• Natalie (9/5): Cute, private, and homely accommodation, perfect for a mountain getaway - The location is handy to Gallery Walk, Eagle Heights, which has cute little shops and eateries, and provides a great base to explore all that Mount Tamborine has to offer such as bushwalks, hang gliding, wineries, and markets. The private ensuite accommodation is cosy, with lovely decor and furnishings, and includes a kitchenette with stove top, microwave, bar fridge, and coffee pod machine. Coffee pods, tea, and condiments are provided, and you will find shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap in the shower. The lounge area includes games, speakers, and TV. Cute little balcony access and chickens in the yard to top off this mountain escape. The ensuite is quaint with toilet, shower, and basin. The basin is very small, so to wash my face was challenging without getting water on the floor. The ensuite is really cold in winter, so a heated lamp would be beneficial.

The driveway access could be difficult if you had a large vehicle and was not mentioned until the instructions the day before arrival

• Richard (8/5): Small but beautifully equipped - Great location for Tambo Gallery walk, Curtis Falls. All within walking distance . The accommodation was easily adequate for a couple and for 3 nights. Very little "hanging" space, some amenities needed refreshing, during the stay. Poor internet and free view connections, but plenty of games, chooks and location to keep you entertained.

• Jamie (10/5): A beautiful getaway with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. - I loved the location immensely - even with the windows wide open I could barely hear the traffic! The birdsong and gentle rain on the roof was lovely and relaxing, and exactly what I needed. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival, and communication with Nicole was very easy. She provided a booklet with personal recommendations and pamphlets of local walks, restaurants and shops which I definitely found useful. Nothing could have been better, it was perfect.

• Joannah (10/5): We loved it and very much intend to go back many times in the future. - Is was very peaceful and simple yet homey. We like the decorative touches everywhere and felt like we could have stayed there for a lot longer. It had everything we needed and more. The only thing I could think of is the driveway is less than ideal. But there’s not much you can do about it considering the shape of the property. The person staying in the house was more than accomodating with the parking and there was clear instructions on how to go about it.

• Heather (10/5): A perfect place to stay. - This is a beautiful self contained apartment, with everything you need, including a little kitchen & a wonderfully comfortable bed. It’s tranquil & very clean & I would highly recommend it. . It’s a bit of a hidden gem in the fact that I couldn’t find the place at first, but this was sorted out quickly. Maybe a little sign near the street number could be helpful.

• Mark (10/5): Great place to enjoy our stay in Australia using it as a base away, the host was informative and Nicole kept us up to da - The loft was a great little gem to find on booking. Com and would recommend the loft and location to family and friends, we are missing our morning calls from the wildlife which was something special to hear each morning. The location and not being around the towns and cities, the quiet life of being in the rainforest was fabulous.

Everything was perfect with if I was being really picky was the exception of a big enough mirror to see our outfits before we went out for the day otherwise the facilities were excellent.

Every detail is thought of - beautiful design elements throughout the room, speaker, yoga mat, board games, very beautiful bed sheets, coffee machine. The location is super central. We loved the fact that we could walk to restaurants and shops and to the forest walk. It’s air conditioned, good internet and phone reception. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Thanks again for the wonderful and a very relaxing stay. It was just what we needed The driveway is quite steep and we struggled to get back down when it’s dark, as we had a van. It’s a very small inconvenience and I think we wouldn’t have a problem with a normal car. We just parked in the bottom of the hill.

• Shelley (10/5): Our favourite accommodation!! - Exceptional quiet private chalet in a beautiful neighborhood walking distance from the Curtis Falls track and Falls. Great location near town and the Gallery Walk, a simple minutes drive from Skywalk, Witches walking track, the golf course, and a popular location to watch the sunset over the valley. After 4 nights, we did not want to leave this chalet as it ended up being our favourite accommodation! Loved it!
• Fletcher (10/5): Cute and cosy - My wife and I absolutely loved our stay! The studio is very private and very cosy! The only thing that could make this place better is a bath! Otherwise a beautiful little studio to stay at, listening to the beautiful birds from the rainforest. We loved staying and hope to come again next year! Make sure to check out the waterfall just a few minutes walk away!!

• Robbie (10/5): The Perfect Place for Some Solitude - The studio provided the perfect place for some solitude, relaxation, reading and study. The location is only a short walk to the Curtis Falls rainforest walk, and only a very short drive to the popular Gallery Walk precinct. The hosts made themselves available for contact if needed, but also allowed me privacy during my stay. The small loft space has been thoughtfully planned to include small zones to meet all needs comfortably - bed/sleeping, sofa/TV, dining, study desk, kitchenette and small bathroom. The most memorable highlight was when two beautiful black hens came by to welcome me! When I'm looking for another escape, I'll certainly be looking to visit the Mountain Studio again.

• Loretta (10/5): Perfect little cottage - What a beautiful home anyway from home! The photos don’t do the space justice - it’s very comfortable, cozy and has everything a couple or single would need for a short stay. Owners were also more than accommodating with my questions.

• Loretta (9/5): Gem in Tamborine - We loved the hosts, we only met Nicole but she was so lovely and wanted to please us at all times. We loved the central location and how quiet it was. The gardens are well kept and very attractive. The loft is beautifully presented and impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the sweet little touches in the decoration. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were top notch and most appreciated. Coffee pods were included and there was a great compact kitchen which we did not use. WiFi available free. Thank you Nicole and Stephen We liked it all but being a loft can be a bit tricky for tall people in certain areas. Bathroom a little confining but not a problem for a two day stay. Do not let this turn you off.

You could not get a more central location to cafe's restaurants and the local IGA a short drive and on Sundays the French Bakery have a van outside the IGA selling freshly made pastries bread pies and cheeses "just beautiful" Wolf restaurant very expensive for what you get not enough food on your plate for the price service very poor. Nothing for us the studio is boutique, the decor very tasteful and well appointed,the surrounding gardens just wonderful, don't not check out the three black resident chook's The only thing if you are a large person the bathroom may be to small.

• Betty (6/5): Attic or bedsit - not studio! - Bed was dreamy! Front balcony was cute and very nice for a morning cuppa. Found a GREAT breakfast spot a short drive away... The kitchen/bathroom were very small - this place is better described as an attic or a bedsit - not a studio. The freezer was not working and we were not advised. The dog barked/howled most of first night. There is no view. Steps were very narrow and steep if you have mobility issues. We were not offered a discount or compensation for any of the "failures"....

• Jennie-lee (10/5): Fantastic accomodation in the centre of everything! - This property is fantastic!! Walking distance to the popular Gallery Walk, Curtis Falls rainforest walk, multiple cafes, shops and dining. 5 minute drive to multiple wineries, Botanic Garden, Distilleries and Main Street. Our hosts were fantastic and the studio was the perfect place to disconnect, recharge and get away for a few days. We will definitely be back and have already recommended to friends for their upcoming stays. The steep driveway was interesting but nothing you can’t handle with a reversing camera. There is a turn around bay as well. Only a very very minor negative. It won’t stop us from visiting again 😁
