- Zoe (5/5): We were grateful to stay as other places were booked out - It was spotlessly clean and an excellent location A lot of things were broken- the airconditioner made a loud clicking noise all night even when turned off and made sleep impossible. The lid of the kettle was broken, the door of the microwave was broken and the TV only played free to air.

Quiet location with great sunsets and amazing night skies. Very friendly hosts. Good garage parking. TV good, if small. Good washing machine. Furnishings very much in need of upgrading. 1970s feel. Not all areas clean.

Ha and Glen are by far the most amazing caretakers of a Hotel, they are both so accomadating, kind and helpful, they make the stay so much more enjoyable. The Anchor In is so lovely to stay in, location is spectacular 😍 everything you need is provided, l especially loved the older decor!!! It suits the climate. Access to the pool and outdoor areas is right at your doorstep, including the beach. I wished l stayed longer!!!

- Adrienne (8/5): Great host and great location. - The owner Ha was extremely helpful. We were having troubles with our DC fridge so Ha let us plug the car into a power point to keep the fridge going. She also let us park in a convenient spot to do this even though it would have been inconvenient to her. She also gave us a delicious paw paw. The location is also fantastic, right across the road from the beach with great views out to Dunk Island. It was also a short ten minute walk to the surf club where we had dinner and listened to some fantastic live music. The property is very dated but everything worked and was very clean.
