Guest Reviews
- Lachlan (10/5): Good location, had everything you need and pet friendly! - Very good location and Ripples had everything we needed and more from extra beach towels to a perfect sized bath!
Even better that it is pet friendly!
The hosts were also very responsive for any questions we had.
- Hayley (7/5): -
- Nerissa (6/5): Hot and sweaty! - The dishwasher . No method of cooling, the town house was stuffy and hard to get outside air into. The grass was not mowed before we arrived . One of the ceiling fans upstairs was ticking loudly. The Android TV was hard to work. As this was our first holiday in 3 years we were disappointed.
- SHAOBO (9/5): - There are too few pots and pans for the kitchen. Replace the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner with large-sized bottles.
- Ashleigh (10/5): -
- Scott (9/5): Overall a good stay, nice and close to big shopping centre, beach, Hoey Moey and Bowls Club - Clean and good amenities, enough stuff in the kitchen to cook and clean. Plenty of stock for dishwasher, washing machine, toilet paper etc Bit of a dodgy neighbourhood but that’s out of your control. Weber cleaning tool would have been handy to clean the bbq, had to use scourer and bbq wipes which was messy and time consuming
- Melissa (7/5): - I have a family of 5 and it stated that the townhouse has 2 bathrooms. The apartment does not have 2 bathrooms it has a bathroom and a toilet. If I’d known it only had 1 bathroom I would not have booked. Getting ready for a sport tournament made it difficult for us all to have a shower and get ready without being in one another’s space tricky.
- Damien (10/5): Perfect - Everything about Ripples at Parkbeach was perfect for our stay during the Oztag Junior National Championships, great location so clean and comfortable Nothing
- Lisa (9/5): Great location, perfect for our short stay and would definitely stay there again - Loved the furnishings, bedrooms were very comfy! And the shower was brilliant. There was nothing that we didn’t like.
- Sonia (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (10/5): Couldn’t have asked for more from this exceptionally clean comfortable and well equipped property. - We liked everything about this property. Location was walking distance to beach, shops, cafes etc and close driving distance to all the tourist spots we wanted to visit. There was nothing I could say we didn’t like.
- Vic (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (7/5): Good - Booking and prebooking was a little convoluted
- Schlecht (2/5): Very disappointed, would not stay here again. - It had mostly everything you could need for your stay - i.e., kitchen utensils, toilet paper, extra towels and linen, soap, dishwashing liquid, washing machine, dryer, etc. You could walk to the beach and also a nearby shopping centre that has Woolworths, Big W, IGA, KFC, Aldi, etc. Where to start... Very disappointed...
Firstly, host double dipped and took TWO lots of $500 security deposit ($1000). When we arrived, it was obvious that the property was not cleaned well. There was rubbish all through the back yard/courtyard, rubbish left inside the house/unit, spider webs and spiders left, and just overall not cleaned very well. Additionally, there were lots of animal feces/droppings and urine inside the property (looked to be from rats) in the garage area, which is connected to the main living area and kitchen! There was also a cockroach infestation. I contacted the host who did promptly offer to send cleaners and pest control; however, this was a disruption to our stay and plans. The host claimed the pest control was done in June, however, a neighbouring tenant (it's a group of units/duplexes joined together) told us that pest control hadn't been done for a long time as there was no one here for the pest control people to be let into the property when they completed pest control on the other neighbouring units. Further to this, the pest control guy the host sent out actually told us that he'd been trying to access the property for months to do the pest control but wasn't able to. The host claimed there were no animal feces etc. when they "cleaned and inspected" the property prior to our arrival, which insinuates that the rats must come daily and lots of them. However, once pest control came and it was cleaned up, no more appeared for the remainder of our stay, which to me says that it was definitely there a while and just not bothered to be cleaned up. Also, there are NOT 2 bathrooms like advertised, it's ONE bathroom and an extra toilet downstairs in the laundry. And, there's no air-conditioning or heating, just a couple of very small heaters that you have to sit directly in front of to feel any warmth.
- Kymm (3/5): not as nice as I thought - close to beaches and shops and nice modern accommodation, easy to access ant and cockroach problem, property was very warm throughout, lounge smelt and only one fan was working properly in the lounge room
- Tim (9/5): Great little townhouse for a family. Everything you need. - Nice amount of space for a family. Good kitchen and bbq facilities. Nice location, very close to the main shopping centre. Quiet area. The $500 hold on my credit card that was taken weeks prior to arriving.
- Malynda (9/5): A beautiful, well appointed place to stay. - great location and the beds very comfortable. excellent kitchen and laundry. it was very difficult to get into and back out of the garage. Also, no coffee was provided, only sugar. I’m not adept at making my own barista style coffee from scratch!
