• Sandy (2/5): Like being in a well positioned awful bed sit - Location was exceptional, apartment was large with great roof terrace. Handy cafe and supermarket near. Actual beds were comfy. Tatty, no kettle, not air conditioned, well only one bedroom. Electrics were dangerous. Dated, poor kitchen equipment except the cooker. Hot tub turned green and slimed. Towels smelt damp. Under a flight pathway, nightly smell of sewage. Things didn’t work some hanging off wall. Bedding dreadful sheets didn’t fit , no mattress protection, not enough pillows and of poor quality. Cupboard doors didn’t close, showers didn’t regulate heat. No information pack saying if the water was drinkable. Difficulty getting into the apartment. Caretaker spoke no English and didn’t read Portuguese well so didn’t understand mostly anything she said. Also the lift doesn’t go up to the apartment. There’s a spiral set of marble stairs which was very difficult to get our bags up. We’re for but 2 of us are in our 70’s.
• thais (10/5): - Estadia maravilhosa, casa ampla, acolhedora, Doando Pepa uma pessoa maravilhosa, localização perfeita, vista deslumbrante. Ar condicionado podiam ser mais modernos para gelar o ambiente melhor e não ter tanto gasto com energia, pois necessita ser ligado com muitas horas de antecedência para refrescar o ambiente.

• lialmeida29 (5/5): Decepção com a cobertura, faltam melhorias básicas - Ótima localização! Fácil acesso para quem chega pelo Santos Dumont. Mercado, lavanderia, lanchonete, cafeteria do lado da entrada do prédio. Fácil para pedir Uber/99, próximo do shopping, portaria 24h, porteiros educados e prestativos. Apartamento espaçoso, porém bem antigo e sem manutenção. Vista para o Cristo Redentor e para o Pão de Açúcar. Pepa muito prestativa e atenciosa, tive um problema com a descarga que disparou em um dos banheiros e ela atendeu prontamente. Itens do apartamento bem antigos, não há manutenção. Sofás fundos, camas com colchões e travesseiros velhos, toalhas e panos de cama também e são os que estão nas fotos do anúncio, armários desgastados, chuveiros às vezes estão com água muito quente ou fria e pouca pressão, quarto do lado da cozinha tem bastante mofo, o banheiro do quarto com duas camas tem uma lâmpada que achei que não funcionava e funcionou no último dia. Portas com maçanetas caindo, portas não fecham direito, de madrugada você ouve o barulho da rua porque as janelas são simples sem vedação. Jacuzzi não funciona, somente como uma banheira. O acesso ao apartamento, no último andar, é feito por um lance de escada e no apartamento para a área externa onde está a jacuzzi tem uma escada também e a grade de proteção baixa, para quem depende de acessibilidade e para quem vai com crianças devem se atentar a isso. Não gostei de ao chegar a Pepa perguntar qual o horário que eu sairia no checkout porque tinha reserva para entrar no apartamento antes do horário que é previsto no cadastro, 11h30. Fiquem atentos a isso, não achei legal, pois paguei pelo período inteiro e caso fosse preciso ficaria até o horário limite, para a sorte do administrador meu retorno era logo cedo. Isso deve ser combinado antes e não informado na entrada. Certamente não voltarei a me hospedar.

Dona Pepa (the person that takes care of the apartment) is amazing! Extremely helpful and nice. The apartment is quite old and could use some renovations... Many door handles just fall when you touch them Most doors do not close One bathroom has a quite bad smell that also goes into one of the rooms The jacuzzi does not work If you hit the wall of one of the bathrooms in the rooms, you can actually switch off the light of the bathroom As a suggestion, the hosts could leave some soap for the washing machine.
• trettel (6/5): Vista incrível, mas o imóvel está mal cuidado e a jacuzzi não funciona. - A localização do apartamento é realmente excelente, com uma vista de tirar o fôlego. A localização do apartamento é excelente e a vista realmente impressiona. No entanto, a impressão que tivemos é de que os proprietários não se preocupam com a manutenção do local. A roupa de cama e o colchão estavam demasiadamente sujos, várias lâmpadas estavam queimadas e o chuveiro do quarto menor não funcionava — ao tentar comunicar o problema, recebemos como resposta: “ah, mas aquele é queimado mesmo”. O ponto mais decepcionante foi a jacuzzi, que estava queimada e não funcionando. Não fomos avisados previamente sobre isso, apesar da alta expectativa que tínhamos. Saímos bastante frustrados.
• Wendling (8/5): Encantada com a vista. - Ótima localização. Uma vista maravilhosa do Cristo e do Pão de Açúcar. Uma pena que a jacuzzi estava com o motor queimado, com isso a água não esquentava. Não deu para aproveitar.

• Iara (8/5): The best view in town - Pepa was in charge of cleaning and she was waiting for us at the apartment. She gave us a lot of information about the flat. She is a lovely lady, and we got a very warm welcome. The flat is huge, the wifi worked great in all areas, and the views are awesome. The flat is a bit noisy because of the location, even though it is on the 13th floor. It would have been nice to have a parasol on the second floor (as per photos), because between 8am and 4pm, it is impossible to be upstairs with the sun. This made it really hard to bbq for example.
• David (8/5): Loved the location for all attractions in Rio! - The location was brilliant and the apartment was spacious. The tops terrace had spectacular views! Walter was always available for any questions too, The bathrooms are dated but functional.

• Louise (8/5): Great views and big apartment - The size of the apartment was huge. The roof top area was massive and looked over Sugar Loaf one side and Christ the Redeemer on the other. The view was amazing! Some of the lights didn’t work and the interior was a bit old ie not brand new kitchen utensils but that was fine. The size and view more than made up for it
• Dongping (5/5): Wouldn’t book again - The views are beautiful. The host is very nice. No AC( only one very noisy ac in master bedroom) All furnitures are so old and you can easily break them. The apartment was probably very nice 50 years ago when it was built, however there was no renovation after that.
