• Simone (10/5): Eine top Ferienwohnung in optimaler Lage - Eine sehr gut gelegene Ferienwohnung nahe an Rothenburg, mit lieben und hilfsbereiten Menschen! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder gerne herkommen! Das einzige was mir einfällt ist das für mich die Matratzen etwas weich waren, aber das kann man nicht wirklich als negativ bezeichnen
• Claudia (10/5): - Die Herrnmühle hat unseren Kurzurlaub im schönen Rothenburg zu einem besonderen Erlebnis werden lassen.Die Lage ist phantastisch,die Ferienwohnung war top,(super sauber und alles da was man so braucht) und obendrein ein idyllisches, uriges Ambiente in dieser ehemaligen Mühle.Eine tolle Gastgeberfamilie der das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt und die uns auch sehr interessantes zur Geschichte der Mühle und Umgebung berichtet hat. Wer ein idyllisches familiäres Plätzchen sucht ist in der Herrnmühle genau richtig.

• Lambertina (9/5): - Herrnmule pension is een hele mooie accommodatie prachtige ligging. Super vriendelijke mensen accommodatie is heel schoon en heel groot bedden waren ook goed. Op 10 minuten loopafstand naar het stadje. Een echte aanrader.

• Christina (9/5): Absolutely charming accommodation and town - A very beautiful location, utter peace and quiet. Short walk into Rothenburg which has to be one of the prettiest towns we have visited. Plenty of places in town to eat and drink, surprisingly good options for vegetarian/vegan. We particulaly enjoyed an evening glass of wine in the garden of the Hotel Burggartenpalais. Apartment is furnished quite simply but was very clean, light and cool even on very hot days. Really appreciated the honesty fridge full of cold drinks, very handy when returning from a long day out. Sorry but the pillows were awful!

• Menia (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was an amazing experience! The place is like a scene of a fairytale ✨️ An old mill of 1760 has been turned into an exceptional guesthouse! The hosts were super friendly and kind. They offered to pick us up from the train station because we arrived late at night. Everything was more than perfect! Thank you 😊
• Liudmyla (10/5): We really loved the stay and definitely recommend to anyone who fancy vivid rural scenery. - This is a cute cozy accomodation at the local watermill (one of many) which is being in use since 1909. The pension is run by a very friendly and helpful couple, it was a pleasure to chat with. Since its located at the mill, one can hear a waterstream outside, which is very relaxing. Im not a fast paced runner in any way, but it took me around 10-15 mins to get to the city walls and main streets. We had a double bed, plus another single bed in another room. All the facilities and kitchen supply are functional. There is nothing to be improved :)

• Jakob (10/5): The best place to stay in Rothenburg, without any doubt. - The location was exceptional, and so was the room and the facilities.The owners were very welcoming and nice as well, and helped us set up an arrival time outside of the listed check-in slot. The connection to the city on foot was really good, yet you still are staying in nature right next to the river Tauber. Honestly an absolutely amazing place, and for the price it's an absolute steal.

• Luciano (10/5): An incredible experience, cosy and with a medieval atmosphere, almost like in a fantasy novel. - The place was wonderful, much better than expected. The house is cozy and has a beautiful view toward the city. Waking up with the sound of the river that passes a few meters away from the windows is a relaxing experience. The host was super welcoming.
• Zsuzsanna (9/5): Superb - Close to the town centre with max 10 min walk. Clean and large appartment in a very nice place with a graden. Kitchen. Friendly owner. The bed size is ok, but was very - very soft. It could be improved to be more confortable.
• John (10/5): Beautiful location fantastic value. - The apartment we had was clean and comfortable. We found the bed very comfortable, maybe a bit too firm for some. The apartment is part of a mill complex and is family run. The place was so peaceful and who doesn’t want to fall asleep to the glorious sound of running water! The location was perfect, easy to park there and walk up in to Rothenburg, it is uphill but we are in our seventies and managed it with comparative ease in about 10 minutes. Parts of the mill are very old and the history of the place was visible in the buildings. The family who own the place were lovely and friendly and very welcoming. We felt the apartment was excellent value for money, we have stayed in similar places in the English Lake District but at three times the cost. Highly recommended! Nothing
• Anonymous (9/5): Owners very helpful and our unit was very spacious for a one week stay. - Very interesting history, beautiful location. We’ll equipped kitchen in 2 bedroom unit. Chairs in living area OK, but not as comfortable as we would have liked.
• Madison (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Lovely big apartment in a peaceful location and hosted by a very friendly and welcoming family. The property is just by the river and only about 10-15 minutes walk to the old town. Everything was great :)
• Damian (10/5): A large one bedroom unit in a peaceful location run by a lovely family. - Loved that property was close to old town but in a very quiet secluded area. Could listen to the small creek and enjoy the serenity. Our room was huge, an apartment with everything we needed and more. Was a short drive up the hill or a walk if you wish and a car park right next to the gates of the old town. Was family owned and all were pleasant and most helpful during our stay. We just loved it !!!!! Nothing !!!!

• Eric (9/5): Wonderful memories exploring the place! - A very peaceful place with lots of outdoor space and greenery. Despite the unusually hot summer, the interior of the apartment is cool. The bedrooms are very spacious. Very good opportunities for walking a lot especially going up and down slopes. Everytime we needed to buy groceries, we had to walk uphill and downhill as Rothenburg town is on high ground and the apartment is in the valley. But the views during the walk is refreshing. We walked different routes each day, good exercise too. The owner is helpful. Anyway we're thankful to be able to get to stay here because it is an idyllic place we saw from the lookout at the castle garden wall about 20 years ago and we had hoped to stay here one day!😊 WiFi reception is really quite poor. There's no hair-dryer nor large towels. The small towels are very thick and rough. There's no freezer and we bought a tub of ice-cream on our first day there only to find that we couldn't keep it! However, we love the environment and hope to stay there again if there's opportunity, more prepared for whatever is lacking!
• Athos (10/5): Best experience ever! - There are no words to describe the quality of our experience at Herrnmuhle! The place is extremely beautiful and pleasant, very close to the historic center of Rothenburg, the apartment we stayed in was quite large and well ventilated and the owners are incredibly wonderful, very kind and helpful. We loved every second of our stay at this place. We will definitely return. There are absolutely no downsides.
