- Francis (3/5): Not reccommended dishonest owners - It was clean, and in an average neighbourhood. We had booked this property in Argentinian Pesos. On arrival, the price had increased by 15%. When we asked why the hosts said they used the Blue rate, but Booking.com uses the official rate. Our confirmation clearly showed the price in Argentinian Pesos and it matched that day's official rate. Being shown this, the hosts expressed shock and surprise, but refused to budge on the price, and added that it "wasn't a lot of money anyway". I fail to understand why these hosts think it's acceptable to advertise one price, and then increase it when the guest arrives. In no other business would such practices be tolerated. If the hosts need a higher price, then they should advertise that price. They reduced it by 3,000 pesos because we hadn't enough cash, but the experience had been unprofessonal, and disrespectful to us as guests. We'd been driving all day and were tired, so rather than argue, we paid the extra. On a different note, there was a bad smell of gas from the boiler. We had to leave the windows open all times.
