- Kyberd (10/5): Exceptional - spacious. great facilities. easy parking. close to everything. great stay for families with beach and parks close by. loved the seals on the foreshore. quiet location. ample cooking utensils and 2 fridges. great wifi. would definitely go again. would be good to have 2 door keys as we found it difficult to both go out at different times during the day with only one key to get in/lock the door/open the gate.

Manager of property was helpful when we got locked out and self check in and out made life easier. No staples provided tea,milk or sugar as some hotels/bnbs do.
Would have been good to have beach towels and access in and out of the property through the pedestrian gate.

Aircon/heating
Nespresso Coffee Machine I booked this property in Jan 2023 and didn’t travel until Oct 2023. The proprietor had plenty of time to warn us about the Coastal Development Plans directly outside the property (beach front view side). She claimed that “they should have finished those by now”. She would have been told in advance about this work by Council when and where the work was being carried out, but alas she decided to with hold this information from us. Had we been made aware of this work we would have booked somewhere else along the beach, and she knew this. Every day from 8am until 4pm we had to endure diggers, rollers, trucks directly in front of the property. Noise, noise, noise! Dust, dust, dust. It was everywhere. We couldn’t sit on the balcony it was so dirty.
Mid stay she sent me a message to say that ‘potholes’ were being filled in the driveway. Not potholing but removal of chipped concrete slabs , replaced by same. Hammer Drilling all day from 8am. We suffered Noise to the front and back of the property at this point.
Broken lock - returned from visiting family in Hobart at 11.30pm one night to find a broken front door lock. We could not get into property. Called proprietor who called a locksmith. I established this night that the proprietor lives in another apartment in the block. Who comes out to their car to get ‘something’ from the boot at that time of night and returns to the house with nothing?
Cracked sink in the family bathroom (clearly she knew about this!) and no plug to one of the sinks.
No brush or mop in the property to sweep/clean the floor? Two buckets and lots of window washing equipment?
On leaving, a window cleaner moved from cleaning the property the man came out of on the ‘broken lock’ night to come clean our apartments windows. This confirmed to me the owner of the property lives in the same block

- Margaret (8/5): It is a beautiful unit that is great for families. - The view was spectacular and centrally located to shops and restaurants I could not use the pots and pans as they were old and dirt. The pan looked like it hasn’t been cleaned and the black coating inside the pots is coming off.
