- Sarah (9/5): Peaceful and very scenic - The quiet and peace characterise this place. It is in the middle of a farm so there are no man-made sounds. There are superb views.
- Samuil (10/5): -
- Frank (9/5): Heerlijke plek om de prachtige omgeving te verkennen. - Gelegen op prachtig landgoed. Ruime en fijne slaapkamers. Vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren. Omgeving is erg mooi. Leuke winkelstraat vlakbij. Gemeenschappelijke ruimte/keuken is wat krap en beetje gedateerd.
- Noah (10/5): Great, would stay again - Peaceful
- Becky (6/5): The accommodation itself was mostly good but disappointed with a few aspects and especially the early morning noise - Two bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms were very handy Kitchen not really equipped to cook. The courtyard area was dirty, outdoor chairs were dirty and wet. The hosts didn’t come over to introduce themselves we never saw them. Someone started using power tools early on Saturday morning.

- Christine (1/5): Misled and regret booking this. - The property is advertised as being entirely on ground floor level. It is not. There are steps. I traveled with my son who uses a wheelchair. The lack of accessibility was problematic, required lifting and manual maneuvering and was dangerous. Please change the advertised info. The property is NOT suitable for disability access. Kitchenette in very poor condition. People nice.

- Amanda Hellyer (8/5): It was just what we wanted, a cosy and comfortable place with great views. - It was very comfortable and clean for our family of four. Wonderful views from the bedroom and good location.
- TLC_NZ (8/5): - Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful rooms, the beds were so comfortable and beautifully presented. Lovely ensuite in each room. The lounge area is in one of the bedrooms (as noted in booking) so just needs to be negotiated between guests. Friendly host, and a very quiet location with an amazing view. Tamborine Mountain is worth exploring. The outdoor area was tidy and spacious but being in front of the main house (mirrored) windows, it lacked a feeling of privacy. Cooking options were limited due to no stove. Adding an electric frypan would allow guests to cook a breakfast perhaps?
- Stacey (9/5): Beautiful family feel, like staying at your parents in a granny flat with animals around.lovely weekend on the mountain - View, calm granny flat feel No campfire/fire pit - would’ve made it perfect!
- Brooke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (10/5): Wonderful, peaceful and comfortable - Hosts very kind and friendly my daughters were able to feed the sheep and the horses which they loved. The wifi didn’t work but that wasn’t a problem because we didn’t use it.
- Harold (10/5): Pleasant....comfortable....easy access....close to where we needed to be. Friendly hosts - The location..the views of the mountain....clean...comfortable Nothing it was all good
- Judi (10/5): Exceptional property, great views and the perfect spot to relax before the wedding festivities. - We attended our son's wedding at Tamborine Mountain and this accommodation was exceptional. Plenty of room for the 4 of us with each bedroom having it's own ensuite. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee machine & pods was appreciated. The views across to the Gold Coast were a bonus as were the sheep and horses on the property. It was a lovely homely property that allowed us to relax before and after the wedding. All good.
- Zina (10/5): Stay at TML! Clean, private and a wonderful host. - Cassie was phenomenal! A few hurdles to jump through with elderly parents in tow, so needed to make sure access was easy. Cassie went over and above to help me and made sure the weekend would run smoothly. Cannot thank her enough.
The rooms lovely and clean, everything we needed. Close to the centre and very easily accessible.
Such a pretty place with sheep and horses too. Would recommend to family and friends.
- Elizabeth (9/5): A perfect escape from the city for a couple of days of tranquility. - Beautiful location. So tranquil. Woke up to the sound of birds, sheep and other wildlife. Cassie is a very friendly host. Very comfortable lodge with everything we needed for a short stay. Spectacular views. Feeding the sheep was great fun too. My daughter and I will definitely visit again. Nothing at all to dislike.
- Sharni (9/5): Great cottage for a short stay (with kids) - The two bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable, complete with their own ensuite and TVs!. This meant the kids could have one room, and the parents had their own space - perfect for a two night stay for a wedding. The owners were extremely friendly, facilitating a meet n greet with the resident sheep and horses for the kids on our last morning. Loved the story about Rory the dog-horse and the views out of the main bedroom window of the garden were a delight in the morning.
The small kitchen had coffee pods, milk and tea - essentials for early morning wake ups with the kids, and there were plenty of games to keep the kids occupied. This is purely self-imposed - the main residence is directly across the courtyard from the cottage. We had 4 children with us so were quite conscious of any noise we made so as not to disturb the owners so we were a bit edgy. But as I said, this was self imposed and there was no issue raised or impression given by the owners that their was any issue, in fact quite the opposite but just a heads up for those with rowdy children if you want a place with open areas to let them run wild
- Dianne (4/5): Disappointing -
- Michael (9/5): What a wonderful property - Location was perfect, very close to everything with amazing views. Meeting the sheep was definetly an added bonus to the stay. Very clean and comfortable place to say. The inside common area was a bit smaller than expected, was just unfortunate that the weather wasn't nicer to utilise the beautiful outside sitting area. Would be a great place to have a BBQ on a clear day 😊
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Sigrid (9/5): Superb - Beautiful quiet location, comfortable accommodation, close to everything mount Tamborine.
- Tania (9/5): We had a brilliant weekend, the perfect sport for a weekend getaway, timed with the local market nicely across the road. - Having the farm animals there was so special, the lambs were gorgeous, the family dog was so friendly and welcoming! The beds are very comfortable, everything was very clean and tidy. The hosts were such decent, kind, generous people. Having 4 of us travelling for the weekend, just having a small bar fridge and small kitchenette was a challenge but we worked around it.
- Megan (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (10/5): A perfect mountain getaway. - It was all about location location location. Wow! The view was spectacular. We had booked a lunch at a restaurant with a view, but it paled in comparison to what we could see from our courtyard. Sunrise was incredible.
Our hosts, Cassie and Stewart, were absolutely delightful and so welcoming. We had the opportunity to have a swim in their magnificent pool and again enjoy an amazing view while sitting by the pool. And on a 30+ degree day the breeze and coolness of the area was wonderful. We got the opportunity to feed their sheep and pat some gorgeous lambs.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and both bedrooms had a bathroom.
This is a perfect place to come to when you just want to relax and soak in the mountain views and fresh air. Loved our stay.
- Kelli (9/5): Lovely. Peaceful. - Beautifully presented accommodation. Clean. Quiet. Great views. Great location (for a wedding at St Bernard’s). Well equipped. Cassie was accommodating with check in request and a later check out. The beds are on the firmer side.
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moore (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lily (10/5): I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for a girl’s getaway!!! I would highly recommend this place, the photos don’t do it ju - The property was located on beautiful Mt Tamborine, surrounded by gorgeous bushland and native plants as well as sheep and horses. The gardens and grounds were beautiful and meticulously maintained.
- Larry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janace (9/5): Beautiful quiet & well equipped venue just off busy main road..central location. - Food not supplied, but cooked/made own simple breakfasts- very good..fridge and plenty of appliances; very good small kitchen area. Very adequate and comfortable for our purposes.. enjoyed playing board games supplied.. gorgeous surroundings and views. Hosts very amenable and pleasant. Perfect for our purposes; perhaps a towel short and some washing up detergent required..otherwise hard to fault!
- Kathryn (9/5): Fantastic! Comfortable, peaceful, great place to stay & lovely hosts! - This place was great, I went for a girls weekend away for my birthday & it was perfect. It had beautiful views, was really peaceful, very comfortable, great location, lovely outdoor area & lovely hosts. Fantastic stay, loved it & would definitely go back.
- Mike (9/5): Superb -
- Tejus (9/5): Superb -
- Carlie (10/5): A wonderful weekend away in the quiet countryside. The best place to recharge the batteries, enjoy the surrounds and spe - The scenery, the beautiful hosts, the coziness of the accommodation.
- Anne (9/5): Relaxing and fun. A great base to explore the Mount Tambourine region - Location was lovely garden setting - rooms were spacious and comfy. It would be nice to have bedside lamps and maybe a pan to cook a poached egg and a microwave dish
- Kelsie (9/5): Superb - Quiet, amazing views, two separate beautifully styled rooms with ensuites, air-conditioning, and a short drive to many things we were interested in.
- Danielle (10/5): Comfortable, cosy and tranquil! - Lovely space for a couple travelling. Very comfortable, cosy and tranquil. Excellent shower and comfy bed. Kitchenette needed a few more cooking elements.
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (6/5): Pleasant - Bedrooms are large with private ensuite and great location. Ran out of water while showering, kettle powerPoint stopped working and not really having a communal lounge so you could relax with stay away client.
- Natalya (9/5): Superb -
- Petra (5/5): Would be fine if it were 180 per night, but not good value for a property over $300 per night. - Lovely owners and gorgeous dog called Nellie who came to visit often.
Partial view to the Gold Coast
Comfortable beds
Quiet for sleeping- although the birds and sheep are early risers, but a much nicer way to greet the day than an alarm clock. Sadly It all felt very tired and in need of updating, and a good clean.
The bathrooms were small with nowhere to put stuff, even a hook on the back of the door would have been helpful, plug didn’t fit the sink, tapware was awkward and difficult to use.
Outdoor area was in need of a good sweep and de-cobwebbing. I realise it’s a mountain setting and these things do accumulate, but the leaves and cobwebs I cleaned off the chairs had been there for some time.
Kitchen is really just a large sink, bar fridge and airfryer - no bench space to prepare food. Not really clean, had to wash glasses before we used them.
The amazing view from the deck, which is what sold us on paying a higher price for this property, was fenced off as private - so we didn’t really get that view. Also found the one-way glass on the windows of the main house across the courtyard a bit disconcerting, didn’t feel very private.
No proper lounge area, just a couch and chairs in a bedroom.
Its not what we would describe as a lodge, more a granny flat in desperate need of an update.
- Adrian (9/5): Would love to stay at this property again in the future, it was very relaxing and private. - The location was peaceful and serene with a patio that looked out over the Gold Coast. Easy access to many restaurants, shopping and local attractions. Cassie was generous of her time and was able to introduce us to the properties recently arrived lambs. It would have been great to have access to a BBQ but there are so many places to eat close to the Lodge that it isn't a must but a nice to have.
- Jane (9/5): A very quiet, picturesque, pleasant place to stay. I'll be back again some time. - The two rooms with their separate ensuite bathrooms was a welcome indulgence considering that I was travelling with extended family.
The view and the surroundings are very pleasant. It's a great place to relax. I'll be back. The property has a microwave and air dryer which was adequate for our short stay. If I was there for a longer period of time a cooktop/griller would be handy. Otherwise, the accommodation had everything we needed on this occasion.
- Laban (8/5): Very good - The place is situated on a farm, lots of trees away from noise. Just love the place. The place did not have a laundry section. Hence, you can't stay longer. Ideal for short stays.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Loren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (10/5): Beautiful, quiet, comfortable. - Absolutely beautiful location and very quiet. Lovely guesthouse accommodation with 2 bedrooms, each had en ensuite, tv and air conditioning. Very clean and comfortable. We met the owners, Stewart and Cassie and they are wonderful! Really enjoyed our stay.
- Michelle (7/5): We enjoyed our stay and much thought had been put into the accommodation We would have liked fresh milk and normal black - Nice attention to detail inside property Would have liked more privacy between owners residence and the accommodation A different entrance would be nicer
- Taj (7/5): still had a great time and enjoyed our stay as mount tambourine is beautiful but I just had a few little things to be no - the location on mount tambourine central from everything and the home owners were super nice and helpful for our stay I booked a whole apartment and only got one room and a kitchenette as the other room got locked before we arrived, the only thing heated was the room as there were only one heater/aircon so wasn’t big enough for the whole place,
the property does need a lot of maintenance to be done eg. more heating through out, new kitchen bench or the whole kitchen all together, needs some new utensils and washing up cloths as the ones we had were very very old, and some more things to be able to cook meals on,
the dinning area really needs some blinds so the home owners can’t look into we’re your staying as it made it super uncomfortable in the spots where there were no blinds
as for the rest of the cottage it just needs some updating/ a little renovation as everything is super old and worn out eg. all the bathroom fixings are very old school and hard to use.
the home owners are really lovely nice people but we were hoping for a bit more of a private stay as it was our anniversary and the booking didn’t really specify that the cottage was attached to main dwelling the photos need to be updated to just what the cottage can use and see, none of this would have been a problem if the room didn’t cost as much as it did for what we ended up getting
- Matthew (10/5): Absolutely flawless stay, cannot fault anything. Would recommend staying here to anyone. -
- Don (10/5): Nice place to stay - Very friendly, convenient location and nice place to stay N/A
- Michelle (10/5): Absolute bliss. - Privacy and relaxed environment.
- Anna (10/5): Great location. Nice and quiet. Lovely hostess. - Good location. Lovely host. A common area sitting room would have been nice but we just hung out in one of the bedrooms with extra sofa.
- Paul (10/5): An excellent place to stay in a very beautiful location. - The location is great. The amenities are excellent. 2 master bedrooms each with en-suite. It’s very quiet and comfortable.
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - It was a great hidden gem, very quiet but close to everything.
- Bob (10/5): very enjoyable stay - Taps, difficult to use, particularly with arthritis.
- Marian (9/5): Lovely relaxing three nights, would definitely stay again. Very pleasant hosts. - The location was lovely , set amongst fields, with a nice view. Two individual rooms, each with TV and bathroom, so ideal for friends. There was also complimentary items for breakfast and a coffee machine. Kitchen facilities were a little limited (for those wanting to cook), however totally adequate for those eating out.
- Deborah (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- D (9/5): Superb - Peaceful location with spectacular views across the Gold Coast and out to sea, and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Everything was great
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catharina (9/5): was tranquil and welcoming - very comfortable and a great location
- Karen (9/5): Superb - The location and surrounds were beautiful and hosts were friendly and very easy to contact. Would def stay again if visiting the area.
- Waun (10/5): A great place to stay - friendly people rural location I enjoyed everything
- Ian (9/5): Tamborine Mountain Lodge was a fabulous experience - Staying at Tambourine Mountain Lodge was a fantastic experience and this was matched by the amazing hosts, Cassie and Stewart It would have been nice to have a access to a full kitchen but we knew what we were getting so this is just a personal opinion and nit a criticism
- Anonymous (7/5): Hosts were pleasant and willing to help us if needed. Overall we were happy with the accommodation. - The bedrooms were spacious and the hosts made accommodations for a small child. The small living/eating space.
- Simon (8/5): Peaceful, relaxing location to explore Tamborine Mountain - Lovely peaceful location surrounded by fields, well-kept gardens and distant views to the valley below. The two bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, large TV's and air conditioning. The hosts had left us some lovely basic provisions in the kitchen that were very welcome. There were also quality toiletries in the bathrooms. There were a few games provided that we enjoyed playing. The hosts also have a lovely friendly dog that likes to wander over and say hello. Overall a peaceful, relaxing stay and a good base to explore Tamborine Mountain. The accommodation does not have a lounge area. We possibly should have realised that before booking but we assumed there would be an area with a couch where we could relax as a family. There is only a small kitchen and dining area between the two bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped for its size but some of the appliances are ready for replacement.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
