Guest Reviews
- Michael (7/5): - Location Small, dark, few amenities - too expensive for what you get
- Sarah (10/5): A bright and comfortable stay in paradise - Beautiful beachy feel. Modern design, beautiful new bathroom and kitchen. Everything you need to cook meals in the kitchen. Great location & views Nothing
- Catlin Evans (10/5): - Great location and comfortable place to stay. Have stayed twice now. Nothing
- Lucas (8/5): -
- Wakefield (9/5): -
- Heather (10/5): Great stay - Great sized unit so close to the beach, really well presented and great communication from our host. Would definitely stay again! Nothing
- Pete (9/5): -
- Nicole (8/5): We loved our week there & would definitely stay there again - The location was fantastic. The kitchen & bathroom were great. The main bedroom was very comfortable. Also the front decking area was an added bonus. The second bedroom wasn’t very child friendly. I wouldn’t leave a child alone up there. We ended up putting our almost 3 year old granddaughter on the sofa bed in our room. It wasn’t a major issue for our family, just worth a mention.
- Leonie (9/5): Even in the rain, a fabulous stay - Loved the location, walking down to the Surf Club and Main Beach, up to the shops, kangaroos bounding by, views through the pandanas of the sea, comfy beds, comfy layout. The stairs are almost a ladder, so beware, as tricky if need to access toilet at night.
- Kaytravel (9/5): A nice stay - Proximity to the main Beach, gorge walk and shops. Great parking. Clean linens. Nice deck. The ceiling fan in the living room was bad.
Plates could have been scrubbed better.
- Belinda (8/5): Great stay!! Fun little place that was a perfect little crash pad for some long beach days!! - Clean and comfy. Easy location. Was lacking a few additions like tea and milk, laundry powder etc
- Stephanie (8/5): I loved this place so much, I’d love to make it my own one day! - Everything
- Dorothy (8/5): Clean comfortable accommodation and very good location - The location was very good
- Jenny (7/5): Great location, great little unit, I would go back, although it needed some maintenance. - The location was excellent being within walking distance to several beaches, the gorge walk and the Point lookout Surf Club, bakery, restaurants, and gelati shop. Great little deck on the front. For the price of the unit, there should have been complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied.
There were cockroaches in the kitchen. No window screens to keep the bugs out, and the front door didn't lock, although the front screen door did lock. Floors were worn. The unit needed some maintenance.
- Judith (8/5): Very good - Location and facilities It’s getting so expensive to stay at Minjerribah!
- Sherman (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (8/5): Beautiful location, very clean, - Location incredible
Board games
Master bed so comfortable
Shower amazing
Wallabies!
Air conditioning and fans
Ice in the freezer
Condiments
Good kitchen with everything Small uncomfortable single beds,
uncomfortable futon
Much smaller in person than in photos
No actual rooms, loft was fully open to downstairs and the master didn’t have glass on the window to the main area so everyone could hear every shuffle of blanket through the night.
Very small pool
- Marieke (10/5): Had an incredible stay! Loved the location and the setup - Location & setup Was missing small things like hair dryer
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catlin (10/5): Loved our first visit to North Stradbroke Island and this was such a comfortable place to enjoy it from - Loved the location, pool, verandah Would have liked more than one tea towel and cleaning cloth and a bit more paper towel
- Anonymous (9/5): We had a good time on our trip. Just one thing that we don’t like was that there aren’t many restaurants around the area - It is very clean, neat and cozy. Very close to the beach. Nothing!
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Very good - more comfortable chairs in the lounge would have been good ;)
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - Great location, clean and had everything we needed.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Size of the kitchen Front door did not lock
- Bradley (8/5): Perfect place to go relax and do very little - The proximity to the beaches and walks was less than 5 mins. Weekends can be a little busy with general access carpark at front of complex but not an issue when you have an allocated parking spot. Point Lookout has limited places to eat with high island costs. Accommodation has well stocked kitchen to make it self sufficient in this regard.
- Marianne (9/5): Lovely, clean and tidy unit in a great location. Mel was very helpful too in organising our stay. - thank you. - Very nice place, compact and clean. Great location. Needs an ironing board and iron.
