, bacon, milk and orange juice in the fridge for us didn’t get to stay long enough. could have spent a week there.
- Giselle (8/5): Extremely enjoyable stay, amazing and beautiful quiet location in the midst of Mc Laren Vale - The breakfast, fruit and pantry provisions were great and our wine tasting with Teagen was absolutely amazing. What a wonderful experience and Teagen really looked after us so well. I highly recommend doing the tasting. In comparison to our last visit the provisions were nearly 50% less than our previous stay. I can only imagine with the escalating cost of fruit and vegetables this has obviously impacted on how the kitchen is stocked.
- Debbie (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (8/5): great - location and set up
- Stephen (9/5): what a view - great location, amazing property to stay in and base yourself for touring the McLaren Vale region
- John (10/5): A relaxing stay in the vineyard - The view! Large rooms, comfortable beds, fireplace. The breakfast provisions were a lovely bonus. Overall ambience. The kitchen was missing some basics eg mixing bowl, paper towel, cling wrap and only 1 frypan.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
