• Katrin (10/5): Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations - I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The view was absolutely stunning, and all the amenities were excellent and well thought out. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surroundings. I truly enjoyed my experience and would gladly recommend this apartment to others.
• Sian (10/5): The hibiscus apartments were absolutely perfect for our family. If we get the chance to come back to Hamilton Island, we - The location was perfect. Exactly where you’d want to be. Our view was incredible. The apartment was very spacious, lovely and comfortable. The only thing we wanted to mention was the outdoor seats around the table on the balcony. They have been quite weathered and worn over time and when we used them, the fiberglass rubbed off onto our skin. If there was one suggestion it might be to upgrade those seats. Everything else was great!
• Amanda (8/5): - The apartment was a good size and very well equipped with kitchen utensils. I feel it could do with updating. Also one small hand towel per bathroom is not adequate and a larger floor towel to prevent slips. I had no towel to dry my hair with.

• Tess (4/5): Disappointed to be honest - Thought is was a good location but that is all really everything else very disappointed and would not be recommending this to anyone else The property was in a state of disrepair and appeared to be in need of significant repairs. Additionally, we were not pleased with the additional charge for tardiness, as our ferry arrived at 5:15 p.m. Despite paying over $500 per night for accommodation in these apartments, we were still charged an additional $55. This incident left us deeply disappointed and felt as though it was a blatant attempt to exploit our situation.

• Sophie (10/5): A magical stay on a beautiful island. - Location was perfect - fabulous views of the beach and ocean, and just a 100 metre walk or so to the beach. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and had every little thing you might need. The golf buggy was also a great additional bonus. There were a couple of wasps hanging around the front door which made leaving the apartment a bit challenging on occasion. Also, the Stone Curlew is a very cute bird, but it is exceptionally noisy at night. We were staying on the second floor and the two flights of stairs kept us fit. Fine for us, but I did think less able people might find that challenging.

• Coulter (8/5): Highly recommend Hibiscus 208! - Hibiscus 208 was clean and comfortable and well maintained. The fit was modern and appeared recently renovated compared to an apartment my family were in the same building downstairs. Kitchen was super well equipped coffee machine microwave and dishwasher were great. Literally only 1 bath towel and 1 beach towel per person. Expensive but that’s all across the Island.

We had a family of 4 and felt very spacious. Great to have the buggy included. Would definitely stay again The one improvement would be if you have greater than a week reservation that there is a mid stay clean. We washed the towels ourselves but there was no broom to sweep. We were there for 8 days and that was the only thing that would have been helpful.

• Susan (6/5): Great view from older apartment. - The unit I stayed in Hibiscus 208 was very dated. The lounge and lounge rug needed throwing out. Lounge was very uncomfortable. Rug was filthy.. The floor tiles and grout need a really good clean. Prior to my arrival I'm guessing the unit was insect sprayed . There were large dead cockeroaches on the kitchen floor that I kicked out the door. ( yes we are in the tropics) Would benefit by room spray as it smelled like yrs of body odour. The screen door to verandah has a tear in it that the local cookatoos know and wander in through. Saw one walk right in to the lounge and out again. Great location. And so handy with its buggy. The main bed was comfortable. I might seem a bit critical but there needs some tweaks in this apartment. As above comments.
• Johanna (9/5): Excellent holidays! - Location was suburb with glorious view over Catseye Beach. Close to all activities such as beach, boating, hiking and restaurants. The lounge in the sitting room of our apartment was worn; it needs replacement.
• Banerjee (9/5): A Relaxing Holiday - Smooth transfer to and from airport We got accommodation on level 2. This was a very much of a discomfort for my wife and friend with knee problem. Dishwasher is very old and got some of the buttons stuck. Not many different cuisine on the island.

• Chris (6/5): HI is beautiful & everyone is friendly, had a great time there but prob wouldn't stay in the same ap - The place was grimy & the bathroom shower has a lot of black mould. The bath towels were very thin & the pillows all need replacing. The outside cushions on the chairs are stained with food & so was the cushions on the outside lounges. After staying in the Frangipani apartments this was a bit of a let down.

• Marshall (6/5): Expect a cheap and cheerful beach apartment with a huge price tag. - The vallet service from the airport was amazing. I had read that you might be left at the airport for a long time with all your luggage and no use of a golf buggie (the only for of transport) but this didn't happen to us. The apartment was very expensive and that is just because of the location. Our apartment was dirty the sofas must have been sat on by families in wet swimmers because there were wet stains and a damp smell. The curtains had a smell of urine or damp and this was so intrusive when sleeping that we had to ask for these to be washed. It was not expected because if the price paid. I didn't realise these were privately-owned but managed by the island. I think this makes a difference. It's just a poorly kept investment for some one.

• Tina (9/5): Our stay was relaxing, in a great location that was very romantic feel for our 30th wedding annivers - The apartment was very well equiped, very spacious and comfortable.The shower pressure wasn't amazing. The iron needed replacing. The view was exceptional I didn't really appreciated the change over of 3 times with the golf cart. I would recommend the golf cart that belongs to the apartment to have covers for when weather changes

• Robert (6/5): Amazing location and experience……sadly fell short for us - This is a difficult review to do, while the place was amazing and beautiful view and fantastic facilities,our experience was let down by maintenance work being done on the buildings which meant that the view was blocked and balcony was not useable for part of our stay. we raised this issue on multiple occasions but was unable to resolve. Again outstanding location. As mentioned above disruptive maintenance and no coffee pods

• Tracy (7/5): Good - Great location, Well equipped kitchen, Apartment has its own golf buggy to use. Throw cushions in Lounge and Main Bedroom where dirty & stained, Doona on Main Bed badly stained and in need of a good wash I have stayed in other Self Contained Apartment Accommodation before and they have at least been serviced once during our stay but not this one. For the price we paid for our stay I would have thought at least the bed sheets in both bedrooms could have been changed and the floors mopped at a minimum as tiles get quite dirty.

• Leanne (9/5): Superb - Fully equipped apartment made for a stress free holiday. Complimentary golf buggy a bonus we enjoyed, and we were grateful for. The apartment's lighting was less than desirable. Some worked, some didn't . Then those that didn't, did..! The lock / door handle on the front door was very temperamental. Ants ruled the kitchen and the main bedroom !
