• Christos (2/5): Very poor - We (6 members family) were directed, without having being informed in advance, to another flat/building, in a completely different location. The flat was underfurnished (one chair only!), not ideally clean and lacking essential amenities (e.g. there were no hungs for towels, no wardrobes). We were misguidedly advised by the host to begin cancelation procedures the next day (we arrived in the evening), so we lost the chance to get the total refund
• Harakhun (9/5): Very nice and fitted my requirements really well. - Details of My Visit: Number of Travelers: 2 Transportation: Rented Car (from Dusseldorf) Period and Duration of stay: 17 - 27 (10 days and 9 nights) during October (visiting K-fair 2022 exhibition) The accommodation is located in a house (3 floors - with an apartment on each floor.) The upper most floor (3rd) floor is the accommodation. It consists of 1 bathroom, 2 sleeping rooms (with multiple beds in each room), and 1 kitchen. Wifi internet is available. It is rented out by the owners on the 1st floor (M. Fulo Family). It's a residential area so it is a quiet and peaceful location. You knock/ring the bell at the 1st floor owners to get your keys to the accommodation. Accessibility is recommended by car (drive/rental) but there are some bus stops that are close by. I did not see a train station nearby. Parking is not available in the accommodation but you can park on the side walk in the area. Special mention is that the owners are super nice and even help me ship a package to a friend in Germany. (I happily provided the postage fee + a little extra for their troubles. Pro: - Great Owners - A whole apartment (Should be able to accommodate 1-6 people). - Kitchen equipped with necessary equipment such as plates, pots, cutlery, fridge, microwave, basic coffee machine (filter). - There is also a small washing machine in the kitchen (but we didn't use it). - Very reasonably priced (considering the peak visitor season for the Dusseldorf Exhibition) Cons: - Location is a bit far from public transportation (but there is a bus stop close by). - Parking can be quite limited (when everyone is fully parked in the area) and you may have to end up parking quite far from the accommodation. - Lack of supermarket stores in close proximity (<500m). But it takes about 3-5 minutes drive to ALDI or EDEKA supermarket to shop for groceries.
