Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zwei Badezimmer waren super. Klimaanlage in jedem Zimmer und funktionstüchtig. Würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten. Großes Lob an die Vermieterin.

• Joanna (10/5): Perfect apartment in Ipanema - A fabulous apartment by the sea at Ipanema, which is a perfect area to base yourself in Rio. There are restaurants and a supermarket handy and we always felt safe. Just watch out for bikes on the bike track when crossing over to the beach!! We arranged with François and Christiane for an airport pick up as we arrived later in the evening and that was perfect. Their apartment is delightful, and caters for your every need. Christiane is always only a phone call away if there are any queries. Security is excellent. The only suggestion I coukd make is to have an anti slip mat to put in the shower base.in the big shower.

L’hôte est très sympathique et réactive, je recommande.

In the evenings, we could open the bedroom window and hear soft jazz music drifting from a nearby restaurant, which made the stay feel even more special. A beautiful and relaxing experience overall!

• Alberto (10/5): Excellent - The apartment is very comfortable, well equiped (including everything for the kitchen, beach towels, seats and umbrella), clean and cosy. It has two bathrooms with showers which helps occupancy by 3 people. The location is perfect with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants as well as gourmet supermarket Zona Sul nearby. The beach is half a block away. Kind and helpful owner who communicates via whatsapp to help and solve any doubts. The experience is certainly worth its cost.

• Jack (10/5): Excellent apartment and will return for sure. - Excellent location close to the beach and unlimited restaurants and bars. Also very secure property. I liked the desk/office area. Apartment has three air conditioning units which was more than enough. I only used one unit during my stay and the entire unit was comfortable. The owners are very kind and helpful. The only negative thing is that there is some street noise and every evening you can hear the band playing from a nearby restaurant but they finish playing at 10:30pm or earlier so it's not a big problem.

The apartment had everything we need, it is super comfortable and clean. The beach is less than a minute away. Ipanema shops and nice places to eat are all a few minutes of walking distance. Most importanly, the hosts were super helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed. They also helped us with our itiniary and other travel arrangements, and gave us recommendations. We were so happy that we chose this place. It was definitely above and beyond our expectations! Thank you so much for making our trip a wonderful one!! nothing, everything was perfect!

• Stephanie (10/5): Worth the splurge for a great location - They’re not kidding about the location - it’s literally a short stroll across the road to Ipanema Beach. The hosts have made good use of the narrow apartment layout and have thoughtful features such as light beach chairs, a filtered water dispenser and cold bottled water, even a retractable washing line. We liked that there are three levels of security - the building gate, another door before the elevator, and the apartment keypad. The hosts were forthcoming with recommendations for Asian food (loads of eateries, minimarts around) and also offer a transfer service to and from the airport. It’s more expensive than Uber but since our flight out was very early in the morning, it made sense to have a trusted ride. Highly recommended. Nothing

Thoughtfully provided an artisanal beer to help me shake off the dust of travelling. The apartment is charming and is superbly located for restaurants and bars and only a minute’s walk from Ipanema beach. Really well fitted out and good use of space so as to be far preferable to many higher priced but smaller hotel rooms. So pleased I found it - a superb alternative to a hotel stay. Nothing at all. First class!
• Patricia (10/5): Great cozy and comfortable apartment in a great location! - The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. We especially liked the fact that there was an electronic lock on the door and we used a customized code to get into the apartment. The property was very clean, which really mattered to us. The location was extremely convenient, close to the beach, grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurants. The apartment had beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. The air conditioning units worked very well, which was also very important to us. The bed was quite comfortable. Chris, the owner, was very accessible and promptly addressed any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again!

Gringo Cafe, a couple of short blocks from the apartment will serve you bacon and eggs, even eggs Benedict. This stay was simply flawless! Chris, the host, is committed to hospitality, service and tourism. You will feel this in every corner of the apartment, every interaction the host.

• Lizzieb (10/5): Great place to stay, in excellent location and good facilities - Very thoughtful extras, although we had a worldwide multi adapter, it did not fit some of the sockets, however the owners had a multi adapter, v handy. The large tvs with Netflix etc were great, especially as we had 4 days of heavy rain. Washer dryer was useful, although we found the dryer part to be a bit complicated! Complimentary toiletries were useful. Hosts were very helpful but not intrusive.
• Debbie (10/5): if we were to return to Ipanema this is the first place I would look at staying. - we were met by the owner Francois when we arrived who told us all we needed to know about everything in the apartment and also left a beer which my husband really enjoyed after a 7 hour journey! The location was excellent, the apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with washing machine. The bed was super comfortable. I could not fault this place.
