- Kristian (10/5): Beautiful spacious home close to many trails in the Black Forest - Beautiful home with lots of light, easy access to many trails, beautiful yard with a nice table for dining. Furniture was comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms was a bonus! We were not aware (or didn’t notice on the advertisement) of the extra cleaning fee for dogs; but were told as soon as we arrived so we had ample time to get cash before we checked out. Was no problem for us.

Apartment was spotlessly clean and cared for and clearly attention to detail with towels, cleaning products and appliances. Wi-Fi was effective. Garden view was beautiful and ability to use garden was great. Made to feel v welcome by owner and booking in was easy and straightforward. Great location for base in Black Forest. Parking space was advertised as private, but parking was on the road..The road was quiet, but we booked this specifically to gain private parking so disappointing. No blinds on top velux windows so got v hot and sunny so difficulty using spare bed. Blinds / window nets in main bedroom not working which was minor issue but v hot nights.
