- Amanda (10/5): -
- Silla (9/5): A farm stay with a difference. Perfect!! - What a stunning location! Clear instructions. Great quiet out of the way farm stay. Definitely can rest and relax!! Kids loved the animals. The grounds need some work and clearing. There was a little mouse in our house but we are country people and didn’t worry.
- Ali Rad Yousefnia (9/5): -
- Charlie (10/5): Amazing Stay! Definitely coming back. Gorgeous views. - Super beautiful place! They even had Peacocks and donkeys ! So tranquil !!! Bath was beautiful. Clean and beautiful hosts. Loved the divider between bus and tram. Loved the seat in the toliet. Super clean. No bugs!!!! Amazing pool. Lots of bird poo but still gorgeous. Theres no shower but im not complaining the bath was SO NICE! Bed could be improved like mattress topper and queen. Netflix could also be included or DVDs. Family in bus nearby were very noisy and swearing maybe sign to say no loudness at 11pm onwards or something. Warning for pot holes on the way there.
- Mathew Webley (10/5): -
- Sandra (5/5): Enjoyable but could be a lit better - Bush setting animals quiet No shower difficult to shower with hand held couldnt get in touch with management regarding power outage resulting in no water till 11pm
- Lianne (10/5): -
- Victoria (9/5): -
- Hellen (10/5): -
- Jade (3/5): -
- Beth (8/5): Back to nature is good for everyone - The peace and quiet, the animals.
The location was amazing and the property was beautiful. Unfortunately the microwave did not work and the pool was a little dirty.
None of these things affected our stay though
- Patrycja (10/5): -
- Hope (10/5): - The property was wonderful
- Craig (8/5): - The staff were incredible - helpful and welcoming.
- Lisa (8/5): Relaxing family time - Relaxing environment, beautiful location,
plenty of things to do at your doorstep We had no concerns
- Merryl (9/5): Cozy & breathtaking views - We loved our stay in the tram. It's beautifully fitted out & had everything we needed. It even had a little couch & TV (although the remote wasn't working for our stay - it turned on but couldn't change the channel. It was stuck on the 24/7 Baywatch channel - which was absolutely hilarious 🤣).
The property backs onto the Noosa Trail which is a great little track for a run/walk! Fantastic views everywhere!
It's fully fenced around the tram so perfect for those bringing dogs. Ours loved watching the chickens wander around. Bed was super comfy but only a double (we get it though, space saving), but was a little squishy with 2 people. Definitely not a deal breaker though - the whole vibe and location far outweighs squishing up next to my teenager 🤣
- Lori (9/5): A beautiful place and we will most certainly be back. - A beautiful, relaxing property. The animals are such a treat and we’re great at interacting with our kids. The views are beautiful and we instantly felt relaxed when we arrived. The treetops cottage was beautifully furnished and was perfect for our family of four. The property runs on tank water and it did cause the bathroom to get a little smelly during our stay.
- Tanya (10/5): Everyone was really helpful. We were welcomed and settled in well. Feeding the animals is really fantastic. - The cottage is comfortable and well equipped!
- Neves Alves (10/5): - Beautiful place with beautiful scenery!
The animals and contact with nature are wonderful
The pool is beautiful and very good
One tip: cleanliness could be improved
- Frauke2102 (8/5): - Super Lage in absoluter Ruhe
- Rebekah (10/5): -
- Joselito (10/5): Hidden Gem Paradise Holiday - All the staff were kind and friendly, especially Simone, Jared, and Angela. We loved everything about the beautiful farmhouse—from the accommodation to the picture-perfect mountain views. Feeding the adorable ponies (Shirly and Bambi), alpacas (Quilla Mama and Punchou), peacocks, peahens, chickens, and horses was such a joy. We loved it so much that we will definitely come again. Some of the rooms door locks not working.
- Nina (10/5): Well worth the money - Spectacular mountain views private Views
- Joey (10/5): Beautiful views and comfortable stay - This is truly an amazing place. We instantly felt relaxed the moment we arrived. The views are breathtaking, the beds were comfortable and our kids enjoyed feeding the farm animals, walking the ponies and petting the horse and Jack the donkey. We also enjoyed the pool. Simone and her family were friendly and welcoming.
- Daniel (10/5): Wow !! What a place , loved it ! - Wow !! What a place , loved it !
- the bus was so awesome surrounded by farm animals sitting on the deck and watching the amazing view - epic . The bus was fun the kids loved it and the whole property was gorgeous. Hosts were great , slice of heaven - would go back for sure expect a few bugs , spiders and strange noises in the night - but as you should at a farm . Beds in the bus are a little small - not ideal for larger people
- Simon (9/5): A unique, peaceful and comfortable farm stay, with lovely animals and truly stunning countryside - Lovely farm stay nestled in the Noosa Hinterland bush. We slept in the cosy old Leyland Bus, with a nice open plan well provisioned timber and iron kitchen and deck area.
The friendly farm animals ( alpacas, horse, miniature ponys, donkey, cows, chickens, and peacocks) that happily live next to and around us made for a unique and special stay. The views from the lovely pool were magical.
All the on site staff are friendly and helpful The cottages are on a farm stay way up in bush and pastureland, so the accommodations are rustic and old. It’s a unique and memorable place to stay and experience a lovely short holiday away from the hustle and bustle, just don’t expect a 5 star hotel.
- Niraj (9/5): Beautiful relaxing place for family - Host Tamara was co operative and supportive through out my stay. Nothing much, but if I am being honest, the mattress could be upgraded and also mould treatment to be done on the property as I did notice some mould spots on ceilings.
- steve (10/5): Perfect stay - Loved the layout. The Bus was awesome.
Simone was so helpful and always had a smile. We over the farm sounds. It was so peaceful staying there. We will come back.
- Del (10/5): - We stayed in Rosecliffe Cottage for 6 days. The farm is a wonderful, and tranquil place. The cottage is charming. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with full size stove and fridge. We lacked for nothing. It has a lovely outdoor area off the bedroom, and small patio off the lounge with good size BBQ. A skylight over the spacious bathroom made for a very light room. Beautiful flora and fauna with an endless parade of passing peafowl, chooks and many other birds, cockatoos etc. The TV has a good selection of channels. Wonderful views to the rolling hills and valleys. Simone and Jared are a lovely couple and incredibly helpful and informative.
- Elsa (10/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Beautiful, relaxing, scenic getaway. We didn’t want to leave. - We stayed for a week in Rosecliffe Treetops (with our little dog) which was wonderful. The house is tucked away from the other units with views from the veranda over the mountain and bushland which was just beautiful with our morning coffee. Loved to watch the cows stroll by.
The house itself used to be a schoolhouse, which was interesting, spacious with a well equipped rustic kitchen. We loved the little electric fireplaces which added some ambience in the evenings. Beds were very comfortable. We loved being in the countryside, lots of interesting noises at night. Pitch black, bring torches for a nighttime walk which our kids loved!
Pool was amazing, kids obsessed over the animals (poor chickens probably have PTSD from being petted so much) and collected eggs every morning, we ate so many omelettes! Owner (Tamra) reached out and couldn’t be more helpful with minor things that were quickly resolved. Drive up is spectacular.
Would be great to stay in winter. We’ll be back x As the weather was warming up we noticed a lot more bugs and particularly March flys. Not a criticism, it’s to be expected in the middle of the countryside on a working farm, but insect repellant would be useful in the warmer months.
- Leanne (10/5): Very quiet and relaxing - Location was great
Walks were fantastic
Animals were so cute
New calf born while we were there
Feeding animals very special Was not keen on caretakers three yr and 6 yr old being left to get in pool by themselves
Little girl naked in pool uncomfortable fir men and young boys
- Melissa (10/5): - Amazing location, beautiful views, lots of amazing animals. My kids had a blast feeding the animals and collecting eggs. Hopefully I’ll be back someday.
- Vivian (9/5): Highly recommended farm stay! - I can bring my pet to our family trip :D. Get to feed farm animals and collected eggs. :) The farm is located on top of the mountain! Amazing mountain views, swimming pool and fire pit. There's Wi-Fi, too. Cool experience to sleep in the vintage bus :). Great hospitality from the owner, Tamra and the caretaker, Simone. Thank you so much for having us. :) Nothing. Everything is so amazing :D.
- Diane and Marty Wells (6/5): - We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage it was clean very comfortable bed reasonable shower
no ants etc... inside
lovely pool with a sunny area
fresh eggs which was nice
Simone the caretaker was nice and friendly and busy with her family and the animals Screeching peacocks on the roof and you had to always keep your doors shut otherwise the chooks would be inside.
outdoor area was like sitting in the cattle yards very untidy with very uncomfortable seating
Fire chimleya was good but no firewood
no sun at all in this cottage very dark if you like sun and light choose the bus for morning sun
not very well maintained property
whole property needs a really good tidy up
- Emma (7/5): Lovely rustic stay for a couple of nights. - Something really different and it was dog friendly. The property was lovely, but maybe geared towards families, as although we stayed in the Melbourne Tram for couples, we could constantly hear screaming children from another couple of cottages
- Mikhaela (10/5): ... An Experience .. to be remembered.. ❤️ - .... Rosecliffe..
Is the most stunning location... beautiful hosts...
The bed & linen.. is outstanding!!! ...
Absolutely everything you need...in kitchen.. bathroom.. Leyland bus... is iconic..the views!!! Just wow!!! ❤️ Loved absolutely everything ❤️
- P (10/5): - De accomodatie als geheel. Wat een fantastisch leuk trammetje, van alle gemakken voorzien met oog voor detail. Heerlijk bed. En leuk om op een afgelegen boerderij door de dieren te worden gewekt. Niets
- angela (9/5): One of the greatest farm stays - Loved the idea of a converted bus
So many animals for the children to see and feed
Freshly laid eggs
Great amenities
Felt like home
Beautiful views
Easy to get to Nothing
I was messaged prior to arrival re odour on the bus. It didn't bother us and didn't affect our stay
- Leanne (10/5): Absolute Perfection!!! - The property was amazing. An incredible view from both the farmhouse and pool. Very peaceful and relaxing. Farmhouse rustic but beautifully decorated. Every bedroom was gorgeous and comfortable. Perfect place for a family or friends to share with five bedrooms. Great location as easy distance from Pomona. Highly recommend. !
- Mitchell (10/5): -
- Cheree (9/5): Still coming back 11 years later. - The view, the animal feeding, the seclusion, the stars, the fire pit, the excellent hospitality of the hosts. We weren’t able to stay in the Bus Stop because of the smell but the owner moved us to another location on the property with no extra charge.
- Helen (8/5): A wonderful place to relax and spend some time outdoors! We loved our stay and the kids had a ball. Thank you! - Such a peaceful location with scenic views from the veranda. We loved the animal feeding and the proximity to the Noosa Trail. The house had plenty of space for our family and beds were comfortable. A nice big kitchen including a large fridge was great to prepare our meals. We loved the open fire, and ability to have air conditioning if required. Just a few little details that could be improved to make it awesome….Water pressure was poor or non existent if someone flushed the toilet or was having a shower. No curtains in one of the bedrooms. Only one small rubbish bin in the whole house. Not many kitchen supplies, so bring everything you need.
- Andries (8/5): - It was clean and spectacular setting
- Jacqui (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leah (10/5): Great property- we will be back - The property was gorgeous- the house was beautifully furnished, bed and linen were superb, lovely big kitchen, feeding the animals was a highlight each morning!!
Would love to stay in the old tram - it looked cool
- Berberich (7/5): Good -
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - The views were exceptional the pool was excellent & it was value for money.
The owner Tamra & the caretaker Tracey were very hospitable & nothing was too much trouble. The dirt road
- Shannon (10/5): Favourite family holiday! - Our 4-person family and dog stayed in the 2-bed 'Tree Tops' cottage, which was very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The animals were all very friendly, so our 4yo felt very confident participating in the morning animal feedings and egg collection with the help of lovely Tamra and her staff. We also loved picking and juicing the organic oranges growing near our cottage, which were so lovely and sweet. Such a wholesome weekend. Have already recommended Rosecliffe to all our friends with young kids!
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tianna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (10/5): We throughly enjoyed our stay. Tamra was very easily contactable and really helpful. The house is absolutely stunning wi - So tranquil and everything required to accomodate 10 people
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leina (10/5): We Keep Coming Back for More! - This was my second trip to Rosecliffe. I’ve stayed in Treetops with the previous owners. This time we stayed in the cottage. The bed is so comfy! The shower is Devine! There is heating if it’s cold and aircon if it’s hot. The pool is unheated and can be quite cold even In May especially being in the hinterland. We have already booked our third stay in 6 months time 🤣 The back door to the cottage is a bit stuck. May need some WD40. Oh and a pizza tray 🤣
- Kristen (8/5): Very good -
- John (8/5): A nice time in the Sunshine Coast hinterland - It was lovely and quiet, with morning feeding of the animals for the kids. Great access to the hiking trails right next door. Renovated bathroom access to the toilet is a bit cramped.
- Julie (5/5): Average - Farm was nice Stayed in tram Mould on toilet and on ceiling in bathroom, mould on window shades, stove top didn't work. Cobwebs in corner. Needs a deep clean. Lights in garden shining in windows that couldn't be covered until late at night.
- Justin (9/5): Enjoayble, relaxing and perfect for the faimly, we will return again. - We have stayed at Rosecliffe before and always enjoyed everything about it. Being a farm stay you get to interact with the animals as much or as little as you wish. Animal feeding time is always a highlight in the morning and this is a perfect place for the family.
- Angelica (10/5): It is a beautiful place to connect with nature and relax, I will return in the future. -
- Raymond (10/5): Ideal family getaway retreat. - We loved everything about our stay. We had an extended family get-together for the weekend and all comfortably fitted in the homestead.
The vista is even better than the photos and only a short drive to the surrounding towns of Cooran, Kin Kin and Pomona.
Hand feeding the farm animals was an absolute bonus and highlight for the children.
We hope to return and highly recommend a stay here.
- Wildogz (10/5): Exceptional - Omg the View. The pool. The beautiful animals.
- Louise (9/5): An amazing family farm stay - Animal feeding No dishwasher:)
- Elliot (10/5): Amazing - Everything was amazing Nothing I didn’t like I loved everything
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (9/5): Rural, tranquil and clean - It was very quiet and tranquil. We had the opportunity to feed the animals and were given some eggs from the chickens that they had. Treetops house was equipped with all the facilities you needed It was slightly off the beaten track you do need a car to stay here
- Jacinta (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ekta (10/5): Peaceful break! - Beautiful scenery from the swimming pool. The cottage itself was surrounded by greenery, which was so peaceful. Animal feeding everything morning was the highlight, and fresh eggs were great! Be mindful that it will be difficult to drive here at night.
- Neil (9/5): Great place to get away from it all with lots of farm animals to meet and feed. - Very comfortable. Kids enjoyed all of the animals. View is terrific. Nothing
- Nathan (8/5): Very good -
- Annemarie (8/5): We had a fantastic stay. It is a magical location. - The house is a beautiful Queenslander with a view to die for. The pool is fantastic and the surrounding breathtaking. Aircon is fantastic on a humid day. The house is furnished well with quality furnishings and the kitchen well equipped with a large stove & fridge. Coffee machine was excellent and coffee & tea provided was thoughtful. The many animals made the stay very enjoyable. The kitchen needs more crockery. New set of pots & pans, decent sized water glasses and extra mugs. No bbq tongs? The house also needs a deep clean & the fridge & stove were not up to standard. We found dead flies in the seal of the fridge drawer. Also cobwebs and redbacks in many windows and corners.
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional - Great facilities, beautiful surrounds, happy friendly animals, and Hayley the farm manager was helpful and conscientious as the storms rolled in.
- Sue (8/5): a Great place to base your self to unwind for a few days. - We stayed in the homestead one five building/Cottages, A great place to get away from the big smoke and unwind or for a group of friends to chill out. A good place to base your holidays from to explore the the hinterland behind Noosa, Boreen Point or the near by National parks. Only internet via start link for steaming service. A lack of locale services directory (handy thing for international/interstate visitors).
- Kevin (8/5): Great location and Vibe - Great Location and atmosphere
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Ivan (10/5): Lovely place, great for kids and loved the local people as well. - Great location. Beautiful view. Loved the animals. All good. No complaints at all. Recommend this place.
- Kylie (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location, animal feeding
- Glenda (8/5): Unforgettable unique accomodation. Overall we enjoyed our stay! - Nice staff. Great views. Great animal feeding experience. Love the peacock and animals hanging around. Unique accomodation. Peaceful. Beautiful pool and views around. Perfect location close to Boreen Point and Pomona shops.Love that it is pet friendly! No direct access to the pool from The Bus Stop. The Bus Stop smelt old inside and paints peeling off. Interior need more polish upgrade. And some furniture as well. Tv no signal. Other than that it is awesome accomodation.
- Christine (9/5): Two days will never be long enough! - I hesitate to write this as Rosecliffe is the kind of place you want to keep a secret..it was beautiful.. secluded, peaceful, breathtaking views, and all from the comfort of a wonderfully appointed large queenslander. I felt like I was at home the moment I walked through the door. Beds were like clouds and there was a huge fridge a large stove and an abundance of plates and wine glasses.
- Nicola (9/5): Most enjoyable. Would like like a longer stay nxt time. - Quiet rural location with beautiful scenery Nothing to dislike 😊
- Kerrie (6/5): Pleasant - View was fabulous and the pool. Lots of animals. Cleanliness could be looked at. Bad smell and
and few safety issues with bus stop. Worn out mattresses.
- Raija (7/5): Comfortable, clean and interesting. Good beds and showers. - Would have been nice to meet someone. We moved in and out without speaking to any staff member,
- Lisa (9/5): Very novel idea was great grandkids loved visiting grandma's tram - great location novel idea was great also great response when run out of gas lovely area amazing views on drive didn't have a shower felt like we were going to wet all the surroundings as hubby double amputee little hard to get out of bath tub
- Warwick (9/5): Superb -
- Stephanie (1/5): Disappointing. - Beautiful location. Inside the Melbourne Tram was covered in MOULD and there were cobwebs/insects/spiders in EVERY corner, clearly had not been checked over prior to us arriving. Bedding was damp, ended up having to source other accommodation as it was a health hazard.
- Sunny (8/5): Brilliant! Booked it again as soon as we got home -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Josie (6/5): Pleasant - Friendly staff, lovely animals and views. Very dusty and musty smelling, especially in the bus. Mould present on a few surfaces. Not ideal for families with asthma and allergies. Open plan kitchen/deck area gets blasted with sun in the mornings (plastic outdoor blinds available but were mouldy). Also very little room for a family of 4 to sleep in the bus.
- Katie (10/5): Absolutely wonderful, we will be back :) - Love the location, it's so beautiful out there. Great to get away for some quiet time with the family. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. We also love the individual fire areas each accommodation block has - it's nice to be able to relax with a glass of wine in the evenings and toast marshmallows. Nothing much, it's fabulous value for money and we always have a wonderful time there. I did note down though that the blind needed fixing in the lounge - it's right next to the childrens bed and most parents find it extremely important to be able to block out light to stop their kids from waking at 5am. We ended up hanging towels from the blind rack down the walls using laundry pegs.
- Clare (8/5): Lovely stay in the Hinterland. - The property is set in the beautiful rolling green hills of the hinterland. The view from the pool area is spectacular! Paul (the owner) was very welcoming and introduced us to the various animals on the property including chickens, miniature ponies, llama, alpaca, donkey, horse and cows. The farm is well kept and tidy.
Our cottage had everything we needed for our stay, the bathroom is huge! The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a BBQ outside.
Close by, there is the Pomona distillery if you like to taste some local gins. If you like walking/hiking the
property is situated on the Noosa Trail. There is plenty to do around the area as well as a drive to Noosa to spend the day.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The accomodation could do with a little updating. This is not something that would put us off staying again, as it is still a lovely place to stay.
- Nicholas (10/5): Great location for a quiet getaway from Brisbane City - Great tour of the farms and the animal feeding. My daughter loved all the animals. Very peaceful location.
- Ada (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brooke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robyn (9/5): Quirky, quiet, cosy and comfortable. - The most pleasant surprise was how enclosed and puppy-proof the bus was. Alfie, my cavoodle, and I enjoyed playing fetch under cover especially while it was raining. It was relaxing knowing he was safe while I was cooking etc.
The bus was quirky, cosy and comfortable and we really appreciated the air-conditioning. Working the tv was mildly annoying. The internet kept dropping out and I couldn’t access regular free-to-air channels. Putting an extra non-slip mat might be helpful as it was a little slippery when we came in out of the rain.
- Melissa (8/5): Excellent, quiet and relaxing. - The farm was red excellent, we loved being involved in the morning animal Feeding. Fresh eggs were offered. Tree top accomodation was perfect, relaxing and quiet. It was just a bit further away from
Noosa Heads than we thought.
- Tash (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful old tram lovingly converted, quiet and stunning views
