• Marilyn (5/5): - The apartment was spacious, well located and with a great supply of hot water. There was no-one at reception when we arrived. The apartment needed a good clean and some TLC. The smoke alarms had been removed from the ceiling!!! The bed was comfortable but noisy when you rolled over.

• Muriawati (8/5): Perfect but wifi is not. - Got everything you need , like washing machine and dryer , attachment with kitchen and flat top , dining table , balcony , etc Internet . The wifi is on and off. He suggested to use the other name of wifi . But we stay there without wifi connection even the room so comfortable , i think he must check the router or put extra extension inside the room.

• Adrianne (7/5): We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit. Great location - Location was good 20 minute walk into town. The place could have a clean. The dining room chair cushions were dirty, and the mat in the lounge was old and dirty. The blind in the bedroom was dirty. The tape on the kitchen cupboards was not very good and the whole in the bathroom wall that was covered with board.

• Janet (7/5): Our stay was very pleasant and although the unit is somewhat dated it didn't bother us. - The bed and pillows were super comfortable with high quality linen. Kitchen was well equipped and a nice size refrigerator. Sven allowed me to have my small dog stay with me and there was a nice quiet street behind the unit that I was able to take her for walks. I didn't get around to using the pool area but it looked very inviting. Parking was onsite which was great. Sven was a very nice host and I would stay in this unit again. An extra door key would have been handy as there were 2 of us staying. Also, the microwave wasn't working properly (we had to keep re-setting it by turning if off and on at the power switch on the wall) but we still were able to use it. The glass door to the patio was difficult to slide and there was no fly screen.

The host was lovely and considerate. The bed was comfortable enough but a bit too soft in the centre for myself and my partner and the patio door was quite difficult to open and close.

Short beautiful walk to Four Mile Beach across golf course and pathways of Sheraton Mirage which is across Port Douglas Road . Television was difficult to use, asked for login and sometimes did not switch to YouTube.

• Kate (7/5): Good value base for exploring Far North QLD - Excellent customer service, easy and secure parking, comfortable apartment (aside from bed) and our six year old was well accommodated with a rollaway bed Bed was very uncomfortable, I was rolling into the centre of the soft and what must be very old mattress which had no support and was collapsing in the middle. I slept terribly the whole time which spoiled my trip. Very difficult to access the beach.

It could do with an update - flaking paint, water damage on kitchen cupboards Also, there was quite a bit of dust in some places eg pole in the bathroom, fake flowers in the bathroom, slats on the bathroom door.

We even took advantage of washing and drying our clothes while we were there and there was even washing powder. Great location. close to everything. Plenty of information was provided at the property and communication with the owner was very detailed and clear. There was nothing that was missing. Sven had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Even a jar of vegemite :) My partner thought the bed was a bit soft, but I slept well. That is the only thing I could criticize if I had to but otherwise there was absolutely nothing we didn't like about our stay except that it wasn't long enough.

It was excellently stocked with lots of basic items, loo and kitchen rolls, dishwasher tablets, etc. etc. It has a very good pool and secure parking. Owner gave good directions and access information. Would come back again. Leaving!

The pool is small but heated and the complex is not as busy as other big chains which was perfect for our little family. The bed was quite uncomfortable for us however that’s the only thing we could pick on for our stay!
