Choice of cereals. Very helpful hosts just upstairs. Loved my dogs and had their own which was relaxed for me. Affordable. Easy walk down to the lake and kids playground. A few key things missing in the kitchen - sugar. Very sparse crockery .

Although private and set to the side, it is within the family home. I was leaving early and was worried about disturbing the family when I left.

The space was very comfortable, clean, and welcoming, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The scenic lakes nearby added a peaceful touch to our visit, and the host was incredibly friendly.

There are plenty of storage places. We always have good night sleep in the king size, comfortable beds. It’s in a peaceful area, only short distance from the lake. It’s possible to walk along the lake for a long distance and it’s really nice any time of the day. We wish we could have stayed longer.

I travel a fair bit with my partner that is in a band and we were yet to find a hotel we enjoyed on the Central Coast. But now we have found it. Maggie's Nest was our home away from home. Michelle was an exceptional host and the use of the bikes was a nice added touch. Absolutely nothing, we can only speak highly of this accommodation

• Suzanne (10/5): Our best stay on the Central Coast so far - Maggie's Nest was superb - spacious, wonderfully appointed, spotlessly clean,with a great bed, breakfast provisions, and lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home away from home. Our host was lovely; very welcoming. We've stayed at a number of properties on the Central Coast travelling between Brisbane and Melbourne, and this has been our nicest stay. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable with a great bed and friendly host. Nothing. (The only issue is too many people have found out about Maggie’s Nest and it is getting harder to get a booking. )

• Sharon (10/5): Truly spotlessly clean and comfortable accomodation - Maggie's Nest was perfect for our one night stop over, but once there we wished we could stay longer. There were nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge, a selection of cereals for breakfast and tea/coffee and bikkies. I know some places you stay, previous reviews will say it is spotlessly clean - I can honestly say, Maggie's rest is the absolute cleanest place I have ever stayed. Thank you Michelle Nothing

We weren't there very long, only one night and one of us arrived late at night due to flight times and checked out in morning but I would be happy to stay longer and would definitely stay again. The entrance is not private but that didn't bother us we just weren't expecting it.

• Katie (10/5): Lovely - couldn't improve on anything. - My host was amazingly, really kind, friendly and understanding - I was held up which meant arriving much later than planned, and she made it seem like no trouble, though I know it was. The unit is lovely, home- style decor but classy and stylish, fresh, clean, attractive and welcoming. Everything worked - which is way better than my home!!! Breakfast was simple but just what I needed, and there was more than enough, with variety. When we met the next morning, she was absolutely lovely. Ummm... can't think of anything!!

• Andrea (10/5): Lovely home for two and four legged guests as well - It was our second time at Maggie’s Nest and we booked it again. We like everything about it. The location, the cleanliness, the comfort, the attention to details. It is a well equipped unit and there is even a water purifier installed in the kitchen. The hosts are very generous and respect the guests privacy.

The hosts were friendly and accommodating, lovely stay - thank you. You have to walk through the front entry of the house (foyer) to gain access to the granny flat - internal access only.

• Martha (10/5): Exceptional - It's the second time I have visited Maggie's in the last couple of months. Maggie's gives the feeling of the home away from home. The decor is so inviting, even my husband, who came with me this time, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Maggie's is not to gar away from the beach. It is in a secluded street with not much traffic. The little courtyard with the hanging plants gives the feeling of being at home. The attention to detail the owner has put in place makes the appartement very pleasing.

• Andrea (10/5): Wish all holiday homes were like this one! - Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped accommodation in a quiet area near the lake with wonderful walk opportunities. There is a full functioning kitchen with a big fridge, suitable even for longer stays. Basic breakfast items are provided too. Not only us but our little dog was welcomed by the owner and felt at home. If we could stay longer! But we hope to return.

• Martha (10/5): Great for a nights rest or a weeks stay. - Michelle happened to hear my friends car pull up and came down to great me, even though she did send me the details on how to get the key from a secret place. Michelle is very friendly and so is her Chihuahua. The property is not luxurious, something I didn't neeed and didi't expect for that price. Real value for money. To my surprise there is a capsul coffee machine, some cereal for breakfast and other food, I din't expect to find. I felt very much at home in this place with beautyful attention to details. The middle seat on the sofa seems to be the one used most and it made it uncomfortable for my sore back. It could do with an upgrade. The kitchen cupboards show some age, but nothing that bothered me. The coffee machine and the attention to details made more than up for it.
