- Jean (10/5): Séjour agréable - Entreprise familiale gérée par un père et sa fille qui sont vraiment très sympathiques. C'est ma deuxième visite et j'y retournerai sans hésiter. L'endroit est très bien tenu, calme et confortable, tout près du lac. Il y a aussi une boulangerie-pâtisserie à proximité. Lit confortable

- Eva (7/5): Good price value option - The apartment was large, very comfortable for a family of 5. Location is good with beautiful views to the lake from the balcony. Beds comfortable. The host was very helpful and responsive providing what we needed (despite she was not speaking English we managed well) The apartment has some years and would benefit from some renewal and cleaning. The kitchenware (cutterly, plates, glasses, pots and pans) were very limited. Overall, the kitchen could be easily improved to make a better stay.

On ne pouvait pas demeurer à l’extérieur tellement ils fumaient sans arrêt. Le plancher de la salle de bain aurait pu être plus propre. La vaisselle était mal lavée et on a dû la laver avant de l’utiliser.

Every apartment has its own parking spot. Check-in and -out were quick (even considering a bit of language barrier problems).

- Jean-Marie (9/5): A great find at a very fair price with great host. - The space is fantastic, plenty of room and cabinets to store our clothes and gears. The kitchen is well stocked with the main amenities we need and as a bonus there is an outdoor gazebo with BBQ for grilling your food. The personnel and the owner Annik is very pleasant and so friendly. The apartment we had is in the front section by a big tree and sitting outside on our little terrasse with our drink was really relaxing. We will come again. It's not a luxury place but very confortable. Not that we didn't like it but some small thing that can make the place even better: a ceiling fan in the bedroom for example. A split unit for air conditioning instead of a floor time might be something to consider if the temperature continue to rise in the summer. The weather was very hot during our stay, it was 15C higher than the normal and we were OK in the apartment.

- Chant0403 (7/5): Bien - Appartement grand, propre. Le seul appartement qui avait une galerie (#8). Lit confortable. Le personnel super gentille. Tu as des questions, elle va répondre avec grandes aides. Équipement de base et un leu vieillot. La galerie aurait besoin d'amour.

- anne (7/5): Accommodant et personnel dévoué - La senteur de fumée était présente partout. Des locataires fumaient dehors (pot) et la fumée nous a incommodé même les fenêtres fermées. Les portes chambre et salle de bain étaient super bruyantes à l'ouverture et restaient collées donc pas commode la nuit réveille les occupants. Même chose pour la porte d'entrée.

- Jonathan (3/5): Did not enjoy our stay at all. - Large enough, enjoyed having a kitchen area to prep breakfasts and fix lunches. Good fridge. Great location too. I liked having the option to use a BBQ grill but didn't get the chance to try it out. Worst couch, could not spend more than 10 mins in it (busted). The bed was equally awful, didn't get a single good night sleep. The curtains don't block the sun, so it's hard to stay asleep past sunrise. The air conditioning does not work well enough to cool the whole unit (the outside was cooler than the inside). Couldn't have both the AC and TV plugged in at once (had to choose). The walls are so thin you could hear all the conversations happening next door, as well as the young baby running or crying any time of day (or night). The kitchen equipment was lacking. Over a 4-night stay, no service was given at all. Not a towel, no trash emptied, nothing. The tiny recycling bin was overflowing. Lots of long dark hair in the towels (not ours, we're both short-haired). The towels were so thin they didn't dry much, and not many were provided. The bed covers were thin and small. The kitchen chairs were "repaired" with caulking and uncomfortable. The fan was dusty and grimy. All in all, not a nice room at all, one of the worst I've had. I understand this is not a luxury unit, but it wasn't cheap either.

- Maxime (8/5): - Grand, simple et efficace. L'hôte est très sympathique et accueillante. La localisation ne permet pas tant de se balader près du lac Saint-Jean, qui est principalement réservé aux maisons aux abords. C'est plus un logement de passage que pour profiter du lac, en tout cas lorsque ce n'est pas l'été, on se retrouve vite à ne pas pouvoir accéder à grand chose finalement, dommage.

Cuisine fonctionnel, salle de bain avec amplement de serviettes et de débarbouillettes. Mieux qu’un hôtel pour un séjour de quelques jours. Télévision avec le câble. La hauteur des plafonds fut une belle surprise. À deux pas du lac!! Seulement de petits détails, poêle antiadhésives endommagées, le bain se vidait lentement lors des douches et la tête de douche fuyait un peu par le dessus.

- Wayne (4/5): Mediocre - The size They are apparently pet friendly which means for people like us without pets and with allergies this place will bring out all your symptoms. We spent three days in pat dander. Also the place needs some TLC for holes, broken doors and kitchen supplies.

Also, we’re available in morning and the evening. There were no issues. Very comfortable. There ere long dark hairs on bathroom floor that weren’t ours. Otherwise everything was great.

- Jacques A (7/5): Meilleur rapport qualité/prix pour une nuit près d'Alma. - Tel qu'indiqué sur le site, le motel n'est pas sur les rives du Lac ( on ne peut pas y plonger juste en face ) ; mais par très loin en voiture. Et il est vieillot. MAIS notre unité était confortable, très propre et très bien aménagée/équipée pour le repos et la bouffe. Et c'était très tranquille. Excellent service. Je cherchais un coin pour dormir avec cuisinette près d'Alma ; l'accès à la plage n'était pas un critère pour nous. Entièrement satisfait. Méchant beau coin, le rang des Îles à St-Gédéon. Rien.
