• Elsa (10/5): L’appartement idéal pour un séjour réussi à Rio ! - L’emplacement est idéal à deux pas de la plage d’Ipanema. Adriana s’est montrée disponible à tout moment pour nous aider (lien avec compagnies des transfères pour le reste du séjour, recommendations etc). L’appartement est spacieux avec un gardien 24h/24h. Nous reviendrons !

• Nina (8/5): A place to call home in Ipanema - The location of the apartment is spot on— super close to Ipanema beach and the shopping street. During the day, you can stroll around with no hassle, and there's a solid supermarket nearby. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials and features a substantial refrigerator. Both rooms offer the luxury of individual air-conditioning and separated bathrooms. The apartment includes good Wi-Fi and a guest-accessible Netflix account. Despite its central locale, the apartment is very quiet, shielded from street noise by its positioning towards the backyard. A picturesque view of the nearby favela, and, if the weather i clear and sunny, you get a glimpse of the Christ. Communication with the host is easy and friendly, with prompt and helpful responses consistently provided for any inquiries. This seamless interaction help us for an our overall positive experience. Overall, I definitely recommend this location, especially for those planning an extended stay in the city and enjoy the experience of interacting with locals during grocery shopping. The spacious layout offers the flexibility to unwind indoors, making it ideal for a relaxing evening of Netflix and chill. It's a well-rounded experience that captures the essence of both the vibrant city life and the comforts of home. While our stay at the apartment had many positive aspects, there were a couple of drawbacks that impacted our overall experience. One significant inconvenience was the unavailability of a laundry machine in the apartment. Despite noticing one in the unit, it appeared to be locked away and inaccessible. Upon reaching out to the host, we were directed to a nearby laundry salon. Unfortunately, the Google reviews for this establishment were less than favorable, making us hesitant to entrust our clothes to their services. Additionally, while the doormen were incredibly friendly, a language barrier became apparent as they did not speak English. This presented a challenge when we had questions or needed assistance, as communication was limited. It would be beneficial for future English speaking guests to be aware of this language barrier to manage expectations accordingly. Despite these challenges, we appreciate the positive aspects of our stay and hope that these concerns can be addressed for the benefit of future guests.

• Duane (10/5): Great views from a comfy and spacious apt - The location of the apartment was excellent! We had a great view of Christ the Redeemer from the living room and even Sugar Loaf (if you tilted your head to the right). A supermarket, metro and great restaurants were around the corner and the beach was just a block away. The apartment itself was clean and spacious. I felt right at home. The host was also very attentive and helpful if there was ever anything we needed. I can't say I had any major issues.
