• Barry (10/5): - Have stayed here before and love the quiet and solitude of the place. Last review I mentioned it could do with a microwave - but I only had to ask and very soon after arrival I had one - thank you. I was in apartment 22 and logged into the wifi for that room which was very poor, constant buffering and dropping out - so logged in to room 12 which showed up on the connections and that worked perfectly.

There were no coasters to protect surfaces from hot drinks, but we used folded kitchen towel instead.

• Piotr (10/5): - Jeżeli ktoś chciałby spędzić czas w spokoju to niech dalej nie szuka. To jest najspokojniejsze miejsce w jakim do tej pory byłem. Na miejscu jest wszystko co potrzebuje: ręcznik papierowy, przyprawy, nawet pralka z tabletkami do prania. Przylatując samolotem mam niewiele rzeczy. Bez sensu jest kupować te produkty w sklepie samemu. Wokół dużo zieleni, blisko do morza. Nie ma stresu z parkingiem (bardzo dużo miejsca). Pani sama od siebie pomyślała czy nie potrzebowałbym dodatkowej pościeli do kanapy i to był strzał w dziesiątkę. Na kanapie wyspałem się lepiej niż w swoim łóżku. Na wyjeździe nigdy się nie wysypiam. Dzieci miały osobny apartament co było super pomysłem. Miały ogródek i koty, które przez szybę pilnowały jak śpią. Pomimo że dzieci spały w apartamencie na dole, to czułem że są tam bezpieczne. Fajne warunki. Żaluje tylko że zaplanowalem przeniesuenie do hotelu. Tu juz tak fajnie nie jest. Mogę 100% polecić to miejsce. Jak wrócę na Cypr to tylko tu

• Murray (8/5): see above - All was very good.. the quiet location was wonderful, and the views particularly of the mountains from rear terrace were adorable. We did like the visits from the resident cats, who were very friendly. The weather over the Christmas period was just ideal, compared to being in the UK ( 20 degrees most days ) Sorry to say collecting the Keys did not go to plan. We were informed by Booking. com that our room was number 22. So, we got the key from the indicated box but it would not open the door... It was late at night after a long day .. a long flight and an hours drive in the dark from the airport. Thankfully a member of the family turned up just in time to the rescue (To be fair we had only been struggling for 5 mins..but a little concearned where we were going to sleep that night... ! ) Apparently, this is an error perpetuated by the instructions that Booking.com. The owners have tried in vain for them to change the instructions. Just a couple of comments... The kitchen area could benifit with an extractor fan as there was alot of condensaition while cooking.( However this would be quite difficult with the cooker being in the middle of the room and far from an outside wall.) A tea pot would have been much appreciated!

Пляж у 3 хвилинах ходьбі від апартаментів. До Поліса і Лачі можна дістатися за 20 хвилин, де у місцевих тавернах подають неймовірно смачну їжу. Це ідеальне місце, щоб насолоджуватися Кіпром. Обов’язково хочу сюди повернутися.

• Christopher (10/5): Beautiful, quiet and well-provided apartment close to both Latsi port and Polis town. Ideal location for enjoying a quie - The studio is in a small building of a few apartments. It is modern and open plan. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very good. The kitchen featured a 2 ring hob and oven, toaster and kettle, fridge, freezer and washing machine. It was well stocked with everything you could need including cleaning products for washing up and washing, basic condiments and a starter pack of water, coffee etc. There was even foil and cling film. It has a balcony at the rear which catches the morning sun and has a table and 2 chairs. At the front there is a space to sit and catch the evening sun. It is in a quiet location equidistant (about 2km) from Polis old town and Latsi port. It is only apart 100 metres from the sea as the crow flies. There’s loads of space to park right outside and there are a number (?8) of friendly cats who they obviously look after. The walk down to the port is nearly all along a path right behind the beach and there are plenty of restaurants there. We ate in four of them and didn’t have a bad meal. The walk to town is not quite as appealing but it is down a quiet road and past the hospital. There are a number of restaurants in the old part of Polis. We ate in one and again the food was good. However the best meal in our view was at the small, I assume family run restaurant, Christos karouzis which is just past the hospital and slightly out of town (and hence closer to the apartment). It had a really traditional feel and an enormous meze which we thoroughly enjoyed. The other places felt more tourist oriented but the service was always good and it was never excessively expensive. There are plenty of supermarkets around the town to support any level of self catering if that is what you prefer. I have nothing but praise for this accommodation and we also liked Polis and Latsi which felt nowhere near as brash and over-developed as Paphos. The only negative I can drum up, which is not about the apartment itself, is that Polis is at one extreme end of Cyprus. Paphos is an hour away and reaching other key parts of the island involves passing through Paphos and hence quite a lot of driving. That said if you are into the great outdoors, there is plenty of hiking, biking, 4WD off roading and water based activities to keep you happy just around Polis
• Martina (9/5): Wir haben ruhige entspannte Tage dort verbracht. - Auf der einen Seite hat man den Meerblick, auf der anderen den Blick in die Berge. Kurze Wege zum Strand. Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ikea-Möbel wirkten etwas kühl und charmlos. Da alles in einem Raum ist, stört der Kühlschrank nachts etwas, da er quasi ständig brummt.
• Paolo (10/5): Great place just outside of Polis centre - Great place, highly recommended, perfect if you like to be out of the village centre (although the villages are quite small in that part of Cyprus). Adorable cats and super friendly and communicative host, who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Nothing major. As someone who likes to sleep in a dark room, the light coming in from the front door's tinted glass was not ideal.

Много места для хранения вещей, есть сушилка для белья, прищепки. Комната большая. Это комфортное проживание за разумные деньги. Рядом пляж, променад вдоль моря. До ближайших магазинов и ресторанов на машине 2 минуты. Место тихое. Виды великолепные. Прекрасная коммуникация с хозяевами. Короче говоря, есть все для комфортного отдыха.

The apartment has everything you need + amazing views from both sides of the building and a bunch of wonderful cats ♥️🐈 it is suitable for long or short stay. The apartment is equipped with washing machine(and capsules), oven, refrigerator, sink, cooking utensils and spices, TV, AC and 2 ceilings fans. The view is amazing and undisturbed from all sides, the sunset from the roof is jaw dropping, the birds flying around, the vibe of the property, the spacious apartment, everything was so great we had a feeling we got perfect value for our money. The kitchen is well equipped. Thank you for the welcome water in the fridge! The mattress of the double bed is a little bit bouncy, but you can take the fairly big couch to mitigate this.

Key was not in door upon arrival. Had not been given code to access key box. My UK phone not working in Cyprus, so "Boris" (long-term resident) phoned owner who provided code to access key. Solid surround to apartments, but for disability scooter no ramp to exit/entry - had to drive on/off grass (risky). Could not get TV to work for entire week - no instructions provided. Single bed not wide enough - had to push 2 beds together. Shower cubicle lethal without shower mat. Needed to recharge scooter at rear of apartment, but 5 steps up/down without any hand rail for support - risky even using walking stick. Expected cleaning during stay but no-one came.

• Sarah (10/5): Loved this place for a perfect escape - Beautiful peaceful location, fantastic views, modern accommodation with comfy beds and all mod cons - perfect for walking to Latchi one way and Polis a little further the opposite way. The facilities were great for a week self catering, modern shower room and hot water no issues with a booster switch if you need an early shower. Fans and aircon in the room, plus there is ample easy on-site parking. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get - views included!! Nothing.

• Blaz (9/5): Felt like home far from home and added a bonus to our stay! - The White House has a lovely location with 5 minutes walk to the sandy beach, lovely sea & landscape scenery outside of any large settlement, at night a non-party quiet spot for a relaxed sleep. The apartment is equipped like a very comfortable small home far from home and we felt like that during our whole stay - a full sized refrigirator, a washing machine, shower cabin, dryer, a small kitchen with a glass hotplate and a full sized oven with a baking tray, enough counter space for cooking, enough utensils and cookware for a group of 4 people, two small tables, a TV table and couch, air conditioning unit in very good condition with two extra fans on the ceiling, a balcony with a table and two chairs, laundry hanger, broom and mop, extra trash bags, enough laundry detergent for at least 5 complete washes, a brand new dish detergent, dish sponge, freshly washed linen and towels... Every window has mosquito nets installed, a joy, even though at the time of our visit, due to the hot and dry weather, there was hardly any insects in any part of the island! Basically after arrival, we stocked up on basic groceries in the supermarket and that was it! Superb! The apartment is very clean! The hosts were superb in communication and very friendly and welcoming; as a guest you have total privacy and freedom and at the same time full support if needed, just ask away. The welcoming committee in the driveway and in front of the house each morning and night is a furry band of very friendly and lovely cats as an added bonus. ^_^ Will visit again, as you really feel relaxed and without stress here. It's hard to find faults with this apartment, but a few points could perhaps be improved upon in the future, though they are hardly deal breakers. 1. The TV doesn't read USB sticks if you wish to watch photos/movies from your phone on a bigger screen; it just accepts A/V connections through HDMI, component or VGA connections. The USB connector is there, but there isn't any function in the menus to read from it, so I think it's there for technical support stuff only. We hardly cared after trying, just didn't use it. :D 2. The mosquito net on the balcony has a couple of holes we patched up with paper tape just in case, would need replacing with a new net in the future to really prevent mosquitoes getting through. 3. The A/C is of an inverter type, but on the "sleep" setting the fan inside is still a bit loud to sleep with, perhaps needs a technical check. We solved that with running it a couple of hours before sleep in the hot nights, coupled with mixing the air with the two ceiling fans. On most nights though, we had windows open and it was pleasant and no problem.

Located in Polis, the accommodation is easily accessible by car, with ample parking and situated in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The peaceful location and stunning views were truly a dream. The place was exceptionally clean, immediately making us feel comfortable and at home. It features multiple fans and an air conditioner to keep you cool. The apartments are spacious and equipped with everything you need, including a large refrigerator, a well-appointed kitchenette with cooking hobs, a washing machine, and essentials like detergent and soap. PLUS the towels were very soft and cozy ;-) Alexia, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive, clearly passionate about hospitality and ensuring her guests have a wonderful stay. The estate is also home to many adorable kittens, which you can pet—a lovely bonus for animal lovers. We lacked nothing during our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you, Alexia, for giving us such a fantastic start to our vacation!

Very nice hosts, they went out of their way to help us. We had an issue with the AC and they really did everything to help us, it got sorted and we were glad we were able to stay there! There is a small balcony in the room with views on the mountains but I think everyone just puts their chairs outside the room on and sits on the terrace in front there to admire the sea. The room was clean and comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Good bed. Good shower with good pressure. The garden around the propery is nice, lots of birds to see, lots of swallows flying around. And cats, lovely cats. Be sure to check your car when driving away as they seek shelter from the sun under the car. We really enjoyed our stay here and the people running it make it even better.

• Robinvl (10/5): Loved the stay and the area - Excellent stay, clear indications to find the place, easy and smooth check-in despite arriving relatively late. Wonderful view from the studio, as per the pictures. Quiet atmosphere with friendly cats chilling in the garden. Easy to park in the property Spotless studio with everything you need to facilitate your stay there, cook by yourself, etc. Marvelous team (Alexia and her parents!) handling the property. The beach is very close (walking distance if you'd like), supermarket close by and several options/place to eat some minutes driving. Loved the area, several hiking options in the surroundings. Nothing bad to mention about White House! The area (Polis in general) must be busy during the warmer months / during the summer. Several places seems to open only during a part of the year however, this was not an issue for us since we were after some quiet and peaceful time.

• Alessandro (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great as we expected and as it shown in the pictures! We really enjoyed our days at White House. The owner is super and always ready to help. Thank you. Also the neighbours are great people. The property is between Polis and Latchi. 5 minutes walking(!!) from the property there is a free beach very clean. The apartment is fully furnished and with parking outside. The location is great, amazing sea view and Mountain View. If we will be in Cyprus again we are gonna stay here for sure. Recommend 1000%!

• Nick (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the views and the fact that it was nice and peaceful. All the other people there especially Tony and Christine made us feel very welcomed. Nice location near the beach. Lovely accommodation. We found the bed a little uncomfortable. We weren't to keen on the fact that the bedding didn't get changed and no fresh bath towels half way through our stay.
• Susan (10/5): Idyllic location, total relaxation :) - The location was perfect for us. Quiet, rural with beautiful views in all directions. The studio was large with a good air-con unit, two ceiling fans all of which worked very well. Easily enough cooking equipment for an occasional meal. The cleaning could have been better, however the cleaners were delightful and tried to be very helpful when we asked for anything. This would not put us off returning, although, my first hour was spent cleaning !

The studio is very big, comfortable equipped with everything you may require. Very kind and caring host. Nice people, ready to help anytime you need them. Thanks for a great place to stay at. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends & family🤗😁 It would of been nice if there was a swimming pool as well , for those moments when you want a dip during the golden hour. Also my hubby has a thing about watching TV before sleeping . So a unit would of come in useful. Otherwise more than excellent accommodation
• Emma (8/5): Peaceful - Great location - just a short walk to the beach (5mins). You can easily walk along the promenade at the beach to the campsite beach bar for cheap drinks! Also only a 25/30 minute walk to the beautiful village of Latchi. We had a car so everything was easily accessible! The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. Very peaceful area - not touristy at all. Lovely neighbours, very friendly. If you like cats, this is a great place for you!! The facilities could do with an update. The shower head wasn’t great and there was some damage to the ceiling. But these things are small and don’t affect your stay!

Nice and quiet building and host was very friendly. Both the front and back terrace offered beautiful panoramic views - would definitely return again! Nothing to mention!

• David (8/5): Modern and well equipped studio in quiet and beautiful location. Highly recommend 👌 - Beautiful Sea views from the front and Mountain View’s from the back😀. Modern, clean and great location. Well equipped studio with nice shower and bathroom - and some friendly cats. Only negative was the bed. I found it uncomfortable after a few days. But that is just a personal comfort issue and would not stop me coming back again. I would highly recommend a stay here.
• Agata (10/5): Great stay in beautiful area! - Everything was great, from the parking and easy access by car, to the small details in the kitchen and even a good place to hang the clothes to dry them. Area is pleasant and silent, walking distance from the town along the beach. Really nothing!
• Julia (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay in Alexia's lovely studio apartment. It is clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is absolutely perfect - quiet, with views across the beautiful olive and orange trees and just a short walk from the beach. We enjoyed the visits of the cats living around the house and the friendly chats with the cleaner/caretaker living a few doors on. Alexia was always helpful and quick to answer any messages. This is really a gem of a holiday apartment and we hope to be back one day.

Great views and a quiet neighborhood :) The host is very helpful and takes care of the property. The location is perfect for those ones who want to visit Akamas trails.
• Halyna (9/5): Superb - It was the place with the great view and possibility to drink coffee in the morning and enjoying sunset. Walking to the sea is very close. Living between the sea and the mountains was a gorgeous experience. Host is very friendly and responsive, ready to help. It is really nice and cozy place to stay. Also, apartment has kitchen inside which is very convenient for having coffee and breakfast. I was partially working and could confirm that internet works totally well :)
