• Stephen (9/5): Location!!!!!!! - The location!!!!!! Beach two steps away, unreal. Fantastic airy unit, fantastic bedroom, slept so well. Somerton Kiosk up the street, loved my stay Just the configuration of the living room, if I was to nitpick. Get the TV up on the wall by the back door and another couch in there, instead of those two chairs and be perfect. Otherwise, loved everything about this place

• Richard (9/5): Cosy, quiet stay, in an awesome location! - It was cozy and comfortable, and the view was amazing! It was so relaxing, sitting on the lounge, looking out at the sea rolling in. We really didn’t want to leave. Parking was tight, but ok.

• Emma (8/5): This was a great little unit that provided us with everything we needed for our stay. - Nicely renovated with fresh whites and greys, good location, good hot water system and water presssure. None of the screens could be locked - so you couldn’t create any airflow in the unit. Venetian blinds in bedroom needed cleaning.
• Sean (10/5): Sensational - Location Location of TV (could put a bracket on the wall to extend and turn TV). Could do with a smart TV so you can send your phone app (i.e. Kayo) to the TV to watch.

• Andrei (8/5): A nice place really close to the beach - The location is absolutely fantastic with ocean views from indoors and outdoors and the beach itself literally meters away. The whole place well appointed, kitchen very functional for its size. Certain lack of privacy - the price, I guess, to be paid for living on the ground floor next to the beach; check the photos and the map to make sure it suits you (I did, so not really complaining here). Some cosmetic repairs are either required or left too obvious traces; once again, must be the proximity of the ocean to blame. Key locker a bit hard to operate after dark: no ambient light to help and too much glare from the metal if using mobile phone torch.

Air con in bedroom Bed was very comfy No wifi available (small thing.) No extra towels (again small thing) Blinds not block out in bedroom

So close to cafes and surf clubs to eat never needed to move car. Great lawn area to ourselves where we sat and watched sunset most nights and shared a glass of red..Glenelg 20 min walk on beach.Perfect beach holiday to switch of.and reset.Sue Coleman.... What was there not to like perfect getaway to reset.

• Andrew (10/5): Great spot for a quick low key getaway. Location is 10/10! - Great location. Great outdoor area. Everything was as described. Layout of living room wasn’t great for utilising the TV. TV itself could use an update perhaps to a smart device to allow for casting / streaming.

All good …. Clearer instructions for finding it would be helpful so an easy fix.

• 1gregh (5/5): Okay - But....... - Good communication from owner prior to entry The internal layout of unit furnishings is not practical or efficient - tv placed in an impossible position to watch, uncomfortable lounge, very much a "fish bowl" experience with no real privacy, kitchen well equipped but drawers overloaded with excessive old items. No pegs available for drying clothes, no wi-fi (advised in on line description, but gee, lets get modern!), premises were not very clean with a heavy build up on kitchen screens. The whole setup needs a "woman's touch"
• Robert (3/5): Could have done a lot better for the money. - LOCATION. Very old house updated to a reasonable degree but not worth $180 per night. NO INTERNET ACCESS. Very disappointing in this modern day and age.

• Minh (7/5): The unit is at good location but the room is a bit boring - comfortable for cooking even though too many old kitchen stuff , instant hot water, bed with right softness (not to soft, not to hard) black color of some towels , black cover bed sheet , black pillows ( black color can hide dirty marks); rooms without decoration is boring ; instant coffee jar without manufacturer label or expiry date - it should be better with some fresh coffee sachets ; glass glide door and glass windows are not clean for good viewing sunset

There was an air conditioner in the bedroom and a 3 bar oil heater for the entire apartment This did not heat the apartment and we were so cold. I would suggest that they install a reverse cycle in the main area of the apartment to fix this.

We loved the fact that we were straight across the road from the beach, which got us out walking. Good selection of meal options at Jetty Road Brighton, which was a 2km stroll away. Felt safe walking there, even after dark. nothing

• Wendy (8/5): Perfect location and magnificent sunsets. - Excellent location, parking on site, everything we needed except a new bin liner! Very quiet for being on the Esplanade. New appliances and a nice bathroom that has obviously been renovated recently. Great hair dryer too! Locks were a little flimsy, could have done with a deadlock or a bolt as well. Need aircon in main area for the really hot days. The sun beats in the front windows.
• Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - My husband & I enjoyed our stay. Will love to stay again next time we visit Adelaide. I especially loved sitting outside in the mornings drinking my coffee and looking out on the amazing view. There wasn't much that we didn't like but if we had to say something maybe where the tv and couch was. You couldn't watch tv comfortably.

Approximately 1 mile walk in either direction to wonderful places to eat and shop. 5 min walk to coffee shop and nearby restaurant. 1 min walk to be on the gorgeous coast . Everything was perfect and great communication by the host! Thanks so much ! Would definitely stay here every time when in Adelaide !

• Mandy (8/5): Great location and views of water. - Great location and nice sunny lounge room with view of the water Bedding was not very nice - cheap polyester duvet cover and bad pillows. Also no herbal tea bags. would be nice to leave guests some choice of teas. Some beach towels would also be helpful.
• Brenton (7/5): Great location and good value for a short stay! - Location on the Esplanade (beach front) was great! A short walk to the sea! A short drive to Broadway, Glenelg and Jetty Road Brighton for cafes and pubs gives a wide range of choice for meals. Covered off-street parking at the rear and easy entrance by lock box was convenient. Property has been refitted well in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, with medium size fridge and good cooktop. Complete supply of cooking apparatus and crockery, glasses, etc. - better than most! TV is poorly placed, though small enough to move to low table top - however, the remote did not work, so neither did the TV.

• Wendy (9/5): Other than the uncomfortable bed, we absolutely loved everything else about our stay. - The location and view was amazing. Loved watching the sunset over the ocean. The bed was terrible, could feel the springs. Need to add a memory gel topper at least 10cm for comfort. Also would be better with a bigger size quilt on bed, every time one of us turned over the other one was left with out cover.

Host was more than happy to help and communication was reasonably quick. Facilities were as expected, we hope to use this property again in the future. The time of our stay was too short, we only had 2 nights and would have been better a couple more for us.

• Maren (6/5): Pleasant - Location lovely. Nice tidy apartment. Quiet good functioning heatpump. No internet. If you're from overseas,as we are, that's a big disadvantage. Communication not so fantastic. Some Informationen lacking. Which apartment it is exactly. No possibility to dry washing. Couldn't figure out the oven to get working. Duvet very thin, even with blankets very cold for winter temperatures.

An easy 5 minute walk to the surf life saving club for dinner..or a short drive to the centre of Glenelg. The kitchen had all facilities needed and was big and clean. The doona cover and blankets were a tad old and thin.needs replacing..
